After Daxter casts his spell Farouq commands Adjo to sniff out the mill workers, then starts raging and wildshapes into a dire tiger, hoping to sniff out attackers as well, if the first approach did not work. Depending on what he makes out, Farouq moves in next to Adjo (or wherever he can make one out, or is visible due to glitterdust).

![]() |

On second thought Ursus is going to leave the hidden workers to Farouq, Adjo, and Daxter.
Hearing the panicked cry of Garra and Takuma's comment about spellcasters the big Ulfen bounds across the room and leaps for the raised doorway.
Acrobatics to Jump (including the bonus from Haste)
1d20 + 12 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 12 = 30
I think this is just about one move action. From there move to engage an enemy.

![]() |

"You're next!", Ursus threatens the bird-man as it steps out of the Ulfen's reach and casts its defensive spell.
The Ulfen bellows as his rage boils over. The change quickly washes over the warrior, his form changing again - fur sprouting from his bare skin, his face shifting to resemble a bear's snout, and his nails growing to blackened sharpened points.
Free Action - Rage and gain Animal Fury attack
The barbarian glares down at the dagger wielding cultists assembled in front of him, emits a bestial growl, and then begins a savage assault - swinging his trunk-like limbs in scything arcs and lunging for a bone crushing bite.

Also, retrieving the rod, casting fly, and commanding Garra is all you can do this round (a move, a standard, and a free action). Since you need one hand to cast the spell, this also means that you had to drop the shield (either that, or you had never drawn it).
I was assuming I had the rod in hand. The shield has a quick release (can be thrown as a free action).

Aquila will fly into the upper office. Command Garra to attack the bird creature.

Even so, you need one hand free to cast the spell, which means that you are not holding the shield (if you used the rod).

No problem. (Shield was a remnant from the level 2 character, It's not terribly useful for the level 8 variant. (Should get a nice buckler to go with the rod))

Size modifer in, with miss chance, from the position we are in I thought Farouq cannot get to the one Adjo attacks, so waiting for the GM to make his call..

![]() |

Yeah, you get the Inspire Courage bonus to damage on every attack. Alex can fix that easily enough.
You missed the size penalty (-1) to attack rolls for both Adjo and Farouq.
If Farouq is attacking the same target as Adjo he won't need miss chance rolls since that enemy has been Glitterdusted.
In the odd chance that that worker survives the flurry of claws and bites , you should roll a couple grapple checks to grab the worker.

![]() |

and I tried my best for all calculations, please correct any mistakes, I never played a druid in wildshape....)
I think you get a size penalty to hit of -1 cause you get large.

Aquila Audax wrote:If Garra is badly hurt he'll cast a cure serious (using the rod), else he'll summon monster 4 for 1d3 young giant eagles.Aquila, according to your memorized spell list that's part of your profile, you don't have CSW memorized. Is that not an accurate spell list?
I meant the cure moderate. Cure serious isn't a level 3 spell for a druid and the rod won't work.

![]() |

OK, thanks, Aquila.
The reason I did not finish the round, is because I need input from Farouq. The presence of the grease spell makes for a bit of a headache. I didn't want to assume that Tiger-Farouq would march through the grease spell, plus there would be a lot of squeezing involved for the big kitty.
Now that you have the updated map, Farouq, what do you want to do?

![]() |

It's in there.
Freshly healed, Garra the eagle strikes at the foes around him, nearly tearing the guard in front of him to shreds. (bite (13) + 10 + 2 + 1 = 26, hit! Damage (3) + (3) + 8 + 2 = 16 damage; bite (1) + 10 + 2 + 1 = 14, automatic miss)
Assuming the positioning doesn't change too much do you mind having Garra 5 foot step to F35?

![]() |

Is Garra hitting it's target? (I've not seen his attacks in the summary)

Even though I was married almost a year ago (wow, has it been that long?) my wife and I are finally taking our honeymoon this week. Because of that, I will probably be offline for most of this week, beginning tomorrow (Sunday) and returning on Friday. Take the time to plan your tactics, I'll be back next weekend.

Bummer.
Well, have a good time.
It's a shame we didn't leave off at a place where we could just RP.

And... for the next round of Takuma:

See that, Daxter is in the way too, not brilliant, but still Farouq moves in carefully, squeezing next to Daxter and attacks the pone worker (so just the bite attck)

Hi folks,
I'm back from my honeymoon (had a great time relaxing), but am being dragged off to a familial commitment this evening. I hope to be able to post at least once this weekend (I have a computer with me this time and a good internet connection), but with trips to the in-laws you never know. Sorry for the additional delay. I will definitely be back in regular circulation by Sunday eve.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Alex
P.S.: Is anyone planning on going to PaizoCon this year? I've heard from one of you, but wanted to let you all know that I'll be running my PFS scenario (The Dalsine Affair) there twice over the weekend.

Farouq cannot drop out of Rage, or he might should, going unconscious and dying at -15. Yes, he needs help.
Now, wildshape does not provoke, could he wildshape into an earth elemental and 5ft step into the ground with earth glide?
Btw., is there really an auto-hit, they still might roll a 1, or?
Ouch. I think Farouq needs a hand. If he drops out of rage HP I think he's going to die.
It might be worth just dropping out of rage now.

I think the autohit is him telling he rolled a 20.
BTW, if you plan on wild shaping a lot, make sure you have a mage armor running.

But wildshaping into something non threatening, like a tiny bird and 5 foot fly might be a smart move.
Oh, and calling for help might work too! ;-)
