"Where is the vase? Oh, how beautiful!" Sheela grins as her allies warn her of trouble. "I see. Would it be easier for me to conjure an eagle as a distraction?"

Sheela will start casting Summon Monster I unless someone interrupts her.

Sorry I thought I moved behind Yorad when I posted. I think the little Princess moved me back and took my spot!

Mort is about to move up when ye little froggy squirts up behind Yorad and starts looking around as well. Beaten to the punch I see. He lifts his legs up high and steps over the small one and into the back corner to provide ample light to both of them.

"We haven't seen anyone yet Sheela, just taking our time heading over there in case the place is booby trapped."

"Hmm? I guess so." Sheela hesitates. "The last thing we need is a trap that releases the vase before we're ready."

Sheela will delay.

"Well lets keep it that way, and not encounter other people.
Though i won't be naive and assume it will be so easy."

"I think we also need a plan for how to get the cage down, New Friends. It's awfully high up off the floor." She looks hopeful. "Don't suppose any of you can fly, can you?"

Now out of the cramped confines of the small tunnel, she draws her longspear once more. "On the other hand, I think we're on the right track with making a careful approach. Keep up the good work you guys! I'll keep watch back here since it looks like there's another way out of the Dry Room. We found an awful lot of little dead critters but there might actually be some live ones running around...I've heard stories about people dumping pets down into the sewers, then they get big. Really, really, really big," she shivers. With the light largely focused up at the front of the group, she conjures her own onto the tip of her longspear as she looks around nervously.

Sheela will carefully walk along the catwalk, eventually winding up in the corner.

Yorad nods to Sheela as he slowly moves along the walkways, almost at a crawl here. Seeing no obvious threats or critters he thinks, Why rush here?

I marked Yorad's path with the green arrows.

Tiffany follows Sheela about half way through the red "safe squares," then, she sees the vase close and can't help herself so she jumps into the filthy water. "Don't worry guys, it's just harmless sewage water. Great for the skin, right Bebop? Sheela? Corona? How about a dip?"

Swim check?

"Uh...I don't know, New Friend...heavy armor might make me sink," Corona calls hesitantly as she follows the others into the room. Since Sheela went one way and Mort and Yorad another, Corona decides to take the road less traveled and head directly west.

Tried to do the fancy line thing but couldn't; Corona's path to her current map position should be pretty obvious though.

Fort Save, Tiffany: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Fortunately for Tiffany, she is a very sturdy frog, and manages to avoid contracting filth fever from her harmless dip in the pool.

Everyone but Corona hears some one clang and trip inside the pipe. CLA-A-ANG! CRASH! Most of the rest of you hear someone else whisper in exasperation, "Shhhh! Do you want them to KNOW we're coming?"

Everyone but Corona gets to act in a surprise round as four clumsy and filth-covered Aspis agents fail to ambush you while they come out of a pipe!

"Well, that was disappointing. Not much of a trap. Grandmama, lend me some of your power!"

Sheela points at the wall and a burst of golden particles erupt over the four ambush-wannabes. To the party it's a beautiful auric spray, but to Aspis it's quite blinding!

Using my racial spell-like ability to cast glitterdust to blind the ambushers (and prevent them from hiding.) A DC 15 Will Save resists the blind effect. They get to make this saving throw immediately, and also at the end of each of their turns.

"Aspis? Taking OUR vase? Not a damn chance!" Tiffany says as she climbs out of the sewer water. She looks back and shouts at the others, "Don't fall in the water, I think it carries disease!" And draws a net from her pack as she advances.

Climb: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Mort's head yanks up when he hears the banging around down in the pipe They make as much noise as these hens do! He quickly moves towards the sound of the ambush, dropping his sunrod on the way and pulling out his greatsword.

"We've got you surrounded, make any sudden moves and you'll be eating s+@@ for eternity!" He says looking down at the slop, which apparently Tiffany is quite fond of...

Aspis? Who the Hell are they...ohhh right, they are like rivals or something. Must have been asleep during that part of the lecture. I wonder if they pay better...

Yorad moves cautiously towards the filthy ambushers, his knife at the ready.

Don't wanna lose my precious blades in this filth...

Sheela's catches three of the foes by surprise! Only the blue rogue manages to avoid getting blinded, throwing up his hand to cover his face.

Meanwhile, Tiffany clambers out, Mort moves forward shouting, and Yorad moves forward as well.

Damn timezone differences, I suspect D is snoozin away.

Would have rolled, but i was out for dinner with my family.

During those 3 rounds, Sophia follows in Sheela's footsteps, and stops 3 squares east of her.

In the surprise round, she quickly shifts her hypnotic stare at the fighter.

She blows an orb of acid at the fighter.

Hooray for blindness AC penalty, or it might have missed.

Sophia forces GM Hmm to do math! Because the fighter is blind and flatfooted, her acid orb hits!

Then it is his turn, and the Green Fighter manfully shakes the glitter out of his eyes!

He hurls his extra sparkly and glittery throwing axe at Sheela but does not crit! "Try to blind me, will you? Take that, Pathfinder Witch!"

"Oh! Well hello there," Corona blinks with surprise as the four Aspis suddenly come barreling out of the nearby tunnel right next to her. As the air around them sudden fills with sparkling dust, she laughs. "It looks like we're having a party! But you're not being very good party guests," she frowns as she takes a step back.

"Good thing the heavens are on our side," she smiles as she raises her hands, calling down a blessing on herself and her allies.

Mort moves in, swinging his greatsword threateningly, goes for the finishing blow on the green clad warrior. "I warned you!"

Great Sword + Power Attack + Bless: 1d20 + 5 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 - 1 + 1 = 212d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 + 3 = 15 Slicing down into his shoulder and chest, his armor stands no chance verses that kind of power! Lets see if these guys fight with similar honor as those birds...

The blue rogue gasps, "Oh my Aspis! They killed Kenny!" as Mort slices the fighter in twain!

Sheela casts Daze upon the purple sorcerer in the back. "I'm not a witch. I'm simply gifted." She moves out of the corner, right behind Mort.

Because the Cleric is blinded, Yorad successfully shanks the cleric!

The Purple Sorcerer stands stupidly, his mouth agape this turn.

The Blue Rogue moves forward to Tiffany, fiercely attacking with both swords.

He just barely manages to get past the Grippli's armor and strikes a fierce cut! "Ha, take that, Frogface!"

Princess Tiffany is up!

Tiffany grabs onto her bloodied arm and winces in pain, but more than that, an angry grimace suddenly washes over her face. She holds her breath as her blood begins to boil. He.. cut... ME?!

"You... You... m&+~@~$#$+$#!"

Bebop frantically leaps around her shoulders, terrified of her anger. Tiffany quickly steps back and enthusiastically throws a net into the air, aiming it for the tengu Aspi jerk's blue head.

Net adept, melee reach, bless: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8

Tiffany misses the Blue Aspis Jerk. "Yeah I cut you, Frog. You'd have been a tasty dinner if you didn't bathe in filth!"

Yeah, they're still blind. The cleric holds up his sword and slashes blindly at Yorad.

He whiffs because he is blind!

Seeing the opportunity to take a spellcaster out of the fight quickly, Mort watches his target, then steps up and brings his greatsword to bear once more.

I'm missing one of the remaining three to have cried out 'You b@stards, with an accusing finger pointing. ^^

"While i agree frog legs can be exquisite, this is one is not for you to eat."

Sophia quickly walks west, to where Sheela was previously.

Sophia blows an orb of acid from her palm at the cleric, whom she shifts hypnotic stare at.

Mort manages to just barely hit the blinded sorcerer, and slices easily right through him! Sophia manages to hit the blind cleric with an acid splash, and kills him as well! There's just one rogue left.

"All of that time, stuck in a disgusting sewer drain. The last time I went to the sewer I stopped an uprising of the undead. You...tried to ambush people for a silly vase."

"Oh wow...looks like you guys should've trained a bit harder," Corona muses as her own companions cut through the opposition like a hot knife through butter. "Or bought some goggles or something. Sorry about this, but can't let you take the vase," she adds as she steps into position and attempts to stab at the rogue from across the gap.

She manages to land a square hit, but the power behind it is a bit lacking from having to make sure she doesn't overextend and fall into the sewage below. "Oh! I did it! I'm getting better at this!" she beams.

"Seriously? You tried your damn mind tricks on me before. They didn't work last time other than to coat me in glitter."

Clearly, this is one strong-willed rogue. He looks right, then left, and seeing all of his allies down, he full withdraws from Corona and runs across the slippery walk ways in an attempt to flee the party.

"Yeah, you may think you've won but the Aspis WILL get revenge! When you LEAST expect it, EXPECT it!"

She runs back and throws another net.

"OH COME ON!" The rogue shrieks in annoyance as Tiffany entangles him!

Meanwhile, Corona falls prone as she attempts to cut off the escape!
