@ the +2 bonus thingy: You can combine all +2 to a single check (like say the Trial of Might, or the Trial of the Tribe.) Or, you can use them individually to give yourselves a boost--like in this past Trial of the Word Hoard.

Winning this trial brings up another point. how do you guys want to deal with loot? In my past games, someone always runs a spreadsheet and plays the role of lootmonger. I prefer to stay out of the discussion on how it gets divvied up to avoid playing favorites (was in a game once, and it was blatant the GM was favoring one character over others.. things got icky... and.. ya). I will say, however, that at looting times, I will always make sure there is at least one piece of gear tailored to a character, so that after 6 lootings, everyone's received something useful to them--and not just cures.

so, knowing your next challenger at either the Trial of Thunder or the Trial of Might.. which do you want to do? :D

I'm not actually that interested in the Trial of Might, but we could pool pour bonuses for the Trial of the Tribe...

As for the spreadsheet/loot - I'm cool with that, but I'm the last person you want to actually be in charge of it. :)

As for parity, I'm cool with inequal loot. But if you want to be "fair" I won't complain. ;)

Hakak would be way into the Trial of Might.

Also, suppose I could run the lootmongering. I'm already doing it for some dragon of ash and flame guy's Kingmaker. It's a good way to make sure treasure doesn't fall down the memory hole.

Shakraal has the right of it. You can pool them together, or you can use them individually, but they only last for the next trial.

Well, since everyone is mentioning trips... I'm heading to San Diego on the 13th of May and will be coming back on the 19th (i hope). I THINK we'll have free- wiFi, i need to make sure of that. Either way, i'll do my best to keep thigns moving with my phoen.. but the verbosity may be a bit.. lax around then.

That order for the trials sounds good to me.
My wife and I are in the process of moving into a new house, and today and tomorrow are our big moving days, so I won't be posting much until Sunday evening or even Monday morning. This'll probably be my last post until at least Sunday morning.

My method:
1) I am not quite boring enough to go through everyone's starter gear, so I bundled it and then assigned it a value of your starting gold, minus loose coin on hand.
2) I generally dump things in unallocated to start, then reassign as they're claimed. In the absence of dispute, I assume that whoever speaks up gets.
3) If I made a mistake, feel free to scream at me. Politely.
4) I'll probably cut the current page at the end of the first book, carry over totals, and start a second sheet in the same file for the second, etc. Vertical scrolling will get crazy anyway, but this keeps it to a slightly more sane level. At least by my standards. My sanity is always questionable.
