I did find out that I have been teaching the French Revolution all wrong. According to a student who missed about 95% of the class, the French Revolution took place because Marie Antoinette wanted to spend all of France's money and they would not let her. As a result, she led a coup against the French. They didn't lime that so they chopped off her head.

Hey everyone, if you have your HP total in your tagline, please update as you take damage or heal. It might definitely affect the choices of those of us who can channel/lay on hands/ cast cure spells on what actions we take.

This helps your GM, too. :) I am trying to keep the health bars on the battle map accurate and it helps to have someone else checking my work, so to speak.
So, my computer decided to quit connecting to the internet and I don’t know why. I can still do some limited posting from my phone, but I may be a bit sparse until I can get this fixed.

It’s a desktop. Ethernet was what went out. (Though when I switched to wireless that didn’t seem to be working either).

And everything else can still connect to the modem/router? If so it may be the ethernet port if it's older, which would stop the connection to the router.

I am doing summer school now for 3 weeks in June. I spent 2.5 hours adding students to an online class yesterday. There are about 60. I think I am missing one so I have to go over it again tomorrow with someone else to double check.

Did the Ghouls all succeed on their Reflex saves against blindness? It isn't something they should be immune to.

I want to make sure I have your current character stats. I've seen a couple of things pop up that don't match what I think you have, so I'd like to get those reconciled.
I've created a DropBox folder where you can upload your character sheets. It can be a HeroLab .por file (don't worry about sourcebooks), a PCGen file, a PDF, a stat block in a text file, or whatever works for you. As long as I can read it, it's all good.

So 20 ft hemisphere inside darkened room should now be lit.
For those of you using HeroLab, I have created a HeroLab data file that adds some of the adjustment items that our group commonly uses but which aren't in the base package or add-ons. For example: Arloric's "Echoes of Nature's Song". In HeroLab Arloric has an option to activate that ability for himself, but it conveys bonuses to other players and there's no item in the "Adjust" tab for others to add those in.
Right now I only have two items in it, but I am sure we'll need more over time:
* Adjust -> Conferred Ability Adjustments -> Bard: Echoes of Nature's Song
* Adjust -> Conferred Ability Adjustments -> Paladin: Angelic Bond
I've also added the download to the "resources" section of our game's web site.
How to add this to HeroLab
In HeroLab, go to Tools -> Explore Folders -> Game System Folder and then copy the above download (JM_Misc.user) into this folder. You'll need to restart HeroLab for it to pick it up. Once you do that, the new items will be available to use.

I haven't used the online version but the early word was that it did not support custom content.

Just a heads-up to folks: on Tuesday, June 22nd, I have a routine diagnostic procedure, and will be offline pretty much all day and possibly a good bit of the evening before. That will be followed by half-day commitments on both Thursday and Friday (24-25th).
Expect that whole week to be slow.

Also, you'll notice I've got Radiance and a separately listed magical bastard sword. That's because HeroLab doesn't allow you to change Radiance away from the default longsword, so I made one myself.

You can actually build Radiance yourself--including the name--in HL. The dialog window for a custom weapon has a "Legendary Item" checkbox (it's off to the right, below the "Intelligence" and "Curses" buttons), and then you can give it a custom item nem in the text field in the middle.
