I thought Dahrehn inspired courage bardic ability?

Yea, and I looked that up. It does this: "You grant allies within 50 feet of you a +2 morale bonus to saving throws versus fear effects."

Link.

Edit: My mistake. I haven't ever played a Bard, so when I googled it, I got the above result which is completely different to what it says in class. Yea, scrap that. You hit then. I'm happy to admit I don't know the rules I'm unfamiliar with though, so thanks for pointing that out!

Male Human (chelaxian) cleric 3/sorc 4 HP:42/43 AC 17 T - 13 FF 15 F-+5 R +4 W +9

doh, I must have been thinking it was the other one then, I dont run with bards very often my apologies.

No, from what I can see you're right buddy. :)

Initiative's on the previous page, guys. It's Dahrehn. :)

Then you Lirandra :) As Keil has separated from the group I don't think his action will be too conflicting...oh, did you figure out which planks are still there and which aren't? Any chance of putting an X through it?

As the others swing wildly at the surrounding goblins in the water, Keil takes up his crossbow and aims it at the only one not swimming in the sludge.

Crossbow Att: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 1 = 16

As the other Goblins are in the sewage, which is 3 feet deep, and the Goblins are about 3 feet tall, only their heads are bobbing above the water. Can I claim clear line of sight without worrying about firing into combat?

Haha, I've told you twice that the planks by you guys going to the right are the ones that aren't there, because that's the direction you were moving lol. Also there would still be a miss chance involved because it's hard to see the green of their skin within the sewage below and technically you would be firing into combat as they're engaged with Dahrehn, Lirandra and Araraxus....right next to them in fact.

Just to be sure we are talking about the same target :) Keil was shooting at the only target not in the sewage.

Keil wrote:

In this case, it is the goblin standing 25ft away on the walk in front of Trendon and above the other goblins meleeíng with Dahrehn and the rest.

For future reference, what's the miss chance for concealment, 50% or 20%? or did you want to roll that?

From across the sewage, Keil's crossbow bolt whizzes past the lone Goblin engaged with Trendon, bouncing harmlessly off the wall and into the putrid waters. Keep moving! We need to spread out!

Sorry team. Still had in-laws visiting. Yes, y'all get a +1 to attacks and damage with weapons.

Dahrehn continues speaking with authority, "That's it! Strike down these lesser beings! Free action, 6/8 remaining

HP: 8/8 | Init: +5 | Perc: +4 | AC: 13 | Touch: 13 | FF: 10 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +3 | Will: +4

Gasping, Lirandra again strikes downwards at the creature.

Damage 2: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

Firing his sling into combat, Araraxus' attempt creates nothing more than a mere splash in the sewage below as he struggles to hold his footing on the slippery surface of the walkway.

Meanwhile Keil's fired crossbow bolt bounces back from the adjacent wall and Lirandra struggles to hit her or even see her target in the dim surrounding light.

Dahrehn on the other hand strikes true, plunging his sword deep into and out through the other side of the goblins shoulder blade. Lashing out in mental anger, the little green guy returns with two pathetically swung strikes, only to miss both times either through stupidity, the distraction of his gaping wound, or both....

Regardless, the goblin that joyfully bounded from the northern walkway hasn't yet popped up from the stream of stinking sewage. Perhaps Trendon's attack wasn't as misplaced as everyone originally thought!

Trendon, you're up!

It was like a bad ridiculous dance, the goblin would dart forward all snotfaced and beady eyed seeking his death, and the young ranger would shift and dodge away back pedelling and once again bringing his guisarme to bear. The blow was solid he smiled grimly glad he finally struck the damned thing

As Trendon fells yet another Goblin, the one stuck between Trendon, Keil and Lirandra yet again lashes out with a flurry of vicious blows that do nothing but make the creature look like some kind of twitching psycho.

Lirandra's actions should precede mine. If I read correctly, there is only the one goblin left. I will see how lucky she is before loosing another bolt. :)

2 are left, as the one Dahrehn hit was wounded heavily but didn't die. I've marked them off the map as I've been going along. :)

Stabbing fourth frantically, Lirandra stabs the dirty little blighter in the eye, just deep enough to kill it as it regained its composure for another attack against Dahrehn.

All that remains is the injured one to the north.

Keil quickly reloads his crossbow with another bolt. Looking down the groove length of the crossbow, he carefully aims and waits. As the wounded Goblin bobs up for air, Keil squeezes the trigger, loosing another shot at the elusive creature. The Teifling shakes his head, cursing again as he watches the bolt sail wide of it's target.

The last remaining Goblin would run, had it a logical brain, though with Dahrehn being the only member of the adventuring party to damage it, it once more lashes out at the man with both attacks.

Trendon's up!

Male Human (chelaxian) cleric 3/sorc 4 HP:42/43 AC 17 T - 13 FF 15 F-+5 R +4 W +9

Trendon with both his foes down, moves forward stabbing down at the little terror in the sewage.

Back to Araraxus. :)

As Trendon moves forward to attack the little green menace within the sewage stream, the sly looking man misses with his swing as the slippery surface proves difficult to move with the speed one would normally carry on the ground above.

I would have thought someone else would have posted by now...but oh well.

It is sometimes said, that in the heat of battle time seems to slow. Such is the moment Keil experiences as he reaches into his dwindling supply of bolts. With the weight of time having left his shoulders, the Teiflling calmly reaches his fingers into the case, grasping the wooden shaft and the worn fletching at the end. He can feel the friction of the bolt leaving its case, see the projectile merge with the line of the flight groove and feel the building tension of the string. As though on que, the bobbling goblin comes into view and is then eclipsed by the waiting pile. Keil squeezes the trigger sending the bolt flexing on its path.
