Sorry for the limited posting recently. At present this is my only online campaign, and I am checking several times a week. Varg is still here, just not able to aid in the investigation at this point. If my posting level is not enough, please let me know and I will drop out.
On the flip side, I am enjoying this game so far, and hope to stick with this to the end, if we survive that far.

I'm actually a bit hopeful about this fight. Inside the darkness both the black skeletons and the ogres should have a 50% Miss Chance. I remember the black skeletons having lots of attacks at a high hit chance, but not a lot of damage per hit. The ogre skeletons have DR vs slashing and Fast Heal 2. That makes them pretty ideal defenders against the black skeletons.
So Grezzor can just nuke them all. The black skeletons probably have more hit points, but I'm hoping the ogre's fast heal helps offset that some.

the fact that we have only had one chance to resupply this whole game has changed the way gameplay works a lot. It's an interesting thing to see play out.

Heads up guys, I will be travelling July 16 to the 28th and probably won't have access to the internet. Feel free to Bot, but please don't kill :) As an evil sort, Keil has no problem retreating to safety with or without the party to save his own skin.
Since Keil is out of town still and we are in a major fight I will wait until the 29th before moving things along.

What initiative will the skeletons act on?
They will act on Praetor's initiative roll, unless he has them act at a different spot

It's just easier that way. Technically, they're a lot faster than Grey and have enough pre-programmed instructions (as well as hostile malicious instincts) to spring into action as soon as a fight breaks out, but most of the time it's just less work to have them act on Grey's initiative so I do't have to be making two separate combat posts a round.

Channeling does one or the other, not both; the priest/cleric must decide which at the time of channeling. Positive energy harms undead or heals the living. Negative energy heals undead or harms the living. Unless they have the Selective Channeling feat, every living creature in a 30ft radius is affected by the negative channeling which harmed Arlok and needs to save for half. It is not just Arlok who should be taking damage. If the purple priest is being healed by these channelings, then he is probably undead. But if that is the case, then Arlok shouldn't be affected as the priests will have chosen to direct their energies towards healing. If my interpretation is wrong, I will need to rethink how I play my clerics.

No that's how it works. He doesn't need to be undead though. If they have the undead sub domain which worshiping Orcus they probably would. But yes it is still and either or, and yes either they have selective channeling or they are using Death's kiss, but it only last 1/2 their cleric level in rounds so the guys using 2 dice would get 2 rounds at most and it's a standard action to use so the first round is used up the round they use it and they have channeled twice so yeah all the priest need to be undead or they are all Dhampir's that works as well.
Yeah they had to errata channel back early after the Dhampir came out. If you had a group of 4 Dhampir's they would just roam around channeling and healing themselves at the same time. Dhampir death squads. It was fun while it lasted but crazy. :)

I was interpreting events that the little priests were healing each other with channels.
I dropped one in the first round, and then he popped back up when they channeled.
Could be some weird Orcus mojo from the room we're in.
There's five of them channeling at us in the doorway. Seems unlikely that selective channeling is how they don't hurt each other.
