Roscoe does so.
Sun Xiao Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
The bandits, having nowhere else to turn, run back to the window where they last saw Jack and Chloe, and begin firing at them, but miss every shot.

Jack, you're up.
Sun Xiao |
Jack's arrow streaks through the air and thuds into the archer's shoulder.
The 3 bandits after Roscoe follow him out the door.
Sun Xiao notices them sprinting that way and circles around the house to investigate.
Upon seeing the bandits surrounding Roscoe he calls out a challenge to them.
"Come, fight me, if you think you're man enough!"
Rynjin |
One of the archers, seeing he has no clear target, moves to the window. Noticing Chloe first, he fires a shot, and misses by a mile.
Chloe has cover from this angle.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Chloe, then Roscoe.
Roscoe Schwetz Garret |
Or 5 ft. step back and take a shot, since you have support now. Do whatever you like, I'm just telling you your options, Withdrawing works too.
Then they take a move and attack. Withdrawal is the best course of action currently.
Rynjin |
Once outside, the bandits must deal with the thick snow, and can just barely put themselves next to Roscoe and Sun Xiao, ready to strike.
The bandits inside the lodge wonder where their targets went, and head back toward where they last saw something, at the back door.
All except 1, who laboredly clambers out of the window he's near, startled to see Jack right next to him now.
Jack, you're up. Oh, and my bad, the bandits with swords don't move yet, that's next turn.
Sun Xiao |
Luckily for Jack, this is the guy he nailed with an arrow earlier. He drops to the ground, unconscious, making Jack's movement safe.
Then two bandits move as I put down.
Sun Xiao moves in and kicks at the guy nearest him, but misses.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
The last bandit moves.
Chloe, then Roscoe.
Roscoe Schwetz Garret |
Roscoe takes a step back to be a bit behind Sun Xiao and raises his musket to fire at the person who shanked him last.
"To God damn hell with you sons of b$*%*es!"
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
ffs u frsrs m8
Suddenly, the musket gives off a soft click without any explosive projectile being shot out.
"Shit."
Rynjin |
That should be +6 mang. Dex 4, BaB 1, Point Blank Shot 1.
The two remaining archers move into a firing position and shoot at Chloe and Sun Xiao, arrows flying past but drawing long scratches on both of them.

1 damage to Chloe and Sun Xiao.
Guys, can you do me a favor? So we can speed things up, can you put your AC, save bonuses, and HP in the bar you have your class in?
Jack Cogito |
Jack comes around the corner of the building and fires an arrow at the bandit closest to Sun Xiao.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
The arrow inexplicably shatters in midair, causing splinters to land harmlessly at the bandit's feet.

The bandit that Chloe shot whimpers in pain and tries to hobble away slowly.

Sun Xiao retaliates with a vengeance, beheading the bandit.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
The third bandit screams in rage and tries to avenge his fallen comrade, striking a mighty blow on Sun Xiao, who glares at him, grimacing through the pain and promising death.

And this is why Quick Clear is given to first level gunslingers
Roscoe grits his teeth and quickly locates and removes the jammed musket ball and gunpowder onto the snowy ground.
He then reloads his musket as usual.
"This ought to work you yellow bastards."
Rynjin |
Why are you using paper cartridges? At this point in the game they don't really help you since you can only fire one shot anyway, and you already have Rapid Reload.
They're just "more expensive bullets" to you at this point. I'd save them until you really need to reload fast like you need to run and shoot in the same round.

The bullet and powder method is cheaper by .25 GP than a paper cartridge. Also, realistically, it's doesn't make sense to bring around loose bullets and powder without them being in a cartridge of some sort.
Rynjin |
*Shrugs*
Two of the bandits fire at Chloe and Sun Xiao, missing both of them.
Jack fires a crossbow bolt, but misses narrowly as well.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The stumbling bandit moves some more, going onto the bridge leading away from the lodge.
Suddenly, a gust of cold wind springs from the air, freezing the bandit solid. He drops to the ground, immobile.
Sun Xiao |
Sun Xiao runs up to one of the bow using bandits and slices him, dropping him to the ground, lifeless.

Roscoe Schwetz Garret |
While taking a few steps forward, Roscoe explains the situation to the
"It's time to collect the bounty on your heads, and I ain't lookin' for no one fight like hell 'ere. Either way, you're a goner."
Roscoe then raises his musket and fires.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage Roll: 1d12 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + (1) = 7
Rynjin |
Roscoe fires his gun and the shot rings out over the area. The man staggers back, and gapes at Roscoe.
"Hell...is...that...?" he gasps, barely managing to stay on his feet.
A few seconds later, the back door is flung open, and two skeletons shamble out, wreathed with ice and with a chill blue glow in their eye sockets.
As well, the corpses of the bandits you've slain (bar the one on the bridge) begin to jerk and shudder, and are slowly drawn to their feet, slack jawed and dead-eyed.

RNG PLZZZZZZZZZZ
Trembling with fury, Jack shouts over his shoulder, "AZOR! NOW WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT TIME TO GET OVER YOUR LITTLE PANIC ATTACK!"
Sun Xiao |
The two skeletons move in on the target closest to them: Sun Xiao.
It takes a swipe at him with one of its claws, but misses.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
The zombie next to him also slams at Sun Xiao, but the clumsy creature slips and nearly falls halfway through the action.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Sun Xiao, not liking the look of the skeletons, decides to test their power before retreating. He kicks at one mightily, sending its bones scattering across the area.
Unfortunately, its chill eats into his skin, and upon its destruction it explodes!
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
Sun Xiao drops to the ground, knocked out by the force of the blast.
He is currently at -2 HP.
Is the consensus that I should bot Azor for now, or what?

Two of the zombies around Roscoe take a swipe at him, one of them nailing him hard.
