The ice elemental laughs at Sun Xiao's glancing strikes, and designates him as a non-threat.

He grabs Ghulassen by the ankle and starts dragging him towards the stream (provokes an AoO from both Sun Xiao and Ghulassen. Ghulassen is now lying on the ice, moments away from being plunged into the icy water.
The other elemental laughs as well, and speaks in a bubbling language.
It then turns its attention back to Chloe, attacking her with its fists.

1d4 + 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + (3) + 1 = 8 Minus 5 Cold Resistance.
Chloe drops to the ground, unconscious, and the creature laughs again, heading over to help out the other elemental with manhandling Ghulassen.
Chloe is at -1 currently.

Sorry Ghulassen, but I didn't come all this way to freeze to death at the bottom of a river. Perhaps I will learn to play an instrument to honor your memory. But not that cacophonous tambourine...something sophisticated, like the violin. I'm sure you'd want it that way.

It helps against cold weather, yes. It does not help against being immersed in 6 feet of freezing water in the middle of an unnatural winter. TBH, even if it did, it doesn't help you much. Your options are freeze or drown if nobody helps you, which it looks like is not going to happen. Statistically speaking you'll fail enough saves eventually that the nonlethal cold damage will kill you (since it converts to lethal once it hits your current HP...which is -1 at the moment, so immediately), if you don't drown first. Which reminds me, you need to make a Con check to avoid losing another HP. If you fail that Con check, you will drown next round.
DC 10: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
You are not currently drowning, and are stable at -1. Next round the DC goes up to 11, and another plus one each round after that. Failing ANY of these Con checks means immediate death in the proceeding round.
Edit: Also forgot, you need to make a Con check to Stabilize and stop losing HP every round starting next round. If you fail enough of those in a row you die.
Have you given any thought as to what your new character is going to be?

He's coming back as a Psionic Warrior Archer. So should be pretty decent. However, he won't be able to make that for at least a couple of days, so we should move on for now. That fight really wasn't very tough, the RNG just decided to say "F@** you guys". If Sun Xiao and/or Chloe had hit even once they would have been severely damaged. Ghulassen also probably could have almost killed both with his Burning Hands SLA but he was a doof and forgot he had that.

Besides Azor's healing, did you guys even use any of your resources? That was the first encounter of the day after you rested.

I only have 4 power points total, so I tend to burn through them pretty quickly. I used one for mage inertial armor, and another for an energy ray, which missed. I'm starting to think that wasn't the best offensive power I could've taken. :I
Aside from that, my crossbow is my best means of offense right now. I do have Bolt, which gives me some slightly better ammo. It might be the better option for sheer point-to-possible-attacks ratio.
In any case I've got 2 points left, so I'm fine with trying again today if you guys are.
