Stinky sighs with relief as the creature lets go its grip on his flesh, a crossbow bolt sticking out of its back. Stinky's flesh shows a red puncture mark, blood still flowing slowly out onto his collar which shows a steadily growing blood red stain on his clothing. With the creature having stopped feeding on him, Stinky's blood congeals and seals the purple bruise where the strige had fed on his blood.
"Thanks Ariannia." he says quickly, appreciation for her accurate shot oozing through his tone. "Those aren't very nice. Can I sit down a sec and get my breath back?"

His initial fright is replaced by his curiosity once more, and he furtles in his bag looking for the ingredients of another bomb.
