Hm... I'm assuming 16 days of downtime is not apt to happen anytime in the remotely near future? Otherwise, instead of the pearl, if Elisile wanted to chip in 3k on top of my 5k, I could craft a headband of vast intelligence +4 for myself and hand down my +2 headband to her. She'd still be paying 1k less than "book price" for a +2 headband and I'd get an upgrade. Ah well.

I've got a STR belt as well. However, the healing belt could be very useful for someone who moves arround the battlefield a bit. I was thinking Camlo or Elisile would get the most use out of it.
Camlo would find that *very* useful! What does it do?
Also, I'm struggling to think of ways for Camlo to be useful if he isn't getting up close and flanking, any suggestions, or suggestions of purchases that would help him are much appreciated!

I suggest he gets up close and flanks. If you are worried about getting hit, you need items that will boost your AC - either through DEX, natural AC, or deflection. You could think about taking the Dodge feat as well. And you could boost your CON for extra hp if you do get hit.
Hmm, upping Dex is always a good plan, all of my to hit bonuses are based off it :D

Elisile Starbrow |

You might also want to consider a mithril chain shirt. It's got +4 AC basic bonus and a maximum DEX bonus of +6.
Good choice, although unless you can afford a magic one at this point it won't be any better than your current armour. Also, try to invest in a belt of dexterity asap. If you haven't already done so, max out acrobatics to help you move about the battlefield without being hit. Also remember that under the right conditions you can make ranged sneak attacks too, so long as you are within 30 feet.

Sounds like a good plan, maybe at a later date.

If any members of the party want or can use a scroll of mirror image (CL 3) or a scroll of acid arrow (CL 4) Elisile will give them to that person, otherwise she will sell them to the merchants on the riverboat Titanic. She’ll probably buy something too. Maybe some boots or cloak of Elvenkind if they have any in stock?

You can get what you want from the traders if you can afford it.
For reference, Healing Belt (from the Magic Item Compendium):
Price: 750gp
Body slot: waist
Caster level: 3
Activation: Standard action (see below)
The wearer gains a +2 competence bonus to Heal checks (a constant effect requiring no activation). In addition, the belt has three charges, renewed each day at dawn. Spending 1 or more charges allows you to channel positive energy and heal damage with a touch (or damage undead).
1 charge - heals 2d8 damage
2 charges - heals 3d8 damage
3 charges - heals 4d8 damage
Personally, I think that's somewhat underpriced, considering a postion of Cure Serious Wounds costs 750gp. Ah well, the end days of 3.5. It's Camlo's if he wants it, but it will clash with the body slot for a belt of DEX if he decides to go for one of them at some stage.

"I quit drinking. I'm straightedge.
I'll come along though."
"Bah! What happened to you? If there's anything that'll make a man drink, it would be the kind of horrors we've just been through. Gorum knows I intend to get plastered as soon as I can. I also owe Illes as many drinks as he can manage - plus a few more after that."
Regarding the DEX item - isn't that a set of gloves?

Elisile Starbrow |

In 3.5 yes; in PFRPG they standardised all the items that give you a physical stat boost to belts, and all the items that give you a mental stat boost to headbands. You could still make / buy gloves of dexterity, but they would cost more since they use a non-standard body slot.

Elisile Starbrow |

“I will drink too,” says Elisile, “providing I can find anything palatable in this village.” She looks out the rain-streaked windows at the dingy town. “Doubtful perhaps. But there is always rainwater.” The elf steps out onto the street, no longer wearing the Medusa Mask, closes her eyes and raises her face to the heavens, letting the water wash away the grime and stink (perhaps imagined, as she has already bathed and washed her clothes) of her recent adventures.

The rain continues to pour down. Alwyn, Dravite and Hudak make the most of the limited carousing opportunities in Turtleback Ferry while Camlo and Illes haggle with the traders. Vethran tinkers back at the inn while Elisile stands out in the storm for inscrutable, elvish reasons.
The weather remains atrocious and unrelenting. The river is swollen and runs churning with foam and mud. The streets of the town are turned to knee-deep quagmires more suitable for swamp creatures than citizens. Waiting on word from Magnimar becomes a chore, and then a torment.
Five days after the storm begins, the temple to Erastil is closed to worshippers by Father Sheed, concerned that the already-subsiding tower might collapse as the ground underneath it becomes more saturated. The town buildings nearest the river become flooded and a few are washed away, and even those above the waterline are filled with buckets and pans to cath the leaks. It seems impossible to get dry, with everything seeming to be damp. Vomiting sickness begins to spread, affecting mostly the young and old.
A week after the champions of Fort Rannick have returned, they hear a frantic shout as they huddle by the fire in the inn, gazing blearily into the flames as they recover from the previous night.
"Come quickly! The waters are rising! Help the children!"

Elisile Starbrow |

It is not long before Elisile’s joy at the rain turns into melancholy. It is only through the counsel of her companions (and the reminder of mud – lots and lots of mud) that she does not strike out cross country to get away from this wet, muddy, sickly village.
The cry of children in trouble quickly shakes her out of her fugue. Grabbing for her bow and pack (in case of water monsters), and pulling the hood of her newly acquired cloak up above her rain soaked ears and hair, she heads out into the flooded streets to see what she can do to help.

Elisile Starbrow |

During the downtime:
Elsile sells her scroll of mirror image to the traders, getting 75gp. She buys a cloak of Elvenkind for 2500gp.
She spends two days of downtime scribing scrolls, creating a scroll of invisibility sphere at CL 5 and two scrolls of mage armour at CL 6. DCs are 10 and 11, she automatically makes the checks. It costs her 337gp and 5sp to create the scrolls.
She is willing to spend another day making scrolls if Vethren or Illes want to put in any orders from her spells known list.
She will also spend a few hours attempting to understand and scribe Dispel Magic into her spellbook from a scroll she owns. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21. The check succeeds, so she loses the scroll but adds the spell to her spellbook.

I'd take another scroll of fly if you don't mind. I've got one, but another might come in handy. Are there any scrolls you want from me since I've got 2-3 days of extra downtime left after making the pearl? D-Door or black tentacles maybe?

Elisile Starbrow |

Happy to do a scroll of fly or two for you in exchange for a black tentacles, but don’t you already have fly in your spellbook? Do you want haste or displacement or something instead?

Hey, look at that! So I do! Um... displacement would be awesome. Illusion is yet another one of my prohibited schools, but there might be a time when I really need 50% miss chance! :) I'll mark off 187gp, 50sp for the displacement and the black tentacles is going to cost you 350gp.

Can do.

Vethran Tallomane |

Can do.
Go ahead and assume Vethran reloaded Elisile's spell storing rapier with whatever spell you want from my repertoire at some point, too. Blindness/deafness is still an option, as is vampiric touch and several others. Take your pick, just note whatever my save DC and caster level are (DC 17 + spell level normal, or 19 + spell level for Evocation).

The village of Turtleback Ferry is drowning. The muddy, surging waters of the Skull River tear through the center of the community to fill Claybottom Lake with a terrible fury — many of the buildings that once sat comfortable on the river’s banks are already flooding and in danger of collapsing from the rushing water. "The dam! Skull Crossing must have burst! Run for your life!" yells a passer-by as he clutches his valuables and heads for higher water.
A group of children and a woman huddle aboard one of the old turtleshell ferryboats, the tiny flood-bashed vessel lodged up against a barn and threatening to capsize at any moment. A group of townsfolk are trying to throw a rope to them but so far without success. Beyond, the town’s church stands, its foundations already three feet deep in floodwaters and the scaffolding around the tower already collapsed and swept away by the torrent. Frantic movement is visible in the upstairs windows as townsfolk trapped inside rush about in a desperate attempt to save the holy scriptures artefacts and pray for deliverance.
Rise of the Runelords goes interactive. You are somewhere in the square outside the inn, since you have just rushed out of there. Please place yourselves and roll initiative. The orange square is the ferry with the trapped people. There are women and children to save - get to it!

Starting in AU-14. Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
"I'll take care of the ones in the ferry! See what you can do about the others!" Vethran cries out over the din of panic and rainfall.
Can I tell how many people are in the ferry?
EDIT: Crap. Seems that my memory of a particular spell is not accurate... my cunning plan maybe won't be as effective as I'd hoped. We'll see.

Camlo ?, and the space you suggested is about 50-55 feet from our starting point of running out of the Inn. 3 move actions might be too ambitious.

I think you used your perception mod for the init roll there. I was like holy hell! +12!
I did indeed, I really can't read today. It's a good job you people are there to correct me! Should be +5 making for 17 I wouldn't mind, but I previewed it twice!
