Ezreal Farlowe
Ezreal pulls one of the wands free from the holster up his left sleeve and activates it. A set of runes carved into the base of the wand briefly flare green and the mage steps close enough to touch the paladin.
MA: Retrieve Wand - RLW
SA: Activate Wand 5 hp (4+1)
5' step to D7
Janosz Frogshanks
Seeing that the demon-goblin was still trapped in the webbing, Janosz decides to switch weapons. After pulling out his bow, he grabs another vial of enchanted oil out of his potion belt, before ripping its cork out with his teeth and pouring the contents down into his quiver.
Move action: Sheathe flail and draw bow. Standard action: Apply oil of magic weapon on arrows. No movement.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Sheathing the flail is an action. Drawing the bow is another action. Taking out the vial of Oil of Magic Weapon is also an action. Applying the oil is also an action. So, which do you want for this round? Dropping the flail is a free action, if it helps.
EDIT: Ah, potion belt. OK, that deals with drawing the Oil.
Janosz Frogshanks
Dropping it is OK, too. Sheathing a weapon is a move action, and drawing a weapon can be done as part of that move action. The reason I'd prefer sheathing, rather than dropping it is that it provokes an AoO to pick up a weapon, which could be a problem if it gets free of the webbing. Having said that, dropping probably makes more sense than sheathing with two weapons of this size. Had it been two daggers, on the other hand...

I think it's safe to say the Barghest could have ripped through my web like tissue paper by now. It's just using it as cover for it's spell casting while it's boys tenderize us. I'll dismiss it once the other worg drops.which could be a problem if it gets free of the webbing

Fair enough. Flail on the floor, bow in hand.
Runzyl Steelsong
Drawing a sharp inward breath, Runzyl maneuvers his arms into a position that allows him to employ both ends of his weapon in rapid succession, shuffling along with his back on the floor as the blades snap at the worg's muzzle.
My brain is having a hard time figuring out how one would use a double weapon while prone but, the mechanics say I can do it... Attack #1: 18 + 8 + 2 (flank) - 4 (prone) = 24. Crit confirm: 18 + 8 + 2 - 4 = 24. Damage #1: 3 + 6 = 9 (18 if crit). Attack #2: 15 + 8 + 2 - 4 = 21. Damage #2: 2 + 3 = 5.

On his turn:
Ezreal Farlowe
The wand flares again when Ezreal burns another charge and passes it by touch to Lightbringer. "Okay get ready! I can dismiss the webbing or we can burn it out."
SA: RLW 2(1+1)
MA: Put the wand away
Gives us one round to drink a potion, heal up or whatever.

Okay, I need to clarify positions here before I act. This is what my map is telling me for locations:
Barghest: E/F-2/3
Janosz: B6
LB: F6
Rodergo: I7
Ezreal: D7
Trose: F7
Runzyl: I6Is that correct, Aubrey?
I have:
Barghest: E/F-2/3Janosz: B6
LB: F6
Rodergo: H8
Ezreal: D7
Trose: F7
Runzyl: I7
Runzyl Steelsong
Spring Attack!!!! Move from F8 to I7. Attack (w/flanking): 9 + 12 = 21. Damage: 2 + 8 = 10. Then, after attack, step to I6 (so that Trose will continue to flank). This movement provokes no AoOs. :) The wolf I'm attacking is still my Dodge target.
Just to correct, then, I did make this movement on the previous page because I have to move after I make my attack in order to benefit from Spring Attack. Rodergo would've had to make a 5' foot step to continue healing me (which doesn't really change much). To save complication, we can assume that Runzyl made a 5' back to I7 after he stood up just now and that Rod is where Aubrey lists him. I will adjust my map to confirm with Aubrey's now.
Ezreal Farlowe
Move me to E7. I was confused about LB being in F6 b/c I had that marked as one of the worg's squares. I don't know if the worg moved over at some point and I missed it or I had it wrong all along. Either way I need to be within reach range of him to have pulled off that last RLW. E7 will do it and I had a 5' step available to get there.
Lightbringer
Lightbringer looks sadly at Drim’s broken body, then nods a curt thanks to Ezreal. “Thankyou friend – but watch yourself, should the fiend break free of your spell.”
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
The barghest smiles, showing jagged, razor-edged fangs......
And then disappears, strands of web that gripped it flopping to the floor.
This goes before Rodergo's action. He may change his action from what was previously written or not, at his option.
Spellcraft check, DC 24:
Lightbringer
Lightbringer looks around, searching for any sign of where the fiend might have gone. Spot:6+1 = 7
“Ezreal,” he asks, as he readies himself to charge the creature should it re-appear. “Do you know what manner of magic it is capable of?”
Readies an action to charge the creature should it reappear.

From my kn planes check pages back-
"By Vol's withered tit! It can phase in and out of this plane! It's going to try to warp minds to get another ally if it gets the chance!"
Spellcraft: 16 (4+12) but I can pretty well pick what it did from what I already knew based on the earlier Kn Planes roll. That would be blink.
Lightbringer
“Warp minds … recall the Flamebearer’s circle of protection,” Lightbringer says in a low voice, nodding towards Runzyl on whom the spell is centred.
Janosz Frogshanks
"Hear me now, pack-brothers." As the demon disappears, Janosz turns and adresses his wolf minions. "This is your chance! Without his mongrel pups, the hell-goblin is weak and vulnerable." He points to the half-eaten worg carcass. "Look at you kin there, butchered and then spat out like a piece of gristle. He's treated y'all like crap, and now he's trying to flee. If we work together like a pack, we'll easily take him down. Afterwards, we'll all go our separate ways - with the demon's death, you'll get your hunting grounds back, while we go on to hunt giants on the other side of the mountains. Now, what do you say?"
I assume my little "animal diplomacy" spiel calls for a Wild Empathy check. Roll 17+3+5(action point)=25.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
A worg, old and grizzled, growls, "The beast is too strong. We will flee and find new hunting grounds while it is weak and its pups are dead." With this, it slinks for the exit, and after a short pause the others follow.
The inside of the palace/pavilion grows silent. It looks like the barghest has disappeared.
End of combat. 880xp each.
Assuming you search the place, you find 1,300gp in various denominations in the odd chest or looted money pouch. You also find, among the rubbish, a rather fine portrait of a stern-looking man in polished armour and a pouch containing three red and one green gem.

Remember, Appraise only really works well on items like these if you have skill ranks.
Ezreal Farlowe
Ezreal curses under his breath and dismisses the web with a flick of his hand. The mage stalks the room angrily for a few seconds trying to figure out how the fiend had made his escape before he stops suddenly remembering. "How badly hurt is Drim?"
