Since we pretty much have everyone here, can I get a rough idea of how each of you spend your time aboard ship? Keep to yourself, interact as much as possible, yadda yadda... I'm trying to get a feel for how long to keep the pre-start RP going.
Ilarian does want to socialise with the other passengers.

I must admit to being a little mystified by your skill choices as well. A rogue without Stealth or Acrobatics is rather unusual.

Haha, I accidentally put the rank into Knowledge (religion) instead of Stealth! And I was thinking of putting points into Acrobatics later.
For leather armour it says that I have a +2 bonus. Isn't that added into AC?
Also, what's my light mace's attack bonus? Is it correct?
Your other ACs are right, just your touch AC was wrong. +3 for dex and +1 for size should make it 14. Your overall AC should be 16 which is where you have it.
Your mace bonus was right, just your sling bonus was wrong. :)

okay, I added Ilarian's appearance to his sheet, and if it's alright, I changed his spell Charm Person for Mage Armor. I didn't think it would be a huge deal since we haven't gone into a situation where I need to cast anything, but the final say rests with you as always, Allan. BTW, how much would you say a copy of the Asmodean Monograph would cost in Infernal in Cheliax? I had 10 gold, but it can be changed if you like.

Two questions for you, oh mighty GM:
1. In relation to bomb-related discoveries like smoke bomb, poison bomb and stink bomb, do those do normal bomb damage as well as the smoke effect or not? I can see good arguments for either side and it does impact my choice of discoveries somewhat.
2. At one of the most recent stops, is there a place I can buy a pile of materials for scribing new formulae into my book? I figure since I somewhat unintentionally mentioned researching the Reduce Person formula I might as well add it to my list, but I didn't think ahead to include materials to do so.

1.) No they do not. The ability means that when you make a bomb you can choose to have it do the effect rather than regular damage. Discoveries that do something in addition to the damage specifically say it, such as madness bomb.

That's what I thought too, though Dispelling bomb's explicit "instead of deal damage" clause got me wondering about the others.

When you get back, I have a question for you, Allan. Previously when we played SD, my sorcerer had a familiar using the feat "Obtain Familiar" on page 81 of the book Complete Arcane. Will you allow me to use this feat? The prerequesites for it are Knowledge (arcana0 4 ranks, Arcane caster lvl 3rd. this was written for 3.5 edition.
