The goblins mouth opens in a toothy grin as it pulls a shortbow from its back and takes a shot at Vayga before stepping back into the darkness out of her range of vision.

With a thought Cormick sends the humaniod shaped light racing into the room below the stairs.

He then moves forward and steps into the side hallway and says, "Aerin, let light bend around you, go quickly before the spell expires."

He reaches out and touchs Aerin and then casts a spell. Everyone sees Aerin vanish from sight.

Free Action, move light up to AC25. It may startle them when the light rushes in, you never know.

Vayga starts moving forward, but quickly spots additional goblins as she does, so draws her bow as she continues. She takes a shot at the closest one. Farther back can be seen more goblins rousing themselves from a large pile of straw, looking around blearily trying to make sense of what is happening.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

The arrow takes the goblin in the gut who lets out a yelp of pain and staggers weakly, but doesn't go down. AC17

Cormick's dancing lights come hurtling down the corridor, the ghostly image of a man rushing towards the goblins.

Aerin, hidden from sight moves all the way forward to find two more goblins waiting around each corner, blades ready to strike at anyone approaching.

Amon will move up 30' and fire one arrow at the creature in the opening of the room.

Via message whispering the room has two exits and a bunch of goblins are gearing up to fight. I am not sure which to cover has no runner has gone to get back up.

Amon's arrow catches the next goblin in the shoulder as the group rushes forward.

The first goblin struck by Vayga staggers towards the passage at the west side of the room, though it is plain its movement is slowed from its injuries.

"Genyen twa nan yo, pa sèlman tinen an. Pote yo desann."

Goblin:

There's three of them, not just the dwarf. Bring them down.

The closest goblin retreats 10', launching another arrow at Vayga as it does so. While the others move out of the makeshift bedding drawing short bows of their own, all taking a bead on Vayga. She takes several glancing hits drawing blood on one cheek and her arms.

Back rows get a -2 as the front row is providing Vayga with softcover.
Attack: d20 + mods = 13, 21, 10, 15, 21, 19, 18, 20, 12 - 4 hits
Damage d4 + mods = 3, 2, 1, 4

AB15 is the one Amon wounded, AD11 is the one staggering away.

Watching the goblin retreating toward the door Vayga quickly steps diagonally AB23to get a clear shot at him. She fires once and then again.

If the first hit takes out the first goblin Vayga will take her second shot at the one Amon hit.

Cormick will move down the stairs and in to the larger hall.
Once there he will shift the dancing light forward.

Double Move to AB22
Free action, move the light to AC11. I am trying to keep the goblins in the light so we don't have the miss chance, and I think that will leave some of us in the dim light for a little bit of concealment.

Once Cormick has moved this light he quickly assess the situation, and whispers (via the message spell), One is getting away, over by the light, Amon can you shoot it.

Via message Spell: i'll block the west passage and get the straggler; have everyone move up the corridor so that the archer and the caster can cover the north passage.

Aerin will double move with weapon in hand to AD 9 (is the goblin tries to go trough that passage aerin will block him and get an Aoo)

via the message spell, Aerin say she has the goblin by the light, and we should ensure none escape via the north passage.


Cormick, the first half of your movement is in the dark (before you move the light - it only reaches to the bottom of the stairs). You can either move at half speed, or make a DC 10 acrobatics check, failing the acrobatics check means you fall prone - probably tumbling down the stairs - to which I will add a 1d3 non-lethal damage if you fail because of tumble down the stairs.

Vayga's first shot skitters off into the shadows, while the second is deflected by the goblins armor.

As Aerin slips past the goblins they give no indication or acknowledgement of her presence.

With input from the group Cindy drops her Stinking Cloud as Cormick recommends. This allows the group to circle to the North and avoid the cloud.


Amon's arrow takes the creature moving into the passage between the shoulders. It wheezes once then collapses to the ground unmoving.

Waiting on Cindy to cast stinking cloud or take another action, then the goblins are up.

Various fort saving throws vs DC 19 hidden as you can't see any of the goblins at this point

The noxious vapors from Cindy's spell quickly fill most of the room and the sound of retching can be heard within the cloud. One voice calls out though, "Asistan. Ale di Gogmurch nou yo ap anvayi. Geedra, Boorgub atak."

Goblin:

Wizards. Go and tell Gogmurch we are being invaded. Geedra, Boorgub attack.

A single pair of feet can be heard running up the northern passage.

The two goblins that have been waiting around the step out and forward, slicing at Cindy with their short blades.

Attacks d20 + mods = 13, 13

Goblins stumble out of the green vapors trying to get free of them, lining the east side of the room. One seems unaffected by the vapor and takes a shot at Cindy.

I have a general feel for the rooms layout after the Stinking Cloud, but if I can't do this just let me know.

Cormick moves up, drawing his rapier, to one of the goblins attacking Cindy, tumbling into a flank with Cindy if possible.

With a flourish he stabs at the goblin, "Ah Ha, my little goblin friend! I stab at thee!"

ok, Cormick will try to tumble through one of the goblins to try for the flank. I am not sure why I cannot see the map. I have tried on three devices so far. I got one more thing I can try in a couple of hours.

via message I think i hear goblin's trying to escape into the north tunnel. Since my side seems to be clear i will try to stop them

Aerin will still invisible will double move in order to pursue the goblin's heading into the north passage

Vayga's arrows take out one of the goblins as Cormick weaves past them to get into a flanking position, slashing the chest of one as he passes.

Amon launches another arrow at the last active goblin blocking the main passage.

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 3 = 7

Before it can move Cindy moves in and cuts it down.

Aerin heads into the north passage, passing several goblins at the mouth of the passage, most vomiting and staggering about. 25' in the passage comes to the top of a set of stairs leading down, but she can't see much beyond that as the light from Cormick's spell does not reach far enough.

The remaining goblins flee into the stinking cloud or head into the north passage, moving much more slowly as the magic induced illness hampers them.

Aerin you can either block the passage, taking an AoO against the first goblin, or press against the wall and let them pass by you, in which case all the goblins move another 15' on the map.

Via the message spell to all: They are trying to escape through the north passage. Aerin may need assistance, I am heading to her.

Cormick moves around the cloud to get to the other corridor. He is not trying to move cautiously from the goblins he is next to, hoping one of them will attack him and get a nasty surprise from his spell storing armor.

All the ones next to Cormick are bleeding out on the ground. So no AoO's against Cormick. Cindy will want to take another action since slumber isn't needed there.

@Amon, sorry about that miscommunication.

@Aerin, correct, there is one that is ahead of you, covered by the darkness at this point, then the whole line now blocked by you.

Aerin's surprise attack leaves a line of blood on the lead goblins face and it immediately tries to backpedal, but is unable to do so from the press of goblins coming in behind it. It manages to evade her next two attacks.

Cormick trying to block them into the passage finds his opponent unexpectedly agile despite its sickened state.

Vayga, Amon, and Cindy still have actions.
