Amon lands another two arrows in the shaman who howls in pain while Aerin's bladed scarf wounds the large brute.

Aerin's first attack definitely hits, I believe the second one misses but I don't have my notes where I'm posting from at the moment.

Vayga makes an effort to attack the brute from around the corner.
Attack: 1d20 + 13 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 13 - 4 = 27
Damage: 2d4 + 15 ⇒ (3, 3) + 15 = 21
Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 8 - 4 = 18
Damage: 2d4 + 15 ⇒ (4, 2) + 15 = 21

The shaman takes a step back from the passage, preventing Amon from taking another shot at him Z16. Teeth gritting from pain he weaves another spell.

Spellcraft DC 16:

He casts cure light wounds on himself.

Two of the goblins continue to aid the large brute.
Aid another d20 + mods = 12, 7

The third one attempts to stab Aerin but is unsuccessful.

With a shout the hobgoblin takes another swing at Aerin.

With a surprised look on its face the brutish hobgoblin collapses as Amon's first arrow strikes it. The undines second arrow drops a nearby goblin.

As the brute falls a canine like creature bursts into the room from the west passage. The creature is winking in and out of existence. It looks briefly at the fallen hobgoblin and its canine face contorts as it lets out of strange barking laugh.

Kn Planes DC 14:

This is a barghest. A creature from the outer planes that can take the form of either a wolf or a goblin. They come to the material plane to consume the bodies of good creatures until they grow sufficiently to evolve into a greater barghest. They are resistant to damage from non-magical weapons.

Kn Planes DC 19:
