How'd B2 get three claw attacks?
Lini frowns and begins asking the forest for help. Sacrificing remove disease for SNA3 to summon a celestial dire boar from AP 32. Probably going to make it appear in flanking with Terrill on B1, but we'll see. I think I can wait to decide until I finish casting?

That last one is supposed to be a bite. You can decide when you finish casting.
The nome starts casting while the kitty scratches the demon, though the demon takes very little damage and is still alive. The tentacle will pin Chjara.
Greater Grapple: 1d20 + 21 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 21 + 5 = 28
Constrict: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
It will squeeze the cleric as well.

Grappling Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Constrict: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Chjara can give me a fort save please. Otherwise Chjara and Terrill are up.

Calling on Desna to further bless his blade, Terrill swings at the injured demon on the ground, cutting it deeply. He continues the momentum of his blade and turns to face the other babau, a fierce grin on his face. "I haven't had the chance to kill so many demons since Nerosyan," he says mockingly. He then takes a startlingly fast step forward, whipping his blade sideways at the demon's neck.
Activate Bane (round 2/14 today), attack B2, then 5-foot step to L13 and attack B1.

Terrill Mayern

Now that it has acted anyone can make a dungeoneering check to identify it.
Does this mean Terrill can try again, since he can see the true nature of the thing now? If so, here's his check:
Knowledge (dungeoneering), Monster Lore: 1d20 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 3 = 16
| Pregenerated PFS Character |
A massive boar suddenly appears behind the tree-trunk-monster. It glances up and meets the little gnome's eyes across the battlefield, then gives a grunt and charges into the fray. Lini claps her hands together happily and motions toward the monster. "Friend-friend, you help too, okay?"
Celestial dire boar will appear in E19-F20 and perform a raging charge-gore (not actually a charge though 'cause Thunderhoof is in the way). Droogami will move to F10 and bite. Lini will double move to G18 assuming I can retcon having 5' stepped to H26 last round. Peeg will also Smite Efils.
Peeg CHARGE!!! (rage): 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 2 = 24

Friend-friend charges and sings his teeth into the creature but finds he cannot trip a tree stump. The dire-peeg also charges and smites the creature, but it is not an efil tree stump.
The creature will let go of Chjara before trying squeeze her again!

Thunderhoof

Chjara has really good AC. I count 45 damage total for her.
With another angry snort, Thunderhoof rears up and flattens the plant-monster underhoof.

Chjara

[sarcasm]You never said you dropped me, so it didn't happen![/sarcasm]
The tentacles assault Chjara multiple times, but fail to bring her down.
She channels again.
7d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 1, 6, 2, 3) = 17 - hitting all allies only.
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15
She then tries to dimensional step away, but fails to concentrate due to the great pain.

Thunderhoof
|
We're a four-man party averaged to level 8.5. The other table wanted to have six because this mod was so scary.
Thunderhoof snorts again and pokes the tentacled monster with a hoof before helping Chjara up with his horns.
| Pregenerated PFS Character |
Lini tilts her head and looks over at the big boar, giving it a nod and a pat on its thick front leg. "That'll do, Pig." she says. "That'll do." The boar snorts quietly and disappears without a trace.
Looking up, the gnome cocks her head at Chajra. "You're wounded. That's not good. Let me see if I can help."
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 8) + 3 = 18
How far are you down?

And they wanted to play in a slow and stately manner. Though there were some pretty optimized characters in that bunch. Not sure what they were so scared of.
Famous last words...

Terrill takes a closer look at their fallen opponents, then examines the scene for any indication of where the missing elf rangers might have gotten to.

Sounds like slackscuses to me.
Thunderhoof

Not to mention most parties don't have giant bulls that are immune to grab. Otherwise that would have messed up Thunderhoof.
Whose fault is that?!
Any sign of hostage elves?

As you walk along, Lini recognizes that some of the nearby plants aren't natural. In fact she believes them to be sporepods of a creature known as a Fungus Queen. Which means she is not surprise when one reveals itself to the group! This eerie creature has the upper body of a beautiful, pale green woman and the lower body of a pulsating mound of fungus.
Lini will get to go in the surprise round.

Mindfog
A bank of thin mist appears around you. Light blue. Everyone can give me a will save or take -10 to all will saves and wisdom checks while in the fog and for 2d6 rounds after you leave the fog. Lini is up in the surprise round. Terrill is up in round 1. If you want to know more about the Fungus Queen, another nature check is needed.
