You've been attacked by a Large zombie-ish thing. You're also being flanked. If you take a 5' step South and then make a full attack you won't be flanked anymore...and you *will* be flanking your assailant with Nyugusk.

Round 1

The mummified scarab seer rushes Nyugusk before he can react. A wave of horrible grave rot stench washes over the half-orc and Grommuk behind him. The smell is so bad that they immediately begin retching and vomiting involuntarily. The dead thing lunges forward to bite at Nyugusk with its needle-like teeth while he vomits. The alchemist reels back out of the way and avoids the bite.

The bronze clad warrior on the south wall of the chamber (olive) raises his tarnished longsword and slowly lurches over to Grommuk, who is too distracted by the sudden attack and his own involuntary sickness to make a strike at the thing.

The Qadiran warlord spots Cladissa in the doorway and charges her. His skeletal frame and ancient armor clatter as he raises the curved blade over his head. The undead warrior brings the scimitar down in a powerful overhand slice, cutting Cladissa's chest wide open.

The proto-kellid warchief roars. It's a dusty, cracked, horrible sound being forced through 10,000 year old vocal cords. He charges the short distance across the room to Grommuk, swinging his mammoth-tusk club with great force. The club cracks Grommuk over the back of the head, fracturing part of his skull.

Hearing combat being joined, Argor hustles forward, keeping a wary eye behind him into the other room (if that door is open). When he reaches the doorway, he peers in, reaching and taking the scroll from the invisible force carrying it for him. "Close that door then return," he commands the unseen servant, and the door to the room behind the group appears to close of its own volition.

Seeing the huge crack to the skull that Grommuk received, Cladissa slips away from her attacker and moves to assist him. While the pain from her wound burned fiercely, she knew she had to keep the hulking orc up and fighting if they were to prevail.

Hrimnagel is surprised. Must have missed the trigger to animate the exhibits, he thinks, rising from his aura of shadows. He fires an arrow point blank into the undead Qadiran's chest. The shaft pierces the skeletal warlord's chainmail, but mostly just rattles around in his bony frame before falling to the floor after having done very little damage.

As the mummy approaches, Nyugusk feels his dinner coming up and out, splattering on his boots and the floor. Willing himself to overcome the stench, he rips into the undead monstrosity with claw and tusk. He grabs the thing by the ribs in a bear hug and bites into its throat, rending it with his claws. The whole mummy tears apart, its dry flesh cracking as it falls to the floor.

Grommuk steps back away from the bronze legionnaire and puts the Proto-Kellid between him and Nyugusk. He balls up his fists together into a giant hammer and swings them baseball style at the Proto-Kellid's jaw. His hammer fist impacts the giant skeleton like a wrecking ball, demolishing both its clavicles, lower mandible and most of its upper ribs. The undead monster reels, but does not fall.

End of Round 1
--------------------------------
Begin Round 2

The bronze legionnaire steps up to Grommuk and swings his longsword at the orc in a two handed blow. The ancient blade isn't as sharp as it once was, and bounces off Grommuk's armor and thick hide.

The Qadiran whirls to swing his silvered scimitar at Hrimnagel. The ancient general's aim is true, striking Hrimnagel right in the forehead. The deep-gnome's lightning fast reflexes make it a shallow gash rather than a skull opener, but Hrimnagels vision still fills with blood and his brain with pain.

The proto-kellid steps away from Nyugusk and levels another heavy club swing at Grommuk. The primitive warrior must have been extremely formidable in life for his bones to make such a plaything of the mighty Grommuk. His mammoth tusk club blasts through the orc's defenses for the second time, smashing him directly in the face. Grommuk's head snaps back with an audible crack of whiplash. When the Proto-Kellid withdraws his club, Grommuk's face is left a bloody ruinous landscape of purple flesh, red bloodly rivers, and white mounds of crushed bone. Miraculously, his mask remains in place.

Could I active Maneuver Mastery as a Swift Action to gain Toughness for the time being, haha? Would buy me a 3 hp buffer.

Actually, Toughness isn't a Combat Feat, so I couldn't do that.

In the future if you go into negatives, keep in mind passing out and rolling to stabilize is always an option. It's really dangerous to keep yourself as a potential target when you're at negative HP. I suppose one way this could be prevented with only a single hero point is Argor burning one to use infernal healing in round 2. Then Grommuk would only be at -10. Otherwise it will cost 2 hero points from someone to stabilize him at -12 and reverse death.

Seeing the orc go down, Argor curses. He shifts the wand in his hand.

"Nyugusk, Hrim, your weapons will be most effective against that one!" pointing to the zombie-like bronze warrior. Turning to Cladissa, he says, "We need blunt or energy weapons to bring the others down. Help me break them, but first help me save Grommuk, again!"

Help me break them, but first help me save Grommuk, again!" He staps back from the undead, and shifting the wand to his off hand, flings a dart of acid at the bronze clad legionnaire. Argor's aim is quite poor, and he manages to melt part of the ceiling instead.

Seeing his friends get pummeled and fall, Hrimnagel calls on Count Ranalc's power. He steps back and cures Grommuk. The Qadiran skeleton swings at him, and misses.

With a mouth full of Proto-Kellid, Nyug calls out a muffled ”Nooo!!” as Grommuk falls. The transmogrified half-orc continues to bite and claw at it. He slams his tusky maw down on its spinal cord, shattering it with a dusty crunch. Nyugusk then moves to engage the Bronzed warrior.

Relieved to see the Proto-Kellid drop, Nyugusk wastes no time in ripping into the bronze warrior, though the need to retch again weakens his blows somewhat. Nyugusk manages to get one claw past the Legoinnaire's armor and slashes its rotten leg wide open.

Hrimnagel calls on Count Ranalc's power again. He again steps back and cures Grommuk. The supine orc's eyes flutter open in the bloody wreck of his face.

Cladissa continues to keep the misfortune against the undead, this time targeting the animated remains of the Qadiran warrior, and then bursting into a maddened cackle to extend the effects.

End of Round 4

Begin Round 5

The Legionnaire whirls and swings its bronze longsword at Nyugusk. A lack of skill on the undead's part combines with Cladissa's curse to make the blow laughable.

The Qadiran continues to follow Hrimnagel, slashing at him again. The gnome dodges easily out of the way with a shadowy grin.

Argor scowls at the resilience of these undead. Not that anyone could tell. He then launches another dart of acid through the air, again unable to connect with the monstrosities assaulting them.

He then reaches down and retrieves the scroll from the unseen force next to him and commands, "Pick up the wand."

The wand then lifts itself from the floor, and levitates near the mage, awaiting his retrieval should he need it.

Steeling himself against the sickening feeling in his gut, he continues his assault on the undead legionairre, throwing himself onto it with tooth and claw. The ancient warrior's thick bronze armor protects him from the half-orc's savage assault.

Seeing Grommuk conscious, Hrimnagel steps away from the arcanists attempting to draw the attention of Qadiran. He draws his morningstar and swings. To his great surprise the cold iron business end connects with skeleton. The blow doesn't do much damage, but it does draw the attention of the bony warlord.

Round 6

Nyugusk continues inching left until he’s got the Legionairre sandwiched between himself and the still-prone-but-awake Grommuk. Once he has the Legionairre cramped between them he leaps onto the undead warrior, his ample tusks rip an arm right from the socket while his left claw spills dry shriveled guts onto the museum floor.

That'll handle Brozne.

Round 5

Seeing the new whirling dervish down another enemy, Hrimnagel dances back away toward the arcanists preparing to flank the Qadiran. He swings his morningstar again. This time his shadowy morningstar passes right through the skeleton.

Hrim - That hits. You don't need to roll concealment on other people. Just them on you. Your minimum damage is enough to kill it.

Hrimnagel swings his morningstar and downs the last skeleton. Another corpse here refused to answer the Tik Taan’s call. A Mwangi warrior, his body preserved in hot mud, stands against the wall of the exhibit hall. In his hands he clutches a bone-handled kukri knife with a jade-carved blade.

Knowledge (history or local) DC 20:
This warrior was a member of the Jambala Jaeg tribe—a people who once vehemently opposed Angazhan’s followers in the Mwangi Expanse and were wiped out for their opposition.

You're right, I reread it. Hrim is not affected by concealment, but I knew there was a reason I had to avoid melee. His melee attacks only deal half damage.

Shadow Form:
(Su) (2 points) The eidolon's body becomes shadowy and more indistinct. This shadow form grants the eidolon constant concealment (20% miss chance), and its melee attacks affect incorporeal creatures as if it had the ghost touch weapon property. The eidolon's melee attacks deal only half damage to corporeal creatures. Source: Advanced Race Guide

Yes, I'm well aware of that. I halved your damage last round, and even halved you do a minimum of 1 damage. Which is how many HP he had left.

As Grommuk sits up, Nyugusk slaps him on the shoulder and (shaking his head) says "Özünüz, əmisi oğlu həlak almaq üçün çalışırıq edirsiniz? Əgər zərər etdiyiniz zaman başqası bir növbəsində almaq bilər ki, geri addım."

Ill use another charge to put Grommuk to full. Don't wanna burn through tons of charges, but if someone is still injured we can patch em up.

That will require waiting about a minute and a half, but that's fine.
