Ulfr allows it enough breath to speak by squeezing it's arms into it's side with his often unnoticed but profoundly thunderous thighs.
The mite gasps for air as Ulfr loosens his posture.
Then it points down the hallway to the west, its breathing so rapid that it appears to be on the verge of passing out.
"Let's go." Ada starts to head in the direction the mite pointed.
Zev follows in behind Ada.
Thanks! You've been so helpful. Ulfr says in a creepily pleasant tone before back-handing the little thing and knocking it out cold. He stands and follows the others.
Azura spares a glance to the mite, then shrugs and follows along with the team.
With a snicker of amusement, Ryn joins the others heading down the hallway with her shield at the ready.
The party gathers and ventures forth, following the corridor to a spiral staircase that descends deeper into the Crow. Just how deep does this structure go?
Curiously, the walls of the Crow begin to dry up the deeper the party goes into it. It's entirely likely that they're underneath Magnimar's harbour by now. To the south stretches a long, dark, stone corridor, and to the west is what appears to be an ancient cellblock, stretching to the north, south and west.
West. Weapons out. Ulfr leads the way.
The cellblock ahead features over a dozen cells with iron doors, as well as several dog-sized yellow spiders that don't take too kindly to armed adventurers barging in on them. They rear up and get ready to bite.
Ada waits for the area in front of her to clear. "More spiders?
Ulfr shouts at battle cry with club raised and launches into a battle cant of the mammoth lords!
Azura resumes her haunting melody of inspiration.
Feeling the familiar invigorating rush of the music, Ryn explodes into action kicking off the wall in a stunningly elegant movement that seems part dance- part tumble past Ulfr, that sends her racing toward one of the spiders, her dazzling pirouette resulting in a powerful shield blow that just misses the center of the spider's head.
Growling, Zel rushes up beside Ryn to strike at the spider.
Ryn's shield strike comes down hard on the spider with a *CRUNCH*, but somehow it's still standing. It's a mistake that Zev's blade promptly corrects--to such a degree that the spider now lies in pieces.
The spiders swarm Ryn & Zev...
One spider manages to get past Zev's guard and bite him right on the shin.
Azura continues her melody while she steps out and stabs with her rapier to help Ryn.
Ulfr's cry hangs in the air as he goes to work.
But the swing is short.
Azura scores a good poke on one spider threatening Ryn.
Taking a moment to assess the situation, Ryn sets herself up to take advantage of any openings, before striking out again at the spider she previously hit, her split attention costing her.
Ryn's shield bash narrowly misses the spider.
Getting bit again Zev yelps and frantically starts hacking at the spider.
Zev easily hacks a spider apart.
Reaching a point where she could see what was happening Saersha cast a spell and sent her staple glob of acid at one of the spiders.
Unfortunately the press of people and the need to avoid her companions caused her spell to splash into the ceiling well behind the fighting.
Ada steps up carefully, and stabs at the spider in front of Zev.
Ada's strike goes wide.
The spiders bite again, with the wounded one biting at Azura this time.
None of the spiders manage to land a bite this time, though the one biting at Ryn almost gets past her shield.
Ryn hisses a curse, as she launches a pair of strikes that the spider manages to easily evade.
Ulfr uses the spiders distraction to his own benefit. His own messy, nasty, squishy benefit.
Ulfr smashes a spider to bits.
Azura dances back from the spider that bites at her, then stabs forward and down with her rapier for an excellent hit.
Azura skewers the spider and outright kills it.
"Nice form Azura!" Ryn says with a grin as she keeps her shield up to keep the other spider at bay. "Damn Ulrfr! We've got this guys!"
Saersha chanted and sent another glob of acid out at the nearest of the spiders in the hopes of hitting it.
Saersha manages to splash the last spider with some acid.
Zev tries to get a swing at the remaining spider.
Zev’s weakness catches up to him again, causing him to miss.
Ada steps up and stabs at the last spider. She misses terribly.
The spider goes for one last chomp.
And makes it count, biting her in the calf.

Azura scowls and moves to stab the spider in retribution for its bite on Ryn!
"You'll regret that, vermin!" she says. Then she chuckles and says, "Probably only for about six seconds, though."
Azura’s stab almost kills it outright.
Ulfr, who is just winding up to splatter the thing, smiles and congratulates her. Well done! Now let's go find where the kingly version of these things is...
He seems very keen to get this whole business over with.
Letting out a cry of pain, Ryn feels the virulent poison flow through her, her blows less accurate, even as Azura's vengeance brings a smile to her lips.
Ulfr steps up and finishes the job with brutal efficiency.
Ulfr splatters the spider with ease.
The grin of satisfaction on Ryn's face fades as she shudders at the poison continuing to course through her. "Uhm...I don't feel so good." she says looking at Azura in distress.
