I read that Saersha's player is having some trouble with accessibility and is thus much more limited in posting. I'm sure she'll be along in a bit.

Good question. The rules don't specify that the croak is sonic or mind-affecting or whatnot, so in theory it works even on someone who's asleep. It's a supernatural power so it's more like a magical fear effect than just a scary noise.

Given these points I'd say that it does work on someone who's sleeping, but it also presumably wakes you up (as it says that it's super loud). For our current conflict of course that doesn't really matter as everyone's already awake due to the fighting. :)

It only has a 30' range though so it can't hit everyone in the camp. Some folks are just too far away.
