Hello all!
I'm recruiting up to 6 players to run through a play-by-post version of the Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild adventure We Be Goblins! (all four scenarios)
I chose this as my first public game because I was lucky enough to be one of the people who designed it, so I'm a little proud. :)

This will use a play-by-post format just like the one that Hawkmoon and I used to run the Card Game tables of the Cosmic Captive special AS SEEN HERE. If you haven't played PbP card game with me before, please go check that out before throwing your hat in the ring and make sure you're okay with the format.

In order to play:
1. You will need to own one of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Character Decks. I won't be providing card text for your entire deck, so you'll need to be able to refer to the cards for your posts. You can use any character from any character deck, but the goblin characters from Goblins Burn! and Goblins Fight! might have a little bit more fun.
2. You'll need to be able to post at least once a day on weekdays. More often than that is preferable, as we've been able to get through an entire scenario in a day or two during playtests when everyone is available during the day.

I will provide a copy of a Google Sheet that you may use to organize your deck if you wish, and I can give you a little tutorial on it.

Just post below if you're interested, and I'll be taking the first six players to post. Looking forward to running the games for you guys!

Grand Lodge

I would like to give this a shot Urgraz looks like he would fit right in with some goblin mayhem

Count me in!

I'll definitely be playing a goblin of some kind - possibly Ranzak.

Grand Archive

I'd like to play too please

Excellent! You're all in. We'll give until the end of the week to fill the table, and probably start at the beginning of next week.

Mememe!

I've got a Ranger deck and a couple of other ones (I'll have to check).

I've not played the card game online before but I'm very eager to try.

Sovereign Court

I'd like to join please!

If there is still room I also would like to join!

Okay that gets us to six players! Recruitment closed.

I'll be sending each of you a PM asking for your e-mail address so that I can share the Google sheet with you. It's relatively straightforward, but I'll include some instructions as well. You can feel free to use it or not, it's up to you.

I'll also link to the discussion and gameplay threads later today, and get the scenario all set up.

Looking forward to playing with you guys!

Oh also, please let me know which characters you're planning to play! This will be a tier 1 game, so you can start with brand-new characters, or any that haven't tiered up past tier 2 so far.

Hi cartmanbeck!

First question: I have the goblin promo Tup, is he legal for play? And if he is, which class deck should I use?

This will be my first ACG session, I have played through both Rise of the Runelords and part of Skulls and Shackles.

I'm playing Mogmurch

OK. It looks like we've got:

Urgraz (dwarf anti-paladin, Hell's Vengeance 1)
Ranzak (goblin raider, Goblins Fight!)
(goblin ???)
(???, Ranger?)
Mogmurch (goblin arsonist, Goblins Burn!)
Tup (goblin pyromaniac, Goblins Burn!)

I'm hoping Wendy-Ann will choose Poog or Zibini, rather than Reta;
that will give us another divine caster besides Urgraz. Other than
that, though, it looks as though we've got most things covered.
(apart from two of the party apparently not being goblins :-)

Disclaimer: Wendy-Ann and I have played through this adventure with
the canonical four-goblin party (Reta, Chuffy, Mogmurch and Poog).
We found our biggest problem then was the shortage of healing.
But that was a four-player game; with six players the pacing and
strategy will almost certainly be different.

One other point - if anyone is bringing a Tier 2 character they
should have played at most two scenarios at Tier 2, or else they
will be forced to tier up before the end of the adventure.

Hey, I'll play a goblin. Just, someone has to buy me a goblin deck first. ;-)

"I iz GOBLIN

If you say so ...

I iz Poog, no one say different, I say Zarongel is best, no one say different. Must now go find weapons and spells

It occurred to me last night that I have the Tup and Ekkie (and Reepazo, though I don't think that's been added to the usable characters) promo cards. So I could play a goblin if that's what y'all would like to do.

I can track down one of the goblin class decks this weekend and pregen it. I'm not especially committed to my Ranger for this.

Silver Crusade RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16

I don't think there's anything wrong with playing a Ranger, especially since you all transform into goblins when you start anyway. If you played Harsk, you'd be playing a goblin version of Harsk. :)

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Ooh! I like that! :-)

According to this post, Reepazo is playable using the "Goblins Burn" deck.

Furthermore, she's also offered as one of the choices when you go to register a Card Game character.

But, as Tyler says, everybody transforms into goblins anyway, so there's no need to limit your choices to characters that start out as goblins. Pick something you want to play. My throwaway comment about non-goblins was definitely a tongue in cheek remark, not something to be taken seriously.

I have decided not to purchase a new class desk. I will play a goblin version of Zarlova

Poog go Poof!!!! Enter FIRE, Tup and Deliverance!!

Tup bring some Charisma into this sorry looking bunch

Silver Crusade RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16

For deliverance, add him to your deck list as if he were any other card, and add him to your hand after drawing up at the start of the game (he doesn't count toward your hand limit at the beginning, though he will on subsequent turns.)
