I would be interested in GMing a 5e game (I would be able to provide online rules if anyone is interested), Main classes+UA Classes (Replacing PHB with unearthed arcana Ranger)
The module is the Tomb of Annihalation. Unless he changes things, it’s set in the rainforest jungle peninsula of Chult. A death curse has settled over the land and you will need to brave dangerous perils to solve its mystery.
You are hired by a Ex-Adventurer and Merchant named Syndra Silvane, who years ago died and was raised from the dead. About 20 days ago she began to wither away. She talked to a temple, but they said it was wide spread, and no spell could cure it. She talked to the Harpers, and they told her that it was caused by a necromatic device called the soul monger, and they only knew the name and that it was in the jungle of chult
For Character Creation You may use whatever method you want for generating ability scores, and if you want to play a third party sub/class or background than send it to me and i might clear it
Ok, also for your character post an around 250 word (More or less idk) interaction with an NPC (Could be combat, could be RPing, whatever), and a little bit about your backstory once you have that fleshed out
How long will this campaign be intended to run, either in terms of levels or months? I've always thought ToA sounded like a one-shot but don't know hardly anything about it besides a few major cultural references.
Alright. I am mostly finished. I wrote a brief history. I am not sure how realistic it is to get from where he started to get to Chult but that can be hashed out or overlooked.
Ironically apparently there is another Orym out there hence I needed to add something to my character's name to get it up so between the red hair and red Firbolg nose I went with Red.
Can we assume we have a summons or have heard of Syndra Silvane or are we just in town.
We are going to start in Baldur's gate, and you are summoned to her office. you all can discuss whether or not you knew each other beforehand if yall want
Orym looked up the cobbled street trying to find the 'signs' these people seem to go for. He will miss some of his friends from the ship but it was good to be on solid ground. He noticed a woman with a basket of what looked to be some sort of melon. He cleared his throat which had loud resonance to it. He spoke in gentle baritone to the woman, "P pardons little one I see you have fruit. Are you how do you say selling it?" He smiled broadly trying not to be threatening. These little people are often put off by my size."3 copper pieces? I have one of these ones the color of sunlight on deep water." He rubbed a smudge off the silver piece offering it low so the woman could take it. She seems pleased by that. He smiles when she hands him 2 melons. [b]"Thank you. Say can you tell me is this the way to the merchant house Silvane?" He made his way a few blocks down. Apparently not the way. He cut open the melon and ate a few bites as he walked. Passing a begger he noted that others avoided the man so he offered the skinny man his second melon. "For you little one. I cannot bare to see one with out when I have gathered more than enough."

As far as summoning, I tend to think of Hiro as a loaner. I think it might be most fitting for him to not know the rest of the party beforehand and be summoned separately.
