Villamor Koth as a Samurai, what do you think?

I was playing around with the idea of making Villamor Koth, in War of the River Kings, and I liked what I came up with. I believe I may just make it happen , Greater Resolve and Honorable Stand definitely has great potential. What do you mean no crit!? heh heh:) Ray of exhaustion which they use often would not be vital.

Would you care to share his stat block? I was just planning out my PCs first interaction with him given that we'll be starting WotRK in a couple days. I was just thinking to myself that I didn't really like the fact that he was a barbarian but didn't really want to do an overhaul. Sounds like you might have just what I'm looking for that would feel more like the king's champion rather than "just" a brute. I guess I have something more like a cross between "The Hound" and "The Mountain" in mind (a la Song of Ice and Fire).

I'll post my version of him tomorrow.

Nice. I replaced Koth with an antagonist better suited for what I have in mind as Irovetti's bodyguard.

I didn't want to use an "unofficial" class though. The samurai (reskinned) is an excellent idea - kudos!

Is it tomorrow yet? :)

I'm still curious about this and would be happy to discuss the build once you post it. No pressure though - I know life gets in the way.

Tem, I'm still working on Koth.I used 20 point build because my peeps got 25. I also used pc wealth and made him 16th lvl. My peeps are almost 6th lvl and they just finished Stolen Lands. I run a lot of added material. So I'm confident that they will be at least 16th lvl by then. So far he looks real fun to play. His horse is even tough lol. I'm running through different feat builds to maximise him. I believe I will start letting them here about Irovetti's awesome champion from a far away land.

I'd "re-skin" him as a "knight errant" using the samurai build while leaving him as a Tiger Lord Bad-a$$. No need to give anything away after all. :)
