Looking for more shots from a crossbow

Advice

Assuming a free action for reload (repeating crossbow), a BAB of +6, and the ability to reload two crossbows at once (a little homebrew stuff), I'm trying to get more attacks. I know about TWF, Rapid Shot, and the Speed enhancement/haste. Are there any other ways, with no open feats (but I CAN use the Training enhancement), are there any OTHER ways to get more attacks per round?

Not really what you are asking, but snapshot would let you make AoOs.

Dark Archive

You could get a familiar, like a monkey or something that knows and can reload a weapon. It's legal, a helper can reload a weapon like that, with proper feats training and skill. As a crossbow is related to a siege weapon and it is possible for a familiar to hand or do things for their master. Thereby letting you fire two-handed without having to reload yourself, though having the feat yourself would be a help, as for training purposes and skill aid from another (sleight of hand could be a help for this possibly) Its an ide anyways and it doesnt break any of the rules, actually it follows them for cohorts, companions, familiars and aid from others.

You're gonna need to invest something to get more attacks. If you have an Animal Companion/Cohort/Ally, you could make them take Target of Opportunity. Then grant this feat to yourself with a Ring of Tactical Precision. If your "friend" lacks fingers, you'll also need a Hand of Glory.

Remember that Target of Opportunity requires your ally to hit the enemy, so if they're lacking in Attack Bonuses just make them target the opponent's Touch AC.

Sovereign Court

Alchemist eventually gets another arm, I dont think it can attack but it could reload for you

Well, I'm mostly looking for extra attacks per round. I've got the reloads covered. Repeating crossbows are a free action, either way, and I'm using magic clips that hold 25 bolts each (home made, but based off that magic quiver).

Basically, what I'm trying to do is use a crossbow as a carpet bomb, thanks to Explosive Runes. I just wanna lay out more explosive crossbow bolts per round. Those ARE all interesting ideas in their own rights, just not for specific application.

Interesting. Are you tying marquees to the bolts or something?

You mean paper tags, ah lah Naruto paperbombs? No. Bolts can bear writing (via engraving, mostly, but it's still writing), so my GM has ruled that they are a valid direct target for Explosive (and, by extension, Incendiary) Runes. Breaking the item bearing a magical trap sets it off, so shooting the ground would break the bolts (I'm hitting my actual target, which results in 100% chance to break standard bolts), discharging the Runes.

That sounds more like Fire Trap or Glyph of Warding than Explosive Runes, but whatever: you GM has ruled!

The Crossbow Mastery Feat might help?

Endless Ammunition Spell?

Maybe there is something like Mirror Strike for Crossbows?

An Abundant Ammunition Dweomer that is put on the crossbow itself?

Ki Pool extra attacks?

Stalker levels, so Ki Pool doesn't grant me extra attacks. =/

Endless Ammunition and Crossbow Mastery would help for a Heavy or Great Xbow, but not a light or repeating... they're a free action as long as you have rounds in the clip. And I don't thiiiiink there's anything that would do what Mirror Strike does for a crossbow, and even if there was, 7d6 is a good number... (7d6)/2 is not so nice. Not sure I could afford that kind of damage depletion. Worst case, I'll live with the four attacks. That's still a LOT of attacks, when you consider that the clips we worked out can hold 25 bolts each.
