What's good, friends?

One of my games folded to player attrition. I'm only running a few now, so I thought I might tackle one more.

There are several things I might want to do.

1- Pathfinder.
This would be an Adventure Path, most likely either Hell's Rebels, Legacy of Fire or Strange Aeons. If I did Strange Aeons, I might go with a very small group, only two people, and make it a gestalt game.

2- Superhero game.
I'm mutable as to system in this but I'm leaning towards Fate Core with their superhero add-on rules (though I might be able to be persuaded for M&M). There are a couple of games I would want to run in this; either one where you are already established superheroes and are active in society but deal more with social improvement and rescue missions than punching supervillains, or as a group of college-aged potential heroes attending a prestigious training academy and hoping to become licensed as full-fledged Heroes.

3- Legend of the Five Rings.
It would be 4th Edition, and an alternate version of the Second Day of Thunder and Scorpion Clan Coup.

4- 5th Edition.
Storm King's Thunder. 'Nuff said.

5- Scion.
I'd be running The Ragnarok Gambit, the campaign laid out in the ST section of the three main books (so don't read that part, kay?).

Please chime in with any interest and indicate which TWO of those you would most like to see a game created for.

Always interested.

Choice 1- College-aged Supers. That sounds unique and interesting.

Choice 2- Pathfinder, either Strange Aeons or LoF.

I am mostly interested in Pathfinder and 5th edition. I love the L5R setting, but it is incredibly intimidating to actually roleplay in.

What is it about the setting that you find intimidating, out of curiosity?

I cast a vote for option 1 or option 4. I've only played homebrew 5e campaigns so it would be cool to actually participate in a published AP

I would throw my hat in the ring for option 1 or 4 too. I am much more comfortable with pathfinder the 5e but I've done some reading up on it.

1-Pathfinder. Though, as much as I like gestalt, Strange Aeons just has no appeal to me. Both of the other two I've been wanting to play for a while.

2-Scion. Seems a really interesting setting and system, but I've never had a chance to give it a try.

1- Hells Rebels
2- Legacy of Fire

1. Hell's Rebels
2. M&M

Dark Archive

1. Any adventure path, but I've been sniffing around for a Hell's Rebels game for a long time.

Sovereign Court

Might be fun to tool around Rokugan, or play some 5e. Rokugan probably gets less love around here.

It's easy to play L5R even if you don't know the lore and culture. Play a member of the Unicorn clan, and anytime you make a faux pas, just say "Well I'm a Unicorn, I'm not supposed to know that." (Even if you are.)

Ah, the Unicorn. Rokugan's red-headed stepchild.

Sovereign Court

DM Ragnarok:
John told me the story of the creation of the Unicorn clan - he says that their invention was a result of Zinser saying "We need something to appeal to the female demographic. Unicorns - girl gamers love unicorns, right? And they like purple. Done."

Jesse Heinig:
*headdesk*
Although speaking of John I wonder who all might be interested in some 7th Sea now that I'm thinking on it...

2 and 1

7th sea! That gets my vote in a nanosecond. Amazingly fun game. I have avoided the campaigns they have out there in hopes to play through one of them eventually.

2 - M&M, either idea.

Much as I love Scion, I'd wait until they release the 2e rules. We played from hero most of the way through demigod and the game only survived through extensive houseruling.

Any chance of Skulls and Shackles or Ironfang Invasion. I am dying to play those two.

2. M&M - either established supers or up & comers works well.

4. 5E and some jotun bashing :)

Dark Archive

2, 3, 5 for me please :-)

Option 4 is my vote for what it matters

Dark Archive

Scion or L5R, followed by 5E.

Caveat: I've read through the Scion adventure path thingy as I was intending on running it IRL. Can't remember that much of it, but thought you should know (we ended up running with the one from the Norse book instead in the end).

Also where did 7th Sea get mentioned?

2 or 5.

If you did 5, would you be using the pregen characters or allowing players to make their own characters? I've had an idea for a scion of Sedna that would require some house ruling/homebrew
