I'm looking forward to it! Disney has been doing a great job lately, and this doesn't look any different. The kids' voices were a little odd in just the trailer, but that always goes away after an episode or so. Distinct personalities on the triplets and Donald being an important character are nice, and I love Scrooge as a character.

Kind of liking the initial impression I am getting from Webby and the Triplets. Much more individualized and distinct. Very much in favor of Webby being more active and adventurous.
For Easter Egg hunters, Take a clase look at the scene where she is asking about the Evil Tripplet. Top Right Corner hanging on the wall (welll, more impailed really)
also kind of looking forward to seeing a new versions of Magica De Spell and the Beagle Bros.

Also, I think you can see glimpse of Flintheart Glomgold (My all time favorite villain from any Donald Duck media, seriously that guy is serious business) walking towards giant red ruby while Scrooge and boys watch from above. He seems way bigger, which looks like fun redesign.
Hmm. I think he still is scottish like Scrooge. Too bad, I always liked that he is afrikaner in the comics.

I thought that comics-Glomgold was an Afrikaner immigrant from Scotland?

Glomgold is originally (i.e. the comics) Afrikaner. However, when they came to making the TV series, it was decided to change him to being Scottish due to the politics of the time (the US had sanctions against South Africa at the time of production as SA was still under Apartheid then).
So...
Yeah. Nothing to do with Glomgold's backstory really. Just RW politics, etc.

Every time I see Glomgold used in stories I just get excited. He is a great villain, perfect nemesis for Scrooge. Especially in Don Rosa stories, where he is utterly ruthless. Both started from nothing, gained wealth and power due their own skills. But Glomgold has no moral obligations about fair play or anything like that. And those who have read Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck know that Scrooge did too some questionable stuff to get where he is now. Imagine then what Glomgold did.
