Stacking Unchained Rage with other Rage

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Can we get some clarification on how an Unchained Barbarian's Rage is supposed to stack or interact with other Rage effects? I'm specifically thinking about a Skald's Raging Song, but as an example:
Can a Bloodrager 1/Unchained Barbarian 1 enter both rages (for +2 Hit/damage, temp HP, and +4 Str/Con)?

I really like the Unchained Rage, but I also really like the ACG classes, so it would be nice to get some guidance on how to use them together.

The obvious change would to be use one or the other for all instances of rage. Since Unchained is an optional system, there probably wont be an official answer on this, but thats how I see it. Or let each player decide if they want the unchained rage or original rage, but I would never let a player apply both types of rage simultaneously.

I would assume both are morale bonuses, and therefore don't stack.

Of course, I haven't seen Unchained, so.

"It's optional, so GM's call" is probably the right answer, but it's sounding like they're going to use the Unchained classes in PFS, so having some real rules for how these are supposed to interact would be nice.

Skald's Raging Song giving Unchained Rage (with temp HP) would be sweet.

I believe that the answer is already in the Raging Song description. You can either take the benefits of RS, or your own Rage.

They're morale bonuses to different things, so if a GM actually let you have both up at once, they would stack. The new one adds directly to attack/damage/temp HP, instead of affecting stats.

If nothing else though, I'd assume you'd be prevented from recursive raging. No rage while you rage, any more than a normal Barbarian can enter both his own rage and a Skald's rage simultaneously.

RS says you get the Str/Con/Will/AC of your own rage, so it doesn't activate Unchained Rage. :(

Unchained Rage bonuses aren't Morale, so they should stack fine (in addition to being attack/damage instead of Str bonuses.)

RAW BloodRage plus unchained rage stack, I personally think they missed this little loophole and I expect some errata on it soon.
As a GM I would try to dissuade players from doing this and here is how: "RAW they stack as they are different bonuses, though coming out of it would leave you exhausted along with all it's penalties as there is no entry in any of the books that say that when a Barbarian is exhausted from using two types of rage it only lasts as long as the fatigue would have. So unless you have enough rage left to rage through the fatigue of the first, make sure your cleric has restoration prepared. Also, when the first rage ends, you are already fatigued despite the second rage. That is RAW"
So yeah, very high risk. Rage in itself is a "press in case of emergency" ability. This double rage is "bossfight supernova and pray you have enough rage left" but ultimately it is legal.

They already beat you to the punch
