Why isn't there a Stormborn Bloodrager bloodline?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

That was one of the biggest let downs to me in the ACG, that and a shapeshifter druid/monk hybrid class still not existing. But when I saw the class all I could think was how perfect this bloodline would be. Charging bolt of lightning with a greataxe, I don't know to me that seemed like something missing.

I think they only made Bloodrager bloodlines in the ACG that matched Sorcerer bloodlines that were in the CRB. It's possible that somewhere down the line there will be a Stormborn bloodline for the Bloodrager.

Although honestly, Elemental Air covers the concept well enough for a bloodrager.

I was hoping that they would at least have the bloodlines from the Advanced Players Guide in the Advanced Classes Guide.

Yes not even just the Stormborn but all the APG ones would he nice. I don't think air elemental does it well enough because it's not a living lightning bolt as much as I can do some electric things

The answer is quite simple.... limited space and time. And as mentioned above, Air does cover most of it's bases.

And they probably wanted to save some bloodlines to publish them in later books.

If all you want is Ride the Lightning, you can take Greater Eldritch Heritage for it and get it at 17.

Because Paizo is extremely slow on stuff like this. Stuff like having new classes catch up to core classes in terms of game material.

Again...wish they would just do an Advanced Player's Guide 2 and stuff it with goodies for all the new material.

The focus should always be on Core material first with the other stuff secondary. Everyone uses Core to some degree or another. Not everyone uses every new book that hits the market. There's also only so much room in each book. For every bloodline they would add, what material should they take out? Remember that whatever you feel is worthy of removal, someone else would like to see more of.

Hence why they should do Web Enhancements, like WotC did for a long time.
