Starting a campaign?

Recruitment

I can't find any information at all (threads or FAQ) about how to start a campaign, add players, add characters, and so forth. Could someone list out some steps. The best I could get to so far is create a thread under each area: Recruitment, PBP, and PBP Disc. Thanks.

Also, the Wayfinder phone app crashes each time I try to post. Any ideas on that one?

As players post to the Gameplay thread, the server will automatically add them to the Players/Characters tabs. Starting a Campaign is as simple as opening the threads you have mentioned. Adding information to the Campaign Info tab will help players and readers know what kind of Campaign you intend to run.
I would also recommend a post from you on this thread giving your prospective players an idea of what kind of game you intend to run.
I have no experience with using Wayfinder, so I couldn't say what might be causing that.

Useful information:
An 'Elevator Pitch' of what the Campaign is going to be. AP titles will serve, although if you intend to tweak things it can be polite to inform people of that as well. You don't necessarily have to give details, but letting people know there will be curve-balls such as mashing plots from two AP's together is appreciated.
Game System used if not Pathfinder.
Race/Class/Archetype limitations.
Allowable/non-allowed source material for PC creation.
Ability generation used; I.E.; point-buy or dice rolling.

Can't get anything to post in Gameplay. It just cycles or says it is loading, but never changes screens or posts anything.

I remember having similar confusion when I wanted to start a campaign. I don't find this forum particularly intuitive for Game Masters and campaign creation. Once you get it going, it is pretty easy however.

If I remember correctly, you have to start a recruitment thread, then at the near the top of the Paizo page there is an option to create a campaign, or something like that. Once you have created the campaign, you then have tabs open to you: Campaign, recruitment, discussion, players, etc.
Use the Campaign tab to enter your game information, house rules, character creation methods, what to expect, etc.
Use the Recruitment thread to lure in players for a look at your game.

Here is my current campaign (also my first and only Play-by-post) if you want to look.
