Interest check The Ghenett Manor Gauntlet (PFS)

Recruitment

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 5–9.

When the Pathfinder Society failed to obtain a valuable artifact from a wealthy Druman noble using diplomatic means, the eccentric collector challenged them to take it through skill from one of his well-guarded manors throughout the world. You are sent to Ghenett Manor in Katapesh with the hopes of surviving long enough to return with the prize—assuming it’s there at all.

Would be happy to run this for either APL5-6 or APL8-9 if enough player sign up, if there is interest?
Pre-gens would be welcome as well, to fill a table.

Shadow Lodge

I'm interested.
I currently have a Cleric open (will post below) or a pregen. Depending on when this actually starts, I might have another character that is free, but could play a pregen, too.

Silver Crusade

I was assuming PbP. Is that correct? Also, what are your expectations for the game, (average daily postings, more or less RP, etc. . .)

Liberty's Edge

This character might be available once I get credit for WBG2, which should be fairly soon. It will level him up, and grant him an Owlbear animal companion boon (reskinned bear). I also need to assign a new faction (free) and I am honestly not sure who I want to go with.

Shadow Lodge

I'm also currently running The Glass River Rescue, so it would be nice to get a better understanding of Tamal Passad, who it mentions first appeared in this.

Would be PbP, yes.

Grand Lodge

Hey Pete! I'd be interested! I'm with Beckett, in that I am running Glass River and am curious about that connection. ATM I have a Level Six Alchemist (Cryptbreaker).

For posting rate - once per day during the week, nothing required on the weekend (as I cannot promise myself how often I can post).
Mixture between combat and RP, usual PFS stuff.
Combat - group initiative - which means, baddies go in one lot, you go in one. Which means you do not need to adhere strictly to initiative order - speeds up combat significantly.

So far:
DM Beckett - Ignatious the Seeker of Flame (Cleric) or Yanos (Cleric)
Hawkwen Agricola - Alchemist (Cryptbreaker)

Shadow Lodge

Sounds perfect to me.

Grand Lodge

I'm interested in applying with this character, once I decide what faction he'll end up in.

Welcome Chai, now we need one more player.

Sovereign Court

I am available.

Ready to roll then, will have gameplay up tomorrow, 2 more spaces available.

The Exchange

I wouldn't mind getting some PbP experience. Would probably be using a pregen gunslinger.

Silver Crusade

Ignatious is g2g, Yanos is still waiting, and not sure when that game will be over.

Silver Crusade

It's been a little bit since I have ben able to play this character, so I will need to refamiliarize a bit with him. I'm playing up the aasimar side a bit, so the character believes that he is a child of Sarenrae rather than him being a priest of her. I don't really bring that up much in game, other than when I pray for a spell, or talk about religion I tend to refer to mommy rather than my deity and also tend to refer religious events I was present at rather than doctrinal lore.

As far as my build, I am stongly focused on hurting Undead and Evil Outsiders, and will save about half my Channel Energies for that as back up. Also a strong party face. I tend to try to talk things out before taking action, but circumstances dictate. I try to be very fluid otherwise, trying to fit in with the groups I play with, so I can be a tank, I can be a party buffer, and even an arcanist to a point (blasting at least).

My motivation and goals are to grow stronger in the mortal world and finally ascend, taking Angel Wings at 11th, and becoming a sort of saint, but in game I believe I am there to help the world, even if I do not know how, and to experience it all as a mortal would.

If anyone has any suggestions or request for certain spells, let me know. Likewise, any wands they want me to use on them, (though in general I find that if I use my healing it tends to be much more effective most of the time).

Sovereign Court

Interestingly enough, I played with a character concept much like yours (aasimar channel focused) and I found that Iomedae is actually a better deity for the build than Serenrae from a mechanical perspective. I thought that was interesting.

Zantir is a Dex based melee fighter type in the form of a bard. Most of his spells are buff or recovery with a couple utility thrown in. He likes to go crazy in melee combat, but also likes to talk out of combat.

As for spells, I like ones that make me better in combat. Bless, Magic Circle vs Evil, and Blessing of Fervor look good and help the whole party. I have Allegro which is basically a self-Haste for the Bard. We will need to coordinate as I don’t think it stacks with Blessing of Fervor. Actually, we probably need a GM ruling on this.

GM! Blessing of Fervor states it does not stack with Haste. Allegro gives the benefits of Haste, but is not Haste. It’s Allegro. So, in your interpretation of the RAW does Allegro stack with Blessing of Fervor? If I were running a home game I would totally say no, but since we are in a strictly RAW environment it becomes more ambiguous, ironically.

Everyone should note that I know Silence, Heroism, Remove Fear, and Saving Finale.

Welcome Sajns, pregens are welcome, game thread is open.

Grand Lodge

Thanks, I guess I'll go with Lirianne at 7th level, that seems to be where the rest of the group is at.

Lirianne is a bit less diplomacy focussed than Sajna normally would be, but as far as combat goes they aren't too far apart. I'll probably try and stand back and not get in anyone's way. I don't take penalties firing into combat so I should be able to provide some good ranged support.

I'll work on getting my character sheet online and then jump into the gameplay thread.
