My players are arriving at Port Shaw this Friday. Will probably have to run the first session from the pdf. Already printed the pages I think I will need.
WOOHOO! Got my tracking info last night! I will have actual books for next Thursday's game! (Good thing the PC still have the last bit of Wormwood Mutiny to get through before the real adventure on the Razor starts... gives me time to read and reflect.)
Was the PDF download a one time thing? My hard drive recently went kaput after my cat knocked water over on my laptop. I've tried to redownload the PDFs on two different computers but keep getting errors that the file is damaged. I suck at computers so I don't know what the solution is. Thanks!
No go to the link they sent you via KS and you can DL them again, I have so not sure what your problem is.
I'm not sure what the problem is either. I have the e-mails with the link, username, and password. Those all go through fine but when I go to click on the file, I can an error that says it can't be displayed. I click to open with Adobe and then it says that the file is damaged.
Mine arrive on Monday. A perfect reward for my first weekend of drill!
My confirmation said that mine should arrive on Tuesday. That means my post office will get them to my house by next Friday...
Question for TriOmegaZero:
Spoilered to avoid derailing the thread.
First weekend of drill? Have you recently seen the light and swapped from active to guard/reserve? Congrats! My experience is that most Guard Units are like families. There's a bit of infighting, but we stand up for and support each other against all "outsiders." Caveat: I only have extensive experience with one guard unit, and passing experience with a few others.
As a 13 year guardsman (has it really been that long already), I keep an eye open for folks who mention that they are military.

I've had shipping notices, and actual deliveries, for both the pirates minis set and the Bethany mini as separate packages. Nothing on the books front yet.
It was up or out at 12 years active, and I didn't make the cutoff for up. So the reserve counselor said I could get separation pay for the low price of a 3-year contract. At $36K I said 'sure'. :) So far things look promising, an while the schedule could be better, I'm not complaining so far.
You might check your free memory Alex, that is the only time I have any issues. Now my tablet has issues with it so I load the older version of the file on that one.
For the record, I opened RAZOR COAST in Foxit Reader, and have had no problems with the scrolling speed like I do in Adobe.
Played session 5.1 tonight and had a lot of fun! Ran through most of the whispers, a few vignettes and an inciting incident or two. The players now have lots of hooks to go on for session 2 and only complained about not enough combat as they were not getting XP for the role playing. Combat should increase next session and going forth from there.
Hey all my friend and fellows going to Gen Con this year...
Rone Barton's and my organization Iron GM (you've maybe seen us in those whacky outfits?), is sponsoring a Razor Coast special event. It's an interactive for up to 60 players, and it needs talented GMs who can run a mean Pathfinder game.
So, GMs, want to work with a multi-Ennie award winning RPG author to deliver the hardest-hitting, gore-filled piratical interactive event of the season?
The event was designed by the nefarious Tim Hitchcock and it's called "Slaughter-Priests of the Razor Coast." It takes place Thursday, from Noon to 6pm.
If you've any interest in lending your Pathfinder GM'ing skills to this mastermind of an event please comment your interest here, and I'll PM you with further details.
Or, if you're just looking for an outrageous and exciting event to play, there is still room in "Slaughter Priests of the Razor Coast" (Pathfinder) - that's RPG1341324 in the Gen Con event catalog.
I might just sneak in as a player, myself, actually.
Hey Lou, thanks for the plug!
If there are any folks out there who are going to be at Gen Con and want to get in on the Razor Coast action to see what the setting is all about...
Go to Slaughter Priests of Razor coast GEN CON Events , there are still a bunch of seat open.
Books were sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work last night. One day ahead of schedule!
I waited until the kids were asleep to open the box... and fell asleep while telling the bedtime story. It was Grimm's The Three Wishes; it's not that long! I must have been tired from hauling the entire Razor Coast up to my third floor apartment.
*sigh*
It's still wrapped up waiting for me to open it tonight.
