My players are arriving at Port Shaw this Friday. Will probably have to run the first session from the pdf. Already printed the pages I think I will need.

I think there was some minor errata changes that were posted that should have been in the book if I recall. Beyond that I doubt there is any change.

I'm really hoping there will be an index. This kind of campaign design really cries out for one.

Not really if you just tilt it a little to the left...

WOOHOO! Got my tracking info last night! I will have actual books for next Thursday's game! (Good thing the PC still have the last bit of Wormwood Mutiny to get through before the real adventure on the Razor starts... gives me time to read and reflect.)

[Monty Burns]Excellent![/Monty Burns]

I also got my shipping confirmation last night. By the luck of the draw, I was one of the earlier packages to be packed!

Now I will need to find shelf space for these! What a wonderful problem. :)

I too received a wonderful email a few hours ago...

My email was waiting for me this morning also! All hail the great frog god!

I'd recommend anyone taking it in that direction to listen to or read Garth Nix's short story Beyond the Sea Gate of the Scholar Pirates of Sarskoe.

In other, completely unrelated news, I am in need of a new home group.

I love Garth Nix!

Eagerly waiting for my confirmation...

An entertaining story to listen to while making dinner. I added the ebooks to my wish list.

Me too, can't wait! Although as an always problematic/complex order NZ customer I know I'll be last! :D

Yay, got my e-mail last night. Now I hope it can smuggle it's way into old Blighty - lest I have to pay the authorities.

Just wish I could have got Bethany :(

Was the PDF download a one time thing? My hard drive recently went kaput after my cat knocked water over on my laptop. I've tried to redownload the PDFs on two different computers but keep getting errors that the file is damaged. I suck at computers so I don't know what the solution is. Thanks!

No go to the link they sent you via KS and you can DL them again, I have so not sure what your problem is.

I'm not sure what the problem is either. I have the e-mails with the link, username, and password. Those all go through fine but when I go to click on the file, I can an error that says it can't be displayed. I click to open with Adobe and then it says that the file is damaged.

Mine has arrived. :)

You got the books already? You must live close to FGG.

Mine arrive on Monday. A perfect reward for my first weekend of drill!

My confirmation said that mine should arrive on Tuesday. That means my post office will get them to my house by next Friday...

Question for TriOmegaZero:
Spoilered to avoid derailing the thread.

First weekend of drill? Have you recently seen the light and swapped from active to guard/reserve? Congrats! My experience is that most Guard Units are like families. There's a bit of infighting, but we stand up for and support each other against all "outsiders." Caveat: I only have extensive experience with one guard unit, and passing experience with a few others.

As a 13 year guardsman (has it really been that long already), I keep an eye open for folks who mention that they are military.

No, I'm about as far as you can get (USA wise) - I'm in Florida. :)

Someone had to go out first. Mine is scheduled for Monday meaning they may show as early as Saturday here.

I haven't gotten mine either. I'm in the US if it makes any difference.

I've had shipping notices, and actual deliveries, for both the pirates minis set and the Bethany mini as separate packages. Nothing on the books front yet.

Spoiler:
It was up or out at 12 years active, and I didn't make the cutoff for up. So the reserve counselor said I could get separation pay for the low price of a 3-year contract. At $36K I said 'sure'. :) So far things look promising, an while the schedule could be better, I'm not complaining so far.

Got mine today. Har!

Didn't pick up on this in the pdf, but really, after looking at the art of the final part of the adventure,

Bwahahahahahahha! Thank you, Jeff. That made my evening!

So anyone going to post some brag pics?

Had no update to my tracking info, not surprising for USPS. Meaning it probably won't be here earlier than Monday.

You might check your free memory Alex, that is the only time I have any issues. Now my tablet has issues with it so I load the older version of the file on that one.

For the record, I opened RAZOR COAST in Foxit Reader, and have had no problems with the scrolling speed like I do in Adobe.

Sounds like it is a better option. I just installed it myself. Wonder if they have an android version?

Played session 5.1 tonight and had a lot of fun! Ran through most of the whispers, a few vignettes and an inciting incident or two. The players now have lots of hooks to go on for session 2 and only complained about not enough combat as they were not getting XP for the role playing. Combat should increase next session and going forth from there.

Hey all my friend and fellows going to Gen Con this year...

Rone Barton's and my organization Iron GM (you've maybe seen us in those whacky outfits?), is sponsoring a Razor Coast special event. It's an interactive for up to 60 players, and it needs talented GMs who can run a mean Pathfinder game.

So, GMs, want to work with a multi-Ennie award winning RPG author to deliver the hardest-hitting, gore-filled piratical interactive event of the season?

The event was designed by the nefarious Tim Hitchcock and it's called "Slaughter-Priests of the Razor Coast." It takes place Thursday, from Noon to 6pm.

If you've any interest in lending your Pathfinder GM'ing skills to this mastermind of an event please comment your interest here, and I'll PM you with further details.

Or, if you're just looking for an outrageous and exciting event to play, there is still room in "Slaughter Priests of the Razor Coast" (Pathfinder) - that's RPG1341324 in the Gen Con event catalog.

I might just sneak in as a player, myself, actually.

Hey Lou, thanks for the plug!

If there are any folks out there who are going to be at Gen Con and want to get in on the Razor Coast action to see what the setting is all about...
Go to Slaughter Priests of Razor coast GEN CON Events , there are still a bunch of seat open.

My 1st package departed the sorting facility in LA on the 17th of July... no news since then...

I've already gotten the Bethany miniature, Oliver. Since I assume you're also currently in Germany, that one at least should probably have arrived.

Oh, and I got notice the books are on their way. ^^

Books were sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work last night. One day ahead of schedule!

I waited until the kids were asleep to open the box... and fell asleep while telling the bedtime story. It was Grimm's The Three Wishes; it's not that long! I must have been tired from hauling the entire Razor Coast up to my third floor apartment.

*sigh*

It's still wrapped up waiting for me to open it tonight.
