Caster Druid Feat Recommendations

Advice

Grand Lodge

My caster Druid (Weather Domain) just hit fifth level and in the Kingmaker campaign. Any advice on feats I should take?

So far I've taken Spell Focus: Conjuration, Augment Summoning and Natural Spell. I'll definitely be taking Heavy Armor Proficiency (for Ironwood), Preferred Spell (Heal) and Heighten Spell (required for Preferred Spell). I was considering another Preferred Spell so that I'd have another to spontaneously cast, but I can't identify one that is useful enough as Heal and Summon Nature's Ally.

I'll likely grab Combat Casting. If it proves useful I may request permission from my GM to take Flyby Attack from Monster Feats. I'm just not sure how often I'll be flying around the battle field with the need to deliver touch spells, like heals.

Thanks! =D

Toughness is always a solid choice.
Another very good choice is the scribe scroll feat, that way you can have all those "just in case" spells handy without either burning your daily slots or spending too much money.
Improved initiative is very good choice for every primary caster.
Maybe you should think about spell penetration but as a player of kingmaker (now at the start of the 4th book) i have to say that we haven't yet encountered any SR at all.
Now about metamagic feats, i recommend extend and maybe quicken.
Good call for heavy armor proficiency.

I have been a little shy about Scribe Scroll because I figured it better to enhance my combat skills and pay additional money for the scrolls. Is this not ideal?

Of course it is.

But you have the option of the scribe scroll.

I may very well take it. Looking through the spell list there are many that seem important on occasion. Seems something that could pay off. I appreciate the advice.

Kingmaker? Extend widen and enlarge are viable options, as you can use spells like move earth, sculpt stone, plant growth, wall of XXXX often during "non-combat/exploration" days to do some pretty amusing things around the kingdom.

I will keep this in mind. Seems that we'll be outside a lot and these kinds of spells would really benefit from that fact.

I am also playing a caster druid in kingmaker (air domain), and I have the exact same feats as you do, or at least I did until lvl 5. I am now lvl 7 and went for great fortitude at 7th.

I am thinking of going for improved great fortitude at 9th, but may just as well go for heavy armor prof. Iron will and improved Iron will are both on my "want" list, as is thoughness. Metamagics would be nice, but at this point my summons, which are the offensive spells I'm using, last long enough to run out of hit points anyway, so there's no need for an extend.

For downtime landscaping the enlarge would be fun, but really, since this is a downtime activity anyway, use twice the time to cast the spells twice, and save your feats for survival.

Survival in Kingmaker? Seriously?

Me and my group are currently at the 4th book and the game so far if nothing is too easy. I don't know if it's our DM that it's not trying to make our lifes very difficult but how easy can he be going to us?
Survival has never been a problem for us.

Natural Spell can't be taken before fifth level.

Oh, very seriously... It's actually a blend campaign where we are playing the Runelords campaign and starting on the kingmaker now, but our GM is quite good at making encounters challenging, and ramping up the opposition to suit our group. We've been playing about a year now, going from lvl 1 to now at lvl 7, and we have 8 casualties so far...
