We can cook better than any restaurant you'll find around here.

Edit: I hope you weren't expecting anything with cheese in it, looks like I'm going to have to wear mine for warmth until I find my clothes again.

That's fine, just eat around the hair.
It's always worked for me.

After a head count in the garden all told we should get ten pumpkins and a string of gourds I most definitely did not plant.

I suspect aliens.

Or possibly when I tilled a gourd into the mulch pile in the garden last fall.

But most likely aliens.

I swear, in a summer or two I'm just going to rent another big-a$$ RV and drive across the country visiting all the FaWtLers and taking them out to eat at their favorite restaurants.

Might be a teensy bit expensive, but man does it sound fun!

Now if I can only convince Impus Major to start learning to drive.

if Nobodyswife and/or lisamarlene are coming I must insist you enjoy the chocolate cake I made myself.

Question: Wouldn't you want him to eat said cake regardless of who was with him?

All the 4G speed on my Hotspot is gone. Posting is a pain, right now. And downloading something I just bought is impossible. I'll try to download from the library, tomorrow. I guess I'm done for the night. Good night, everyone.

All of us? Better make sure the big-ass RV has a decent paddles or screw propeller then.

He already knows how to swim, I presume?

Some people find it difficult to send up a distress signal. Not me. I've always had a flare for it.

In other news, my players tonight decided to try and tackle a Gelatinous Cube. Now, GCs are supposed to be slow, but somehow I don't think they're meant to be as slow off the mark as mine was. It got a -4 on Initiative (rolled a nat 1, -5 Initiative modifier). It has made up for it some by paralyzing two PCs, but probably could have done more if I hadn't forgotten that they can engulf anyone. For some reason I thought the targets had to be paralyzed, so they got off easy so far. But when we pick up the fight next week, I'll remember!

Hey gran they can engulf anyone that don't have to be paralyzed first.

Aww you made that alias just for me.

Aww its digesting me.... kind of burns.

Its kind of weird if you think to much about it. You can just walk in and out of that creatures digestive track. May not always be easy to walk out of it.

Yay an excuse to use this alias!

From an advert I saw on Faceballs for a local pick-your-own pumpkin festival:

Q) Are dogs welcome at the pumpkin festival?

A) No, I'm afraid they are not, as we've found that they like to wee on the pumpkins.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

WEEEEEE oh wait.... yeah that is a bad thing.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Not for the dogs. They're just trying to let people know which pumpkin is theirs.

Gran its not good for some reason out snack shop has a purchase over 1.5 k which is impossible even if the entire thing was bought out. (which it wasn't). SOOO this should be interesting.

Meh. Not my problem.

Seriously, though, it sounds like someone misplaced a decimal point.

My thought is a typo too but it really would of took some effort to make an accident this large. I think I'm going to go with what you said first and leave it for my manager to figure out.

Or maybe you've been hacked! North Korean hackers are right now rifling your electronic drawers, stealing vital secrets on hotel administration to use against us! Quickly, the only way to be sure you are perfectly secure is to pour boiling ice into (NOT ONTO, BUT INTO) your desk computer's CPU while using an unbent paperclip to prod the inside of it's power supply. And THIS IS VITAL, DO NOT NEGLECT THIS all the while you must sing MmmmBop while doing the Carlton.

Let me know how that works out for you.

Beagle.

But not just any beagle, he's also a vessel for every single hound dog cliche ever written.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I love beagles. I used to have a beagle blue tick mix He had the coloring of the blue tick and the body of a beagle. you would start saying his name and he would howl with you.

We’ve got a puggle, and she makes a valiant effort at howling with sirens.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

Dang it.

Sissyl!

If I remember correctly, I think some of your family had problems with schizophrenia (at least at one time), and, though taking anything like advice from a weirdo on the internet is a bad idea, I literally just saw this today and wondered what, if anything, it might be able to do to help?

Sorry if I'm a moron!

What? I had no idea they did that. That really sucks.

My fall progress reports for my students are due *tomorrow*, and I haven't started them yet.

My students haven't been able to go outside for recess for two days because the air quality index is too high. They can't wrap their brains around it "because it's sunny and it's not raining out".

Aaaand I had a little girl get dropped off sick as a dog yesterday, throwing up *everywhere*. Her mom tried to say "Oh, she was just complaining about her breakfast."
"Did it have black sesame paste in it?"
"Yes! How... oh."
I'm glad I know what black sesame paste is, or I seriously would have suspected the girl of having PICA.

But on the bright side, I was finally able to run our family Legacy of Fire game for the first time on Monday after a two-month hiatus. And we might even play again (gasp!) this weekend!

That's why one of our collies is named Timmy. Same personality.

Its currently my opinion that there are three basic dog personalities.
Aggressive
Shy
and Never-met-a-stranger.

Some of them might have but my coworker, who used to work at one a couple years back and tried to reapply at another recently but passed when she found out how much she would be paid, thinks it occurred around 2012 or so since she made minimum wage at the first one.

I've never been to Sonic.
