The Eldritch Mr. Shiny |
Hugo has convinced me to maybe do some artwork for this one, so I'm tentatively in.
Also, as I mentioned on the Wayfinder #2 thread, I'd like to get into some of the editing aspect for Wayfinder #3. I've always been a stickler about spelling and grammar (at least, as far as print media go), and I could help combat some of the issues that were present in Wayfinder #2.
Bumping this up to the top of the page.

Epic Meepo wrote:Or just substitute "ghost" for some new type of undead that are just like ghosts but are tied to the Ethereal Plane.I just finished a nice, 1500-word piece involving the Ethereal Plane and ghosts.
Then I glanced at the Bestiary and discovered that ghosts no longer have any connection to the Ethereal Plane.
Time for a total rewrite. :(
Submitted.
Not only did I drop ghosts but I dropped the Ethereal Plane, as well. Now it's shadows and the Plane of Shadow. And shadowy fey that haunt the Cairnlands.

What about advertising for RPG publishers?
As listed on the OP, 1/4, 1/2 and full page ads are aavailable. This time we do ask for a fee to cover printing costs since this will have a print run for PaizoCon (hopefully around 500 issues)
For more details please contact Liz or me about it.

Think anyone would be interested in some lvl 21-30 support for Pathfinder? Feats, class progressions, spells? From what I can tell we shouldn't expect any official epic material for at least a year. I'm sure I can bring it together for Wayfinder 4. I could try for Wayfinder 3 but I'd be worried about getting quality work done in under 2 weeks.

One week to deadline and...
...I expected more out of you guys, really. I expected my inbox to be OVERFLOWING with submissions, enough to make me weep that there were only 24 hours in a day to sort through them. This is your chance to get your brain squeezings in PRINT! Don't have an Absalom article? That's fine - we want Golarion, and here's your chance to stake a flag and write what the Paizo peeps have inspired you to!
Get to it folks! :P

Neil, Jonathan, and I have something on the way. It takes a little more time because we collaborate a great deal.

If I knew anything about Absalom or Golarian at all, I could probably come up with something for you. As it stands, the only thing that comes to mind is that, if there are gladiatorial arenas in Absalom, I could stat up a few "headlining" Gladiator class characters. Except that would require 3PP material... uh, nevermind then.

you may like to talk about the Irorum then :)
basically its a colliseum.. cerated as kind of training-test-temple kind for those who eprsued physical perfection as Irori (Buda/Kung Fu Kind of god) but in recent years it has become more and more commercial with gladiators entering for money and glory isntead of perfection... still there are practitioners of the old arts... but that is another story
so yes.. you have place to write about Gladiators :)

1) Will this be available for those of us who cannot attend Paizocon?
Yes, there will be a PDF download available on Paizo's site shortly after PaizoCon. If you simply must have a print copy...
2) How do we help support printing costs?
...please donate! All advertisers, contributors, and donators receive one print copy. Please see my profile for a valid PayPal address. :)

Dang post eating messageboard gremlins.
I have one article that only needs a final editing pass through.
The article is pushing 1400 words though. If this could pose an issue, shoot me an e-mail or grab me via Google chat and I can give you a run down of the article to see if a word reduction would be needed.

whew. That is a relief as cutting down on the article could be done but it would suffer for it I think.

Remember: Absalom theme: Optional! You don't NEED to write about absalom to get your article in.
The deadline was quite short but we assure you that the effort is waaaaaaaaay worth it! Seen your stuff printed and enjoyed by lots of paizonians, paizo overlords and other RPG industry professionals is quite unique. Of course getting your own printed copy is just as awesome :)
