Hello friends!

I'm trying to run a homebrew in a sandbox world that is about light-hearted fun a la We Be Goblins! style play. A little backstory...

I manage a physical therapy clinic in a large health club, and for as much as I love my job I deal with enough drama all day long. When I get home from a long day at the clinic, I really just want to laugh. I'm all for the epic level dramatic sagas that can be tabletop RPGs, but sometimes I want a break from serious characters in dark adventures.

So, I am interested in running a sandbox type campaign that is more about the characters than the story. Story would be a more fluid concept in reaction to what the players are doing, but not necessarily the driving force of the game. I have not done a ton of GM'ing in the past, but I've done enough to at least be competent. What I would be looking for is characters that are fully fleshed out with their own stories, quirks and eccentricities, and most importantly some kind of fun concept. I don't even care if it is a min-maxy character if it applies to the backstory. I've built a character as a bit of an example of what I mean by ridiculous/comedic:

Dinglecanter Fizzlesnot

In this example, all of his spells are mucus based. Not part of the actual rules, but works better with the character. So, when he casts "Drench" the spell takes on a whole new meaning...

Because this campaign would be so heavy on the character focus, all Paizo and third party material would be available. Creativity is king to me, and limiting your access to content might limit the concept you want to develop.

As far as gameplay, I'll still be using all the monster manuals, dice rolls, and the usual stuff, but this is about everyone having a good time. I'm all for hand waving rules every so often when the suggested action is just too good to stop from occurring because the rule book wouldn't allow it. For example, in a We Be Goblins! I ran a while ago the party alchemist (who found a bottle of Sovereign Glue) teamed up with the party rogue for shenanigans that were just too good to say no to. The alchemist came up with the idea to throw the glue into the air while the rogue ran and jumped, colliding with the glue in mid-air, and landing on an owlbear's back for permanent back-stabbing. I still required dice rolls for success, but I loved the creativity so much I was just as happy that it succeeded as the players were. I love the spirit of that kind of idea! Also, the way I see it is that critical successes are just as much fun as critical failures. I love flavor text as to why a thing succeeded or why it failed. My whole goal for this is to be something everyone in the group can come to and laugh at on a daily basis.

Character Creation:
Starting Level: 3
HP: Max at first level, average for the rest (Hero Lab users have a check box for this)
Abilities: 20 point buy
Traits: 2, no restrictions on them if they fit the character - go ahead an use AP and regional traits
Starting gold: 3000gp
Special Rules: All Paizo AND third party content allowed. I'd hate for someone to miss out on the perfect character concept because of a silly restriction like no access to some kind of bloodline or feat.

VMC is allowed, and after thinking about it I wouldn't want to go with gestalt. I said I don't mind min-maxing necessarily, but if one character is gestalt and others are not I worry about an imbalance in the group. However, if you make a good enough character case for why gestalt should be in there I may allow it.

Everyone gets these feats for free: Catch Off-Guard, Sling Anything, and Throw Anything. Blowing that many feats for improvisational problem solving is too much for my taste. I WANT you to be creative with your solutions.
Background: Here is where you sell yourself. Since this campaign is entirely about the characters, I want to see what you bring to the table with the character's background. If you already have one written, great! Leave it there. At the very least do a 10-Minute-Background.
RP Sample: I would like to get an idea of how you would play the character.
-----------------------
You walk into the town hall. There is a large group of people yelling about missing cattle, dying crops, and mysterious creatures in the night that people have described 18 different ways. It's obvious there's a threat to your town, but no one has stepped up to fix it and the mayor is holding this meeting to find someone to help.

What do you do?
-----------------------
Posting Rules: 1/day at the minimum. I will try to make sure I'm keeping things progressing as best I can as well. Special exceptions can be made to the 1/day rule as life always messes with plans every so often.

Have fun with this!

I have an idea for a pathfinder chronicler mixed with the court bard archetype as well as using beguiling gift.

Here! Got a letter for yea mister!
*man opens letter*
Letter reads
Dear son
I just want you to know that me and your father think you smell. You should go take a bath or we will disown you.

Love, Mom and Dad.

P.s. seriously... Pee new

'Dr. Knuckles' Is totally a doctor. He has a medical degree. It's probably in his pocket. People sometimes confuse him for just an ordinary half-ogre, which is already something unusual, but no, he's actually quite rarer than just that. He's a real medical professional.

I mean, really, look at his custom-tailored coat. It's got sleeves for both his arms that don't tear when he moves. He wouldn't go out of his way to have that made if he couldn't practice medicine, right?

10 minutes with Dr. McKnuckles:

Five things about Dr. McKnuckles
1. He's totally a licensed Doctor.
2. He's actually a half-ogre, and that's a sensitive issue for him.
3. He knows that almost any issue can be solved with chiropractics.
4. He believes he's quite the competent healer, but has no magic.
5. The license was acquired from the Academy in Ustilav, where half the time the skeletons he had to practice on were animated.

Two goals:
Dr. McKnuckles would like to establish a permanent practice somewhere.
I would personally like to see Dr. McKnuckles 'adjust' some obscenely dangerous creature like an elder fire dragon, and get thanked for it by said creature.

Two Secrets:
Dr. Knuckles can belch the entire alphabet. Unfortunately, he only knows how to do it in Giant.
Dr. Knuckles once fell in love with a gelatinous cube, but it was never meant to be.

Three people tied to Dr. McKnuckles:
His pa, who lives a happy life away from his wife, working as a baker.
His ma, the ogre his pa once fell in love with. She now raids villages around Korvosa.
His gelatinous cube ex-girlfriend, Mandy. They aren't on speaking terms anymore, and she ate his pet cat. Mister Whiskers (female)

What are your thoughts about Background skills? IMO it is an awesome system.

Crap, I forgot to put that in, yes to Background Skills. Also, recruitment is open until 4/10. I'll make final decisions by then for 4-6 players.

nilbog allowed? I was gonna make one using the roll with it dear who's gimmick is he is basically a bouncy ball.

I am a little confused, I know what Catch Off Guard and Throw Anything are, but what is Sling Anything?

Working on updates to Gregor the Barkeep now...

Wilbert grew up in a rich household. In his entire life, he was never want for anything. Wil attended the best prep schools Golarian (or wherever) had to offer. Things usually came easy for him whether it be classes or sports. If anything presented the slightest challenge, it was probably not worth doing anyway.

Because of that, Wil can't decide what he wants to be when he grows up. First, he wanted to be a professional MMA fighter but decided to abandon that path upon realizing that others get to hit him too. Next, Wil got into dressage competitions. After a near fatal accident, he nursed his horse back to health. That got him thinking. Dressage required a lot of dedication and hours of practice. The feeling of reward Wil felt from taking care of his horse convinced him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. That should be easier, right?

Who knows when he'll move to to something else? Maybe Wil will seek mythical treasures or feel the call of exotic dancing. The only certaintity in his career choices is not if he will change, but when.

10 min questions:
5 things about Wilbert
1. He is very impulsive, often changing his opinion or direction with minimal contemplation.
2. He doesn't have ADD but he is very easily distracted, especially by shiny objects…or butterflys.
3. Right now, he wants to be a vet because animals are fluffy and cute.
4. He doesn't like pain or any kind of discomfort. Can be a big baby about it sometimes.
5. Wil is open to new ideas and accepts people for who they are. Or maybe he just doesn't care enough one way or another.

2 goals
1. Maximize personal comfort (i.e. enjoy life). Continue to seek new experiences in life.
2. Eventually mature and not be so selfish. Hopefully discover his life's passion and settle down with a true goal or sense of purpose.

3 secrets
1. Wil likes to sing, but only when he's in the shower.
2. Wil actually has a great work ethic. It's just not something cool people do where he's from so he never realized that he had that hidden drive. That's the internal reason why he continually searches for a profession he'll like rather than lounge around all day.
3. His distant relative is a raelis azata. This is the source of his bloodrager power but he doesn't know it.

3 character ties
1. His mom. She is his world and gives him all the comfort and encouragement Wil could want. Yeah, he's a momma's boy.
2. His buddy Charlo. They grew up together but have lost touch since Wil started traveling the world. Charlo does not understand Wil's desire to adventure.
3. Brady, Wil's rival. Unbeknownst to Wil, it was Brady that sabatoged him in the dressage competition leading to the accident. Also, whenever they meet, Brady always makes some sort of sexual innuendo about Wil's mom. That's just not cool man.

3 memories
1. 5 years old. Soft satin sheets and the warmth of his mom's bosom as he snuggled with her in bed after a nightmare. Her long auburn hair tickles his cheek.
2. His first kiss with Anasta, the half-elf transfer student, at 12 years old. She smelled like cherries.
3. The first time he saw blood at 18 years old. He was in the octogon in his first professional fight. The blood was his. Sharp emotion of horror mixed with pure excitement.

Wil steps out from the crowd with an air of confidence. The young man sweeps some strands of dark hair from his eyes as he declares in a booming voice, "I am Wilbert Torichfoyu and I would like to offer my services in investigating these strange occurrences." Pausing as if realizing the gravity of his declaration, he continues with a nervous smile, "Um. Of course, I am fully capable of doing this alone but what's the fun in that? Who else would like to join me in this grand quest?" Wil stretches his neck as looks around the crowd for Charlo, whom he knows could rope in...or at least someone that looks willing to help.

This sounds fun! I'll have a character up in the next few days.

Probably backing out. There's not much in the way of the absurd I can pull off with only three levels to work with.

Hmm, so I have this idea of a Rogue that has unconscious cleptomania, stealing things without intending to and then trying desperately to put it back before anyone notices!

Of course Norbert the Honest will end up with another assortment of five objects by the time he manages to put that proceless diamond back on display, but that's ANOTHER MATTER ENTIRELY!!!

So the idea I had was to ask if I could make him as a gestalt between Unchained Rogue and Lore Warden Fighter, I have this idea of getting ALL OF the Fleet Feats (spending roughly 1/3 - 1/2 of my feats on ways to increase movement speed, because let's face it: He will be running a LOT.

@derpidruid: Build it up! I'd love to see it fleshed out.

@rungok: Got it, well done!

@Whitewalker Jon: I don't want to nix too much for people's ideas, but I think I would need to modify the Nilbog. I love the idea with the Roll With It feat, and the creature being immune to...well...everything certainly applies to being a bouncy ball. The being immune to everything but healing (which honestly, not much in the monster manuals will do without a skill check to even identify what the bouncy ball is) makes it harder to approve. So, I have a couple options. We can make the confusion spell and the damage reversal a X times per day use or make it so the damage reversal stays on at all times, but he has no ability to damage any other way to directly damage an opponent than the Roll With It feat? I would be fine with using the Roll With It to cause more damage if you, say, roll into a precarious structure.

@wanderer82: It's a 3rd party feat, essentially it's throw anything but using a sling. I lumped it in just in case someone makes a sling based character.

@slin2678: Good stuff, I've got you down as completed!

@Edinoiz: I like the concept, so lets do this. Give me the feat progression you would do taking it to level 20 (optimistic for a PbP, I know). Conceptually it doesn't seem like your plan would necessarily be game breaking, but I would like to see how it fleshes out.

I've decided on a hideous monster from beyond (an Elan with the Aberrant Aegis archetype) that just wants to blend in with humanity and give everyone hugs. This should be fun to build!

Thinking of a Vissectionist Alchemist who is a chef who wants to eat as many dishes as he can. No matter what, he will try it!

Nilbogs are effected by ability drain. Drowning and the like.

How would his roll with it damage opponents?

This could be a good campaign to resurrect a kitsune ninja I had. Firmly good, a bit of a prankster, and I was aiming for her to get Fox Shape. (I know, not the most optimal build. But I was amused by the thought of her sneaking around as a fox.)I'll need a little time to remove some campaign specific stuff, adjust her point buy, and boost her to level 3.

http://paizo.com/people/MizukiHikari

That's the profile as it stands. (Ignore the stat block labeled Perfect Mizuki.) I'll do the ten minute background and fix her stats later.

Posting Gregor the Barkeep as he stands prior to recruitment. He needs some updates and his 10-Minute Background completed. Will do those shortly.

Scratch the alchemist. This calls for a hero... a true...Bro!

Paladin of the Sun all the way baby!

Dark Archive

Hmm, a female orc who's interested into... barbarian things.... and maybe snu snu lol.

@cousin Al: Plenty of great ways to do that, make it happen

@Whitewalker Jon: Fair, but it would also be immune to all weapons and non-healing magic, which is roughly 75% of what enemies do. Tell you what, draw up the concept and we'll see how it looks. Like I said, I don't want to limit too much, so a good concept may be worth the immunities. As for using it to damage, it would be having your allies tee you up and knock you into enemies. I'm willing to buff damage die on that kind of attack.

@TaliaKirana: Looking forward to the backstory

@Gregor the Barkeep: Got it, take your time finishing up!

@MannyGoblin: I'm on board, lets see it

@NenkotaMoon: I tip my hat to you sir, well played. Roll her up!

Traits:Irrepressible(Use Charisma modifier instead of wisdom against charms and compulsions),Armor Expert(-1 ACP)
Special Abilities:
Aura of Good
Detect EvilAt will, a paladin can use detect evil, as the spell. A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.
Smite Evil 1/Day a paladin can call out to the powers of good to aid her in her struggle against evil. As a swift action, the paladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, the paladin adds her Cha bonus (+3) to her attack rolls and adds her paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite (+1) If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the paladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.

In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the paladin gains a deflection bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect. The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the paladin rests and regains her uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the paladin may smite evil one additional time per day, as indicated on Table: Paladin, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.
Divine GraceAt 2nd level, a paladin gains a bonus equal to her Charisma bonus (+3) on all Saving Throws.
Lay on HandsBeginning at 2nd level, a paladin can heal wounds (her own or those of others) by touch. Each day she can use this ability a number of times equal to 1/2 her paladin level plus her Charisma modifier (4). With one use of this ability, a paladin can heal 1d6 hit points of damage for every two paladin levels she possesses.1d6 Using this ability is a standard action, unless the paladin targets herself, in which case it is a swift action. Despite the name of this ability, a paladin only needs one free hand to use this ability.
Alternatively, a paladin can use this healing power to deal damage to undead creatures, dealing 1d6 points of damage for every two levels the paladin possesses.1d6 Using lay on hands in this way requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity. Undead do not receive a saving throw against this damage.
Aura of CourageAt 3rd level, a paladin is immune to fear (magical or otherwise). Each ally within 10 feet of her gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects. This ability functions only while the paladin is conscious, not if she is unconscious or dead.
Divine HealthAt 3rd level, a paladin is immune to all diseases, including supernatural and magical diseases, including mummy rot.
MercyAt 3rd level, and every three levels thereafter, a paladin can select one mercy. Each mercy adds an effect to the paladin's lay on hands ability.
Whenever the paladin uses lay on hands to heal damage to one target, the target also receives the additional effects from all of the mercies possessed by the paladin. A mercy can remove a condition caused by a curse, disease, or poison without curing the affliction. Such conditions return after 1 hour unless the mercy actually removes the affliction that causes the condition. (Sickened mercey)

to flutter in the wind, even when there is no wind. His armor has a white tabard with a sunburst on the front and so does his shield.

Background: Brolaire awoke with no memory of how he had gotten to the temple of the sun goddess or why he awoke in the front pew with the sun
gleaming down on him from the windows. His past was vague and he only remembered a comforting feeling when he lent his arm to smite evil
with others and being drawn to the forge to craft arrows and javelins, seeing images of forging shafts that held the sun's power inside of them. Since
then, he has taken a day job as a blacksmith's apprentice when not escorting people along the dangerous roads and combing libraries for
hints of his past.

Goals: Protect others by himself, or more preferable with others. Jolly Co-operation!
Find out more about his past

Secrets: Keeps his hair short because it has a disturbing tendency to become an afro if he lets it get to long

Has an evil twin named Skippy.

Memories:
Jolly cooperation!
Forging weapons in a forge makes him happy
Has a strange fear of beetles
People he knows:
Sister Sophita. Priestess of the Sun Temple and found him after he woke up. Helped him get acquainted with his new home and found him a job
Grumm Sharpest: Dwarf blacksmith. Likes forging, gold and ale. Working on forging gold ale

A strapping yong man clad in a shining breastplate and clean white tabard strides up to the mayor. He smiles and light flashes off his white teeth. Good sir! I have heard that you are having troubles and am willing to lend aid to help bring peace back to the town. He looks to Wilbur and nods. I would be most willing to engage in jolly cooperation with you! With both of us on the case, we are sure to be victorious!

@Killer Pixie: You know what, all of them. You've got my interest as to what that would turn into.

Have you given any thought to using the Focus and Foible method of ability score generation for this game? Might be a fun option for a bit of variety. Just an idea.

I'd honestly not heard of it until you mentioned it. After looking it up, I'm totally fine with it if people would like to do that. Random fits in well with ridiculous in my book!

1st Claws of the Beast*, Grip of Iron

S'quig-aly has existed for centuries, floating in the dark void of space and watching the world from above. She always wanted to join and have fun with the humans, but she couldn't find a safe way down. One day, she was brought into the world by a nice man in a black robe alnd skull mask, and she was so exited that she immediately hugged him, ony letting go when she heard something crack. She thanked the nice man (who by this point was laying on the ground and gasping horribly) and immediately ran out into the world to explore.

Since then, S'quig-aly has been travelling, meeting new people, and generally having the time of her life. Sure, most people scream in horror when they see her, and nobody seems to want to hug her, but it sure beats floating around in the void alone!

Ten-minute background:

Five things about S'quig-aly:
1.) She's from the cold, uncaring void between the stars.
2.) She's extremely happy most of the time and loves being around people.
3.) She doesn't understand why people are freaked out by her. She's made of the same basic molecules, why does it matter if they're in completely different places?
4.) She loves hugs, cute things, and hugging cute things. Her definition of "cute" is kind of out there, though.
5.) She wants to blend in with humans, but is remarkably bad at it.

Two goals:
1.) Make as many friends as possible while hugging as many things as possible.
2.) Eventually settle down, have a family, and live a domestic life.

Three secrets:
1.) She is absolutely terrified of crabs for some reason.
2.) She can sing quite well, but only in Aklo.
3.) She has a humanoid form underneath all the tentacles and monstrous flesh, but doesn't realize it. She could reasonably pass as human if she dismissed her Transformed Body, but doesn't know she can do that.

Three character ties:
1.) Her only friend prior to being summoned is a creature named Urguth-Naal. He's still in the blackest void between the stars for now, but often sends her friendly messages in the form of lucid dreams.
2.) The first and so far only friend she's made here is a Half-Orc woman named Natasha. They met not long after S'quig-aly left the summoning altar, and the Orcish woman found S'quig-aly to be a very enthusiastic pal.
3.) Braxus is the cultist who originally summoned S'quig-aly, and he wants to either shunt her back into the void or kill her. He accidentally summoned her when he attempted to call for an aspect of Shub-Niggurath, and is less than pleased that he brought forth a happy-go-lucky hug monster instead. He's still a bit upset about the four ribs she broke when she hugged him.

Three Memories:
1.) S'quig-aly remembers the soul-crushing boredom of the void.
2.) She remembers the all consuming joy of making her first organic friend.
3.) She remembers the one time a harpy flew over her head and she felt an incredible urge to hug it.

RP sample

S'quig-aly slams the doors open, a smile plastered across what is probably her face. "HELLO FELLOW HUMANS! IT IS A LOVELY DAY OUTSIDE. THE SUN FEELS PLEASANT ON MY HUMAN SKIN!"

She saunters in, nearly tripping over her "dress" (which is as much a part of her body as her tentacles). "I HAVE HEARD THAT TROUBLE IS HAPPENING. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP MAKE THE TROUBLE GONE, IF THAT IS OKAY. I AM GOOD AT THAT, I THINK." She casually extends a tentacle and places it onto the shoulder of one of the gathered people. "FELLOW HUMAN," she says to the blatantly elven man. "DO YOU HAVE TROUBLE I CAN HELP YOU WITH?"

Oranna's Rp Sample:
With a yawn, Oranna steps into the old town hall. Dressed in somewhat revealing furs and chain clothing, she walks through the crowds of dirty towns folk and the occasional crazy old woman vowing that it is the end of the world, catching an eye or two.

"My name is Oranna," she announces out loud in the direction of the mayor, "Oranna hear of problem in town. She shall fix problem, but Oranna want good snu snu when she gets back. Gold will be good too."

@edanoiz, looks like a cool build. One question, how are you getting a feat every level while multiclassed?

@wanderer82:
Because I was allowed to build Gestalt (gaining the benefits from 2 classes at every level) with Rogue and Fighter as my choices.

Character list so far:
-derpdidruid: ? (? Bard/Pathfinder Chronicler)
-rungok: Dr. Fisty McKnuckles (Half-Ogre Brawler) - Complete
-slin2678: Wilbert Torichfoyu and Daniel (Human Monk/Bloodrager/Hunter) - Complete
-Edinoiz: Norbert the Honest (Human Unchained Rogue/Fighter Gestalt)
-Shub-Niggurath's cousin Al: S'quig-aly (Elan Aegis/Psychic Warrior) - Complete
-Whitewalker Jon: ? (Nilbog ?)
-TaliaKirana: Mizuki Hikari (Kitsune Ninja)
-Gregor the Barkeep: Gregor the Barkeep (Human Barkeep/Bouncer)
-Nenkota Moon: Oranna (Half-Orc Barbarian) - Complete
-MannyGoblin: Brolaire Warrior of the Sun (Human Paladin) - Complete
-Sir Longears: Aineyr Halfhold (Piper Bard) - Complete (no joke, I definitely read the spell Message as Massage. Kind of fit the character, yeah?)

@Edinoiz: The feat spread looks, for the most part, okay. My concern is as I mentioned one highly overpowered character compared to the group going with the CL ratings of monsters. Stealing things is certainly advantageous in combat, and not necessarily game breaking, nor is speed. Improved critical, being one I can't see used other than for direct damage to an opponent I can certainly see how just about everything else up to level 19 and 20 being either combat or usable for the theme (and lets be honest, a PbP getting to level 19 or 20 is pretty unlikely). I'll stick with allowing you to go getalt for the theme, but I may end up tweaking some of the combat against you specifically as opposed to the other players if picked to offset the advantage a bit. I'm not out to kill anyone on purpose, it's the dice that do that, but to try to stay balanced I may throw in things like bonus to attack against you citing severe anger by the monster for you stealing all of his things!

Anything that would fix her up better?

Dark Archive

@Edinoiz: If you allow me to express my opinion, why don't you go with a Lore Warden with Rogue as a Variant Multiclassing? If you are indeed interested more in the fluff aspect of your PC and not just building a powerhouse, this would allow you to keep most of the feats as you have chosen, losing just a couple of them to pay for the variant multiclassing... You'd still have the same BAB, Fort and Will, just losing a good Ref save and a skill points but that isn't really a problem:

With your gestalt build, human and background skills, you'd get 13+ skills points each level (8 rogue +2 lore warden +1 human +2 background +int), quite ridiculous IMO... with the mentioned fix, you'd still get 7+ skill points per level (2 fighter +2 lore warden +1 human +2 background +int) and if you spend your FCB in skills, you'd get 8+, like a true rogue and more than enough to make your concept!

With this, you'd still get trapfinding, sneak attack (weaker of course), evasion and uncanny dodge. Surely, in the end you'd make less damage without the full Sneak Attack but you are interested in making this for fluff and not to smash everything and make things less fun for the others, right?

Just my humble opinion...

Patchy the Pirate

Peter A.K.A Patchy was not always the smartest person in the room, and this sometimes got him into trouble; For instance when he sailed ship into a deserted island on a bright and sunny day. It’s okay though because that is where he found Polly a stuffed parrot who told him about the true god of the sea SpongeBob.
After being rescued by a passing schooner a few days later he decided to travel with Polly, who is now his best friend, from town to town proclaiming the word of bob.

10 minutes with Patchy:

Five things about Patchy

1. He's may not be the smartest person in the room, be he tries to be the most charismatic.
2. He fully believes in SpongeBob as a god, and is angered when people say he is not.
3. He thinks that being charismatic can hide his lack of intelligence or charisma.
4. He once had a crew and a ship, but he annoyed them with sea shanties and they mutinied.
5. Polly is a real bird that speaks to him, no matter what anybody else says.

Two goals:
He hopes to gather enough followers, that he can officially open the church of bob.
He wants to meet another person that can hear Polly.

Rp Sample:
Patchy confidently strides to the table nearest the front center of the room, and steps on top of it. Ahoy my name is Captain Patchy and this is my best friend Polly. He says pointing to the stuffed parrot on his shoulder. I have come to this town hall today to spread the word of bob our lord and savior. If any of you would like to discuss why this religion is truly for you, I will be standing right here. In the meantime perhaps if we all sing the prayer of bob, he will protect our town from this threat. Patchy promptly starts to sing the SpongeBob theme song.

Silver Crusade

I- I've always had a secret desire to play the stereotypical "Bard who will try to seduce anything female". I think the comedy potential is huge. What do you think?
