I personally love adventures in bookkeeping!
Male Human Bard 1
All joking aside, you really do enjoy the process of character creation, don't you, Scott? A well laid out character sheet is very important to you, isn't it?
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
lol I do but I really want to focus on the campaign and as little of the numbers as possible. With the sheets set up for me to access information better I will be able to move through finding things faster.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Okay George,
1. Under traits I would like you to describe all the traits as you did the first one. The description for Chance Savior is listed in this forum.
2. I would like you to make yours look a little more like Nicks with a few changes. Please make it look like this:
Total Skill Points Earned = XXX
Acrobatics: 6 = 1(Ranks)+ 2(Dex)+ 3(Class)+ 0(Special)
This way you and I can both see how that number was attained.
3.For weapons please display as:
Greataxe(WF)(20gp)+7 1d12+7 x3 10lbs S Rage:+9 1d12+9 x3
(If you have an ability you can display it like I have rage)
4. Please keep formatting consistent such as with your class abilities section. I like the bold formatting. Thanks!
For characters that deal with magic:
Also please place a * next to spells that you have prepared if your class requires both a known number of spells and spells being able to cast per day.
Please list spells known under a category marked Spell Book.
If you have a summoned creature (Karl) Please list his stats and abilities under one drop down tab. such as
Once George is done I will look over his sheet one more time. Once I give the go ahead please copy the order and formatting of his profile exactly. This will help me locate information quickly and efficiently.
Thanks.

Scott a couple of questions before I start:
1) do you REALLY want me to list every cleric spell for each level, since: Clerics, Paladins, Druids, and Anti-Paladins get to choose any spell;
2) either way, do you want me to include a description of the spells' effects; and
3) where do you want the DC of the caster plus all modifiers listed.
Female Human Cleric 1
The spells that I have listed are those that I have prepared, which depending on your answer to my previous post, how do you want me to handle changing of spells depending on the situation? Example in a dungeon I would be more heavy on the cure wounds, vs comprehend languages that I would have more of prepared in a town setting.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Just list the spells you have prepared. That is the best way.
I was talking about other spell casters that have more stuff to deal with.
I don't need the spell description.
Female Human Cleric 1
Understood, my apologies if my tone was unfriendly I will work on it when I get home.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Oh no, not at all. The same goes for me. At work so I am going back and forth. :-)
Male Human Bard 1
You probably already know this, but I don't prep spells. It cramps my style.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Nick, do you know of a good way to post maps. Can it be done here or is there another way to do this on the internet that is easy for everyone to access?
Male Human Bard 1
Another limitation of the medium. Do you know basic HTML and Php ? I could give you access to my web server. You could post it there and hyperlink here in the forums...
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
I could probably use photobucket and insert a hyperlink that way.
Female Human Cleric 1
Ok I made the changes. I also added CMB, CMD and Languages (just in case its needed). Anything else Scott or am I good to go?
Male Human Bard 1
So yeah, the photobucket route should achieve essentially the same thing. Sorry, I overcomplicate matters sometimes. When you have a hammer, every problem starts to look like a nail...
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
George it looks good. Now please everyone copy his layout exactly including the order of his headings. This way I can go straight down the list on each character sheet. Thanks!
Female Human Cleric 1
Thank you, hope I did not add too much more than what you had requested, particularly under skills. I figure as I level up I might decide to choose a new skill to train, and this would be easier to do as well as to roll untrained skill checks as well.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Looks good I am all for it. :-) We are on our way!
Female Human Cleric 1
I am going to work on an alias, basically get a lot of the grunt work out of the way, so if you see more than 1 Character under Aliases. I find character development relaxing :).
Male Human Bard 1
I don't understand your skills section... Why are you listing untrained skills that cannot be used untrained?
Female Human Cleric 1
Granted some skills such as the knowledge ones can not be used untrained, I figure that it would be easier to add them now instead of later. Some skills like diplomacy and appraise can be used untrained.
Male Human Bard 1
I see what you mean. Kind of a future shopping list...
Male Human Bard 1
Ok Scott, I have laboriously re-engineered my character sheet to adhere to your fascist regime. Please grant me the state sponsorship I so desperately seek!
Female Human Cleric 1
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Nick please update your profile to add your two traits and to change how your weapons and armor are set up as Geroge has. Thanks! Then my fascist regime will be perfect! Sieg heil! ;-)
Male Human Bard 1
Oh great and merciful god, what have I done to deserve this punishment? Should I ever *think* of creating another character please spare me this pain and strike me dead where I stand...
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Male Human Bard 1
Ok Scott... I have shined my proverbial jackboots to such a lustrous shine that you can see both the past and the future in their mirror-like finishes. I have made the sheets on my aphoristic bunk so tightly that quarters bounced off of them rebound faster than initially thrown. Surely there can be nothing in this crowning achievement of a character sheet left awry! I am complete! My character sheet is truly perfected now.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Looks good. I could be nit picky but I wont ;-)
Now we just need Karl and Brandon to get on and start working on characters. :-)
I am really excited about this game! I have handouts, maps, pictures, etc.. lined up already.
Does anyone have any non-smartassy/non-sarcastic questions?
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Is no one else on this as much as me? lol I feel like a nerd with no life :-)
Male Human Bard 1
You know Scott, I give you a lot of sarcastic backtalk, but I really do mean it all in jest. We shouldn't wait for Brandon. I don't think that he has the patience for this style of gaming.
Male Human Bard 1
And not to be critical, but it's not that you're a nerd with no life, it's that you're a workaholic with no time. And not by choice, mind you.
Male Human Bard 1
Also, I think the level of activity will pick up notably once the actual game commences.
Female Human Cleric 1
Karl has the boys this week and it was the first day of School on Wed. I did offer to email the html (if that is the correct term) script so all he would have to do is cut and paste.
I am not on during the evening when I work due to company policy about using the internet. If I am on its because I am at lunch.
Female Human Cleric 1
If we are going to be short a character, I do have experience playing two at a time. The character I was thinking about working on is an Aasamir Paladin who is from Lastwall. If you think we need a slightly larger party.
Female Human Cleric 1
I always check posts in the morning and I tend to be on and off til about 2:00 pm est when I have to work. BTW this is a life of its own and i seriously doubt you are a nerd. If you want to compare notes I am game :). LOL
Male Human Bard 1
I think that's exactly what this party needs: an aasimar paladin! He'll fit right in!
Female Human Cleric 1
Paladins are always fun to play, they sometimes add a bit of contention in the party due to their strict discipline compared to the bard's very easy going attitude and nature.
Female Human Cleric 1
Not that I would purposely cause any contention as a paladin, clerics can be the same way too, especially when they are trying to mediate and prepare their spells for the day.
Female Human Cleric 1
The true "trouble makers" are those darn flighty Bards, since they have no since of structure or discipline outside their performance skills. ;) hehehe
Male Human Bard 1
Oh, I'm not worried about the class. It's the demon worshipping Chelaxian lawyer that may have some difficulty co-existing. And I certainly don't intend to cause any contention, but I can almost guarantee that it will arise will knowing his nature...
Female Human Cleric 1
If I were you I would keep the inverted pentagram of Asmodeus well hidden from the cleric, since he slew Sarenrae's lord Ihys the brother of Asmodeus. I doubt that she will ever fully trust a follower of The Dark Prince.
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
Wow fighting in the rank already? lol
No I was jesting with everyone as well.
We may have to actually have both of you play two characters.
George go ahead and make the Paladin. I will look it over.
Nick would you be up to playing two characters as well?
We can fit Karl in when he can get on.
Sorry about not being on in the mornings. That is my time to get things done and to spend time with Joy. I can usually get on at work so my posts will be more in the afternoon.
Female Human Cleric 1
This is not fighting, it is just us getting to know each other and have some friendly banter.
Scott, I am planning on the paladin being the cousin of the ruler of Lastwall, is this good for you?
I have been reading up on the area and thought that the paladin from Vigil would be a good fit, since they have been tasked with making sure the lich stays dormant.
Female Human Cleric 1
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 4) = 9
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 4) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 2) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 1) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 6) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 4) = 18
My rolls for the paladin
Female Human Cleric 1
8,9,13,14,14,14 not bad, can I re-roll the 8 and/or 9 please
Female Human Cleric 1
If you do allow the rerolls:
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 3) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 4) = 13
Female Human Cleric 1
Which would make the 8 a 13 and the 9 a 12.
Then my scores in no order would be: 12, 13, 13, 14, 14 and 14. Is that acceptable oh almighty GM? *prostrates*
Female Human Archmage / Rogue / Druid
LMAO
:With a booming voice: Puny mortal! Though thinkest that you can reroll before I answereth thou! Feel my unending wrath!
You may get rid of the 8 and keep the 13. You must also keep the 9!
Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
