Alright this page is going to start out as character creation and pbp rules. We will begin with character creation. This page is just for our homegroup. Please do not post in this group discussion if you do not know us. Thank You.

Character Creation:
All classes and races in the Pathfinder Core Rule book (CRB), the Advanced Player's Guide (APG), Ultimate Combat (UC) and Ultimate Magic (UM) are available.

All rules apply for making characters from these books.

Character stat rolling: (Please use the dice roller available here on the site, you can do this by looking at the format text below and can be done by typing [.d.i.c.e.].1d20.[./.d.i.c.e.] I put periods in so it wouldn't actually come up.) Player's will roll 4d6 and then drop the lowest one, repeating this six times. For example: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 2) = 14 So this stat would end up being 12

Please roll these stats in one post by repeating the dice format six times in the post.

I would like everyone if possible to also list your character and stats under the alias option in "My Account". Please see mine under Gozer "Bone Splitter" as an example.

That should do it for the character section. If you have any questions about creation please post them here after we start.

Human ability score bonus goes to Charisma so

Class will be Bard with a performance skill in Oratory.

Correction: I'm switching the +2 to strength instead of charisma.

My HP roll: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Oh wait, we start with the max roll for level 1. Actually writing this stuff out is SO much more tedious than hero lab...

lmao Go 1 HP! But yes you are right it is full HP +Con. This will be good for you Nick. Hero Lab is a crutch. ;-)

Please take your alignment off of your character profile.

I would like everyones alignment to be secret for this campaign.

Also if everyone can find one that fits your character I would everyone to have an avatar for their profile. It helps in game. :-)

You should stop relying on pretty pictures and use your imagination. Your picture is a crutch. >(

My starting wealth roll: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3) = 6

So starting with 60gp then...

Yes 60 Gold will be your starting gold.

Yes please post rolls using the rolling method I listed above.

You can see how it is done by clicking the show button next to "How to format your text".

Your rolls should be consecutive so you will need to type it six times like so:

4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 1) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 1) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 4) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 2) = 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 4) = 13

To make a character you would just roll it on here and make it up as normal. I would keep a charcter sheet on hand if I were you.

But please also place your character information in your profiles.

You can click on Nick's character name and see how he has put his info into the sheet.

But really it should be done like this character I am posting as now.

You can see how Gozer's stats and other info is hidden but then can be opened for drop down information. The how to format your text will show you how to do that.

Actually you could play your whole character off of your profile for that character if you set it up like Gozerr's profile.

The only thing should need to post here is an account with pazio.
You do not need to join the pathfinder society.

If you want a different character than the one you post with all you have to do is create an alias.

So of those stats make sure you drop the lowest rolls.

Okay :-) So you get to change one of your 10's to a 12.

I am looking at the "character" sheet under my account, I do not see a section for the following: spells, domains, feats, etc. Do you want us to post them here? Also how do I link my character to this forum?

I do not know of a "character" sheet under the accounts.

If you click your name "Helga Jensdatter" it will take you to your character page. There should be a button to the right that says edit profile. Click that.

It will allow you to enter information into text blocks for basic things like stats, alignment, etc...

Under the about helga jensdatter part should be a blank text box.

This is where you will use the button marked show next to the "How to format Text"

It will show you how to make things bold, italics, ooc, etc..

That is how Gozer got all of that information on his about section.

Once you post you should be able to click on recent posts and see this one. Once we start in the gameplay section I can add you in from here.

I got it, thank you. First time playing PBP. I have played AD&D years ago, so thank you for allowing me to join you all.

Don't worry George, I did this because I like to play and usually do not get to and also because Karl asked if we could find a way to get you involved. I am more than happy to play.

Now it will be a lot slower than table top but I think that will be good.

I like PBP because it allows for more in character talking and actions. Some people feel timid in person or do not think that they can. So this allows people to play without feeling judged. Not that I think any of us feels that way :-)

If you have not read them yet I do have rules in the gameplay thread for when we start playing and as soon as we get characters fleshed out I plan on starting the campaign.

To give everyone a heads up I have decided to run Carrion Crown. It is an adventure path that will take you from level 1 to 17. I will not be giving out xp but rather tell you when to level.

I will need everyones emails at some point so I can send you images of maps and handouts because I do not know how to post them here.

I have started my Profile, I have not figured out how to do that hide/show feature that you are using, so everything is displayed. Do you want to see spells and such as I have it laid out, or do you want me to email those to you.

You can do the hide/show by doing the [s.poiler=reveal] then at the end type [/spoiler]

Thank I am almost finished, I just have my back story, demeanor and appearance to go. I have a couple ideas for my back story, do you want me to PM them to you first or just put them in and then have you decide if its relevant or how you want to proceed?

George, good to "meet" you. I'm Nick, a friend of Karl and Scott. Just started roleplaying yesterday. I'm a total beginner, so please take it easy with me. And I always play uncomplicated, simple characters who never lie or bend the truth.
