Paladins
Few locations in Golarion are as in need of paladins as Ustalav. Whether one sets out to vanquish evil and eliminate any remnant of the Whispering Tyrant’s long reign or to heal and bolster the downtrodden Ustalavic citizens weary of their years of suffering, there’s never a
shortage of good to be done in the Immortal Principality. Non-native paladins frequently serve Iomedae and hail from Lastwall, though holy warriors of Sarenrae are also somewhat common. In his innumerable explorations, Professor Lorrimor uncovered several holy relics and was
often accompanied by paladins of the aforementioned churches. He also had the opportunity to meet paladins while visiting religious archives throughout Golarion. Recommendations: Paladins of any variety will find
the Carrion Crown Adventure Path rife with evil to smite and innocents to save. The Undead Scourge archetype in the Advanced Player’s Guide is an especially good match for this campaign, though the Divine Defender,
Hospitaler, and Warrior of Holy Light archetypes make good alternatives. Suggested skills include Diplomacy,Knowledge (religion), and Sense Motive.

I have added some content onto the gameplay page. Throughout this campaign I will be posting links to pictures and handouts. Please do not scroll through the other pictures once on photobucket. Every picture I want you to see will have it's own link. Thank you for this in advance. :-) Please do not post in the gameplay section yet. Thank you.

Okay no more GM crap lol.
The character looks great. Good job on another well done character. Before for we start though I do ask that you pick things to go in the TBD spaces in your skills. Also you probably know this but if you spend another 300 gold you can make you longs word masterwork. If you do not do it now you can not upgrade you sword to a magic weapon later on. Which would mean scrapping your silvered sword and spend that money again.
When you add magic to an item, if that item is already masterwork you can subtract 300 from the cost of the magic upgrade since magic weapons must be masterwork first.
Plus a masterwork item gives you an extra +1 to attack.
Just some food for thought.

I was researching types of weapons and materials that are most adventageous against undead. Alchemical silver is the best starter material against undead albeit at a -1 damage (with a min damage of 1 before modifiers). Mithiral weapons would be better, however at an extra 500 gp/lb (2,000 gp extra for a longsword) I figured that would be out of the question, even with my patents being lord of the city, as well as belonging to an order of paladins whose duty is to eradicate undead.

Janis Cobermain is going to be a minor challenge (thank the lords of light I made a cleric with the sun domain). Saffron House looks interesting, I like solving a good mystery as part of the adventure. Grave robbers could pose a problem in causing the dead to raise :looks at Nick:. Just kidding Nick I am just ribbing you if you have not figured that out yet :). All in all looks like to be a fun time ahead for all of us. Too bad the paladin is what he is, if I had rolled him as an antipaladin, he would have his way with the Professor's daughter Kendra :smiles and laughs evilly:

lol What is funny is that those are stories about the area that just set the mood of the campaign. ;-)
They do not actually play a roll in the game. At least not in the first act, which is as far as I have read. I may throw in some flair with those stories down the line, such as you may notice facts from the story as you play through the game.

At least you know I read the links :). I also have been reading pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki for general background information of the region: geography, history, and religion. This has also helped me form a framework of Professor Lorrimor's background and my characters' rapport with him.

I do not think an antipaladin would have been a good fit for this adventure, since he or she would be opposed to the goals of the party unless we were fighting a "greater evil" in which the antipaladin's goals would be jeopardized.
This looks to be a fun group and adventure and I can not wait as well to start.

I always say the dryer the better ^.^
I am fine with the banter in the discussion page.
The gameplay page is the one I would like to keep as clean as possible.
If Nick responds and makes another character to start I will begin the game. This game does need four people.

No apology necessary. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And interesting sidebar: the word "Ustal" in Russian means "tired". I think paizo and more specifically whoever designed Golarion knew this. Clearly Ustalav was meant to be the tired old world eastern Europe of Avistan. Somebody at Paizo was familiar with Russian and Russian folk tales what with promoting Baba Yaga to the queen of Irrisen, chicken–legged hut and all. Ustalav is obviously Beam Stoker's Transylvania.

Lol Nick no rush. Real life will always trump game. I just get bored at work on the weekends when I have to work. Like today again. :-)
I was going to ask you about that. I sort of got that Ustalav was like Transylvania.
If Ustalav means tired in Russian does av have any meaning? Such as words in Latin like cyclops, cy-clops.
