Just wanted to just drop by and give everyone an update. I am going to be released to my house today. I'm doing well enough on the walker that I won't be needing to go into a live in rehab place at all. 2 weeks and I'll be in a removable boot and then 6 weeks and I'll be learning to walk again.
The bad part is that I don't have internet at the house and don't know how often I'm going to be able to get out to the libraries now. Not supposed to drive for at least another 6 weeks if not longer. I'll get back when I can to give you updates.
Had a doctors appointment today so I was able to talk my fiancee into taking me to the library after the appointment. Things are starting to heal and if the tingling in my foot is any indication the nerve damage I suffered won't be permanent...needs to hurry up and fix its self though because the pins and needles feeling gets really old especially at 2 AM when you're trying to sleep.
Going in next Monday to get the "cast" off and getting fitted for a walking boot. Still won't be able to walk for another 4 weeks but they want me to be able to shower and for the wounds to properly be taken care of so the boot makes that much easier. Getting more moble every day and I've pretty much mastered my walker.
Going to be looking into internet with in the next week because I'm going mad with out being able to get online. Day time tv gets very old very fast lol.
Back from my trip and the con, picking up on my games now. My posting rate should be normal now.
I think we all posted our actions, which means we are waiting on the GM to post the elemental's attack(s) on the dwarf, put our actions in the correct order and begin the next round.
So I was reading a thread and apparently it's supposed to be a dog and not a riding dog for Summon Monster I. This thread includes a statement from James Jacobs that concurs with it, but his post is from 2009, and the PRD still says Riding Dog. And it's not yet in the FAQ.
I personaly am fine with it ruled either way, but as I am playing a summoner, I would prefer to find out earlier what your opinion is, Nimon.

It seems we are down to 3 regular posters: Kimiko, Meria, and Brakkart. I understand Nimble's position and I hope her the best, but for this game to continue without a TPK we might want to reconsider some things. Either I could bump you three up an extra level, I could try to recruit another, or something else. If I have driven some of you off because this game has not been what you expected I am sorry. If you have some suggestions to make it better I will read them.
no, I don't think you drove Nimble off - remember she said she was recuperating at home and had no internet access there. Without being ambulatory, she can't get out to get to a library to post. She said 6 weeks she'd be off her feet, so we either wait the 6 weeks which is fine with me, or you could recruit, which might be awkward since the recruit would have missed the pre-quil... leveling up would be nice *grin*, but leads to a power creep if Nimble returns... but level 2 is usually pretty quick anyway, so shouldn't be a huge deal - I'll leave it up to your judgment - those are just my rambling thoughts on it all.
I think it's going well thus far, abit slower than some but faster than others. Taking into account those posters, the only one left is Anders. I play with him in another game, and he did post on Saturday (not that I'm forum stalking you or anything!), so he's still active at least. I'm with Kimiko that leveling up is fine, but don't want to push things too far ahead either. I had seen a post from Nimble in another thread that it was still going to be a couple weeks at least if I recall, let me see if I can find that.
As far as suggestions I do have one.
I think the biggest issue with slowdown was during the battle, and that was uncertainty on who's action it was. It seems to be a common thing with PBPs from my own experience. A more structured moderation on that end may help keep things moving.
Once again from my own experience, the best option is to have some form of standard format you use to let people know the status of events. The best part is you can just post the current information as a kind of 'bump' to remind people they need to act. If you'd like I can throw up a couple I've seen used that seem to work well.

No I didnt mean Nimble, as I mentioned I do understand their position and hope they get better. I will continue to try and keep the initative current to keep us on track that seemed to help. Meria you can show me what you have also. After this next encounter you were going to be 2nd level anyways, so unless others come back I will just make you 3rd then and see how that works out.
What I prefer (and do in my games) is very similar to what you were doing here...
Ander- 22shot and hit
Elemental-13 melee with dwarf/Brakkart and Kimiko
Meria-12 summoned bravest dog on earth
Kimiko-9 ranged melee with Elemental, hit
Brakkart-9- Protecting dwarf, +2 to his AC
The main difference being to put a Round on top, so it'd look more like this.
Round 1
Ander- 22shot and hit
Elemental-13 melee with dwarf/Brakkart and Kimiko
Meria-12 summoned bravest dog on earth
Kimiko-9 ranged melee with Elemental, hit
Brakkart-9- Protecting dwarf, +2 to his AC
The other part is to list it by actions.
Round 1
Ander (Standard shoot, move reload)
Elemental (Standard attack Dwarf)
Meria (Standard Summons dog, move move 30' closer)
Kimiko (Move 65', Standard attack with reach)
Brakkart (Standard Aid Another -Dwarf- AC)
It doesn't seem much different honestly, but I know for me it helps knowing where we're at. And if someone hasn't acted yet

This way we know that I'm holding us up. And provides traceability for things like Round based spells on when it was cast and such.
Just my suggestion though, please feel free to ignore it :) And I LOVED the summoned bravest dog on earth line, lol. Almost sprayed soda over my keyboard and monitor when I read it.

Ah yes, thanks for the clarification! I am kind just watching behind the curtains what is going on and usually not reacting or talking before its my turn. Seems like just in 1 day a lot happened

The dates of each post are listed, so what you are typing here is simply not true. There is no reason to lie about it, simple fact is in a PBP everyone needs to post once a day. So even if it had been the 28th, and people hadn't posted yesterday, that is still five days with out a post so this is why I had thought you had gone. Lets just try to keep the pace if we can or this will be a very long game.

I am not trying to argue but that offend me when saying that I am lieing...
First, we are waiting for other players and to conclude also the round-> This leads us to wait. Of course I could post and say something but same applies to everyone then with the rule 1 post per day. I would like to keep in order the round based fighting.
But I admit that waiting and not posting for too long time will cause different understanding according to situation. Anyway, I don´t want to fight with this and will leave it at that.

I must appologize, I have been without internet for some time, and will probably be so for a while. I was attending school on the GI bill, but for some unforseen reason they did not pay me for three months. I finally recieved back pay, but not befor lossing my appartment and falling so behind on bills that I started having things shut off. I plan on getting internet in my new place at some point, but until I can no longer continue this campaign. I am really sorry, it has been fun playing with you all. If anyone wants to jump in and continue this on my behalf you are welcome to do so.
I was wondering what had happened to you - I was enjoying the campaign,so I'll miss it - pm me if you decide to pick it up later when things improve. Until such time, I wish you the best and hop things get better for you. Good luck!
