Casts targeted greater dispel magic (no save no spell resistance)
Caster check (DC 11+Caster level for Golem):
1d20+14

His hope here is he'll nullify it for the 1d4 rounds, causing it to fall apart into scarabs again, hopefully being able to channel for a few rounds to kill the scarabs...it's worth a shot :P

While he's casting...

And then the golem bursts apart into a scarab swarm again, hundreds of scarabs all trying to crawl towards the dragon siblings, more of them still pouring through the crack in the door.

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Sweet!"
Casts stone shape to sheer up any cracks in the wall (he'll make the wall close around the door if necessary), then channels till all the scarabs in the room are dead...

It takes about three rounds to kill all of the scarabs. And now the monster is no more.

Almost before the healers can react to the threat, the beetles are withered and toasted. The healer on duty looks at the mess in dismay.

"Looks like it's time to call the janitor. Ewww. This is most definitely not sanitary..."

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Will immediately check on Ephebe and the others...then will reshape the stone around the door to the way it was...

Was male... Formerly, kobold Bonded advanced skeletal companion

Returns to normal, then stands guard outside the room after the door is restored...

Jiminy half woke up for a minute, but quickly fell back asleep. It's hard to tell what Taron is up to inside his pillow fort.

Ephebe on the other hand seems totally unaware of her surroundings and has developed a high fever.

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Nurse! Something is wrong here!"
He will begin to check her over for bite marks...
"Kam knock down Taron's stupid fort and see if he's got a fever too!"

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

What's the status spell tell Krays?
I keep forgetting that damn thing :P

No illness. No poison. No obvious reason why she would be running a fever. Finding the cause will take some serious analysis.

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Heal check:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19

Dunno what other kind of major analysis he can do...may have to leave it to others or the docs :(

Yeah, this one is pretty much over his head. There's not really anything wrong. It's more of a transformations are difficult kind of thing. Especially when some idiot decides it's a good idea to splice DNA from creatures that are mortal enemies....

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Yeah, I kinda figured it was something like that...
We need nano-bots STAT!!! :P

Krays wrote:

Having been electrifying scarabs on his side of the room, Kam quickly checks on Taron. He was sleeping, but there was no fever.

"He's okay."

"Yeah, Jiminy's fine too. Whatever's going on is specific to Ephebe....do you think this is about the un-imprinting or the other thing? I mean....do we have any way of figuring out what's going on? Or is this a wait and see kinda thing?" she asked, concerned.

"I don't know. I know the three of them are linked most of the time, but with everyone one of them asleep..."

Kamenwati wrote:

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"I don't know...the status spell tells me nothing is wrong...but she's got a fever..." Franticly looks around "Where is the damn nurse!?"

"Which means just about anything we do might stop that." Kam replies as small sparks begin to dance across his clenched fists.

EDIT: And I've got to go. See you guys later.

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Calms down a wee bit
"You guys have seen this alot more than I have...do you really think that's what is going on?"

Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7

Ephebe sat bolt upright, still utterly unaware of her surroundings. Her eyes were open wide, filled with a dull purple color, almost black, the pupils and whites gone. Her hands picked at the blankets, shredding them as her fingers transformed into claws.

Krays wrote:

"Ummm....I'm gonna go with yes?" she said, trying to keep Ephebe from getting off the bed. "Also, I'm gonna go with somebody needs to get either her mom or her uncle and fast."

Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7

Ephebe's eyes changed again, the pupils coming back in catlike slitted form as her skin began to be covered with scales as she was slowly transforming into her dragon form.

"Curtain!" Fieri yelled grabbing for one of the curtains that could block off the bed and yanking it closed. "Somebody get the other one quick!"

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Crap!!!"
Fires off a quick message to Annanda
"Daughter changing...was unconcious, infirmary QUICK!"
Then grabs the curtain...

She tried not to show any reaction at all. She looked at her second period PE class, most of whom were bent over and looking like they were ready to collapse. She shook her head. She wasn't even being hard on them.

"Alright, class, I'm wrapping things up a bit early today. Go on and hit the showers. Take a little extra breather before your next class. And tomorrow be ready to really give it your all."

She assigned a couple of less red-faced and panting students to pick up the equipment and casually stepped out into the hall before stepping into the stone and rushing towards the infirmary.

By the time Aananda got there Ephebe was rapidly cycling through her different forms. The bed had collapsed under the weight of her draconic form and one of the healers had come to investigate the noise but was firmly rebuffed. She didn't quite know how to take being ordered about by students. And even more nonplussed when she threatened to tell the Headmaster and the response was encouragement to do so as soon as humanly possible.

Male Kobold Expert 6/Slayer 8

Once all the class has arrived, Vakkler turns to a large stack of books on his desk. Each book is about three inches thick. "You there," he says to the drow. "You and the yak can pass these out."
The kobold begins pacing in front of his desk. "I understand we have some new students joining us today. Allow me to make this quite clear: This is my class. You will follow whatever orders I give. If you fail to follow the RULES, you will be DEALT WITH.
"First-time offenders get slurk duty. You clean the caves out. Slurks are vicious creatures, and don't much like non-kobolds except for eating, so it is not at all enjoyable." He glares at a random student.

"Second-time offenders are sent to assist Mrs. Aananda in her advanced class. I'm sure you've heard the rumors. To make things clear to you all, they are true.
"Third-time offenders get to join me on my next excursion to the Underdark. The last time I did that, we got three lawsuits and I had to hunt down the bodies personally. I didn't savor any of this, but I am MORE THAN WILLING to go through it again.
"All clear?"

Solivala remains seated but his orbs shoot out at the stack of books, one breaks off to stop the yak from moving towards the books. It forms into a hand and gets in his way if he tries to get around it. The other five orbs pass out the books in moments then all six fly back to orbit around Solivala.

Male Kobold Expert 6/Slayer 8

"Now then," Vakkler continues, hiding how flustered he is, "On to business. Last time we had only started on the Agarthian Invasion. Many historians died to obtain this information."
The kobold resumes his pacing. "Humans, goblins, halflings and their ilk do not live long enough to collect history. Elves, dwarves and kobolds carry biased tales. Gnomes do not care. Kender are extinct. History is elusive, but there is one species which records it with as much enthusiasm as they can muster for anything. Who knows what an aboleth is?" He points to Solivala. "You, drow."

Male (?) Unknown, (Host Body) Drow Metal Elementalist 17

Knowledge (Arcana, Dungeoneering, History):

1d20 + 32 ⇒ (6) + 32 = 38
1d20 + 32 ⇒ (2) + 32 = 34
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (3) + 19 = 22

Let me know if Agartha aboleth are different or the same as whats given in the Bestiary about them. Edit- Man those are some bad rolls, to bad my skill mastery does not work on Knowledge rolls >.<

Same. It's easier on everyone that way. But Prof Relkav might want to adjust the personality or history a bit. Which would be totally fine. Or leave it as is. Also totally fine.

Aananda rushed in through the wall, and took a minute to assess the situation. She put a hand on Ephebe's forehead. Even in draconic form she was burning up.

"Icepacks," she said. "We need icepacks and a lot of them. Hopefully that will at least slow down the changes. And the fever."

Male (?) Unknown, (Host Body) Drow Metal Elementalist 17

Solivala takes a moment.

"Aboleth are among the worlds oldest forms of life, some thoerize they were ancient even before the gods took interest in the material plane. Their minds are considered alien and cold by other races with highly complex plans. It is thought that in the past Aboleth ruled the whole of the world with a vast empire unmatched by any after. Their view of other races is one of food or slave, they consider themselves above all others even gods. While their empire has fallen from its former glory they do have some cities and hunt for new slaves to serve them even today."

He pauses slightly.

"I could also relate their physical and magical abilities but I think that is off topic."

Makes a mad dash for the cabinets...and rummages through them. looking for the elusive ice packs...upon locating them he grabs armfuls at a time and takes the mto Aananda...looking worried

"Correct, though stated rather dramatically. Aboleth are highly intelligent, and there are a very few who enjoy recording the events of the world around them. Their names are listed in the back of the book. Sadly, the 'recordings' are found inside their own bizarre minds.

"Not only does this mean that the death of the aboleth can mean the death of a massive amount of information, it means explorers must put themselves at great risk to acquire said information. The price is always high--often too high for the explorer to pay.
"As such, there is some information missing from the books you hold. Some secrets, such as the actual origins of Agartha, and what lies above, are far too expensive. Do not judge the authors for this. Most of them are now beyond caring, but it's the principle of the matter.

"Now! Turn to page sixty-seven and begin studying. The test starts in ten minutes."

Aananda had Krays help her pack the icepacks around Ephebe as best they could given how much her form was changing.

"Okay, that's the best we can do for now. I have a program working on analyzing her genetic profile to try and figure out what changes were made. I'll give it a kick and see if we can't get the answers a little faster. That may give me some idea what's going on right now and how we can help her. Just keep the ice packs on her and keep her in the bed. Hopefully this won't take long."

She was trying to stay calm and not panic the kids, but she was really worried. And wishing that Tam wasn't halfway across the galaxy right now. When she'd said she could hold down the fort for a while she hadn't realized just how crazy things were going to get. She went to the control console she kept in the infirmary for programming nanites and tapped into her main database and started working on speeding up the analysis program.

Solivala did not bring up the fact that information could be gained after death, even with out magic when using his nanites. As long as the brain was recovered nothing would be lost.

He did not bother to turn to page sixty seven, he started on the first page and scanned it in a few seconds moving on to the next. In ten minutes he would be well pass page sixty seven.

Does his best to follow Aananda's orders...

Sitting in the rafters unnoticed by the group of family and friends below, Lysander seems completely calm. It seemed Ephebe was his cousin in more than one way.

Crossing his legs and leaning against the wall, Lysander let's the white fire that resides inside his spirit flare and imagines it dropping "into" Ephebe to hold her fever off long enough for her mother's tech to find it's cause.

If he was lucky, she wouldn't even remember the flames that were burn gently in her fevered dreams.

"AHEM."
Vakkler wanted to avoid the drow, he really did. But if the students detected weakness, his authority would be crushed in one day. He couldn't allow that to happen, drow or no drow.
He glares at Solivala. "What were my instructions?"

Solivala turns another page before slowly looking up.

"To study page sixty seven."

He looks back down turning over another page, it is page seventy eight.

"Well," the kobold growls, "Since you have so much free time, you can put that to use cleaning the slurk dens. Tonight work for you? Excellent." The professor turns and starts walking amongst the other students, glaring all around.

The orbs break off from Solivala and begin to orbit Vakkler, stopping him from moving without running into them.

"I believe that is a detention, otherwise it is a request that I am free to decline. If it is a dentention it would require me to have broken a school rule, which I have not. Would you please clarify?"

Solivala's full attention was now on the kobold as he looked his way.

"Apparently, you have MISUNDERSTOOD. Let me REPEAT this: MY WORD IS LAW." Vakkler reaches up and pounds the desk with his fist. "I told you to start at page sixty-seven. You started at page one. You might think you're being clever. But I AM YOUR INSTRUCTOR. You have failed to obey an INSTRUCTION. SLURKS. TONIGHT."

Male (?) Unknown, (Host Body) Drow Metal Elementalist 17

Solivala brings up two fingers, the orbs rocket back around him.

"You are mistaken."

He rises from his seat and makes his way to the door.

"I will report to someone who's word means something. Good day."

Solivala leaves the classroom, after shutting the door behind him he cast a spell. A dark cloud forms around him and he floats slightly above the ground, he moves off in the direction of his target.

He cast Locate Creature for Aananda. Trying to avoid using the scout orbs >.<

Vakkler nods as Solivala leave. "Good riddance. Those who are not prepared to follow simple commands had best stick to the easier classes."

Solivala glides thru the halls until reaching the infirmary, he opens the door and enters.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire. ;)
