Isuri climbs the stairs to the main deck, slaughtering anyone in the way and jumps overboard swimming to freedom.
Alex cringes at the sounds of the slaughter above deck. In the confusion he manages to find his gear and waits for the sounds to cease, knowing the coast was probably clear. He begins to ascend the steps but hesitates. He wanted to secure his own escape swiftly but he couldn't leave an innocent behind. Wasn't like him. He goes back to the supply room and grabs the girl from earlier. He sits her on his back and adjusts his back pack to cradle her limp form. He then heads up the steps, willing himself to ignore the gore around him and leaps over the side of the ship to the water below. He sinks below the surface for only a moment before the water seems to push him back up and onto the surface. When he sees lands he starts running and only looks back to see the others leap over as well.
