Everyone please post where you are going, and how you are investigating. Please don't just post a die roll, or a tell me you are going to assist someone that hasn't even acted yet. I am going to retcon the last bit and repost the situation in hopes that it is clear to everyone.
I've started having some serious computer problems the last couple of days and this may lead to spotty posting until I can replace it. Hopefully that won't be the case and I will keep you updated as best I can until then.

I haven't but that is one of the reasons I took on so many. always a couple that drop off.
Jabaxa is not playing. I will use different profiles for NPCs to help the story, after all a picture is worth a 1000 words. Jabaxa is part of the published AP.

Ah ok. Yes he is playing a version of black jack. The game goes to 31, and doubles of the same color that were play consecutively can be any number.
Basically with a computer, infosphere access and two minutes you can take 20 on a lot of knowledge things. Makes sense that we should be doing that in game. Checking on GM preference of everyone doing it a lot although.

In Absalom I have no problem with that, though as you witnessed 2mins looking at your computer can be distracting if attempting to multitask. I don't expect anyone to try that in combat unless they want to sit it out.
I am not sure how to make my clues more obvious. I gave you guys a member of the collective and no one asked him anything. He wasn't just a date for Scera (sorry not running a romance novel). Duanimon hasn't seemed to have shared the obvious clue I gave him on who was following you. Its a PbP folks, help me out.

V'althorais is a member of the Collective? Actually, I guess that does make a lot of sense. As to the kasatha, he did say to the group that he was from Level 21. In any case, personally I have no objection to the current pace of the investigation. We've missed some things, but we're still making progress and have a number of leads. How does everyone else feel?
I thought that we were supposed to be going after the stuff someone was asking Garland to do... I had no idea we were supposed to butt in on the date and ask questions. And I can't figure out whether we are supposed to leave the station or not. I thought maybe the ship was taken away to force us to stay on the station, but then astrotaxis, and now I think Garland is supposed to tell us of a ship we're supposed to do something with. I thought the guy following us was just a game consequence of my bluff at the docks, which is why I thought we had that rewind of the dwarf miner and instead got a trinket lady. And I thought the date was just an inclusive DM thing, getting everyone involved and giving them their own tasks and challenges. I thought he might be a bad guy, not a contact. Good thing you got his number Scera. :)
Suffice it to say, I have no idea what is going on. I thought we were on the right track with the Garland thing, and wasn't frustrated at all... but if we're not "getting" something, and are missing obvious things, then I am lost and not sure what is expected.
Recap-You were made provisional Starfinders to investigate the death of Duravor Kreel. So far you know that the Level 21 crew was hired by the Hardscrabble Collective as muscle when a deal with the Astral Extractions went south and you believe the Downside Kings work for the Astral Extractions. I am trying to be accommodating with everyone going their own separate ways, but it is frustrating when I blatantly give the leads and they are not followed through.
Zetara, you are right in your assumptions about the bluff at the docks.
All I am saying is if I give you an NPC that says "I need to go work for the collective now" he might be a good source of information about the collective.
This format can be difficult in some ways. If you need clarification just ask and please reread when you can other people's posts ect so we are all on the same page.

My computer search revealed the V'alorais as a cargo pilot for an Absalom company, my bad assuming we were looking for a Diaspora one. I thought since the Level 21 were hirelings, the Hardscrabble were more who we wanted to talk too as the Downside Kings are potentially too hostile.

You shouldn't read other's spoilers. You should however, share whats in your spoiler in character with the rest of the party if its pertinent. Diaspora is where there job was, but the Hardscrabble Collective resides in the armada outside of Absalom Station.
Sorry I've been having some laptop issues so if I missed any pertinent information in my post, I'll add it when I get to work and can look back on the details more easily on a computer rather than my phone.

V'althorais has not agreed to assist the starfinders or even knows you are starfinders. He is just a humanoid that finds a female Lashunta very attractive (which is very much in the characteristic of female Lashuntas). He might have been willing to help had anyone asked.
Yeah, now that I realize the connection I'm taking steps to try and get that help, or at least a line of information.

Good to go. Ehron is modified per Alien Archive as noted previously (STR went from 11 to 10) and leveled up.
Kov'i is all levelled up as well.
Okay, Zetara is leveled.
Took 2 new spells = Token Spell (like prestidigitation), and Disguise Self. (Also found the DC formula, which is just like Pathfinder. Added it to my alias so I don't forget again. :)
Also got a Magic Hack... Selective Targeting, which lets me leave an ally out of Overheat (& any other instantaneous area effect spells), so I can still cast it if a good guy is in the way.
Crazy freaking maintenance. Driving me batty due to the timing of it all. It's literally been down for two days at my prime posting time (mornings before work) both days now.

No money for that last one, basically just working off the advance. Compensation for the one from the Eox guy is to be negotiated.
