Life's been busy and it seems like it has been for others also.
The party slips through the pool of acid (2 damage) and finds themselves in a tubelike tunnel. The round 10' diameter tunnel features a smoother, firmer "skin" than the surface of Occipitus. It descends steeply for about 20 feet, then levels out. It then rises in a spiral course. You are apparently going to rise up into the skull itself. The curves aare about every 50' to 100'. There is no light except for the light from the lantern.

Toffitt drinks his remaining extract of invisibility and begins climbing forward on the wall.

Dyrant casts glitterdust on the giant, but he shrugs it off and the glitter doesn't reveal the rakshasa to be nearby. Toffitt gets in a good slash before just barely tumbling away. Finneas casts protection from evil, while Glimmil tries to steal all the glory. The giant remains standing though and Atol blesses the party.
The giant tries to kill Glimmil, but only manages to land half of his blows (78 damage). Beyond the giant, the rakshasa can be heard casting a spell.

Toffitt lets everyone know where the rakshasa is and Dyrant lobs an acid ball that sets the tunnel to rumbling while burning the giant. Finneas moves up to make the giant take on someone his own size while Glimmil pulls back for a moment to heal up.
A wave heads up the tunnel as it tries to vomit up everyone. It's only a small wave, but it's enough to knock Atol off his feet and spin a flying Dyrant about (not prone since he's flying).
