Ignoring this sign, Makon instead charges the archer, bringing his axe down in a furious arc that impacts squarely with the floor tile just next to the wide-eyed archer's foot (just missed).
The red brute sways, dazed by Tarael's magic.

Exiting the Shrine, trove of documents in hand, you're just in time to witness sir Reinhart's attempt at divinity. He sits astride his charger, armor gleaming in the sun, a clear path to the gorge laid out before him. When the moment is right he spurs forward his noble steed, gathering speed before the magnificent beast leaps, sailing majestically through the air. The crowd gasps as, for a moment, it seems he may never come down. Only for a moment. When the moment has passed, the inevitable happens, and the crowd begins to disperse even before he has fallen completely out of site. You turn and head back to the lodge, knowing that you'll have quite the story to tell next time you find yourselves among your fellow agents at the Wounded Wisp.
That's the end! I'll get your chronicle sheets up soon.

![]() |

Traianus, covered in his own blood, looks on admiringly at Sir Reinhart. "That, my friends, was magnificent."
It's not entirely clear whether he's referring to you or the falling knight.

Nuethro just shakes his head at the stupidity of those trying to become a god.

Mar Leigh sees the long, graceful leap turn into a deep plunge. He begins to strum on his lute.
"Well I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And de sun went down as I crossed de hill
And de town lit up, ee world got still
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is de hardest thing
Well, de good ol' days may not return
And de rocks might melt and de sea may burn
I'm learning to fly (learning to fly) but I ain't got wings (learning to fly)
Coming down (learning to fly) is de hardest thing (learning to fly)"
"I tink maybe dat if jou wanna be a god, maybe jou should learn to fly BEFORE making dat big jump."

Makon looks at the knight disapear and shrugs,,, Hey did we finish our mission? Did we win?

Son of Cayden is doing back vocals that Mar Leigh put in brackets... :)
