Not able to make heads or tails of the room, you decide to leave the corpses to rest in peace wisely! and continue on, into the next room, a dusty chamber that holds only a 3-foot-tall ornate pedestal set against the north wall. Several objects -- five ivory sticks, three inlaid and bejeweled bowls, a crumbling bamboo fan and the remains of a feather fan -- are neatly arranged on the flat, marble surface of the pedestal around a stone statuette of a hideous, two-headed monster.
Another door is set in the eastern wall. Dungeon map is updated.

The thing does indeed radiate evil, and Khazmia disintegrates it, making everyone breathe a little easier, especially after no ill comes of the destruction.
You continue on, moving westbefore the passageway turns north and then back east -- where the floor suddenly gives way, a yawning pit opening up under Linah and Zstelian! DC 20 Reflex save or take 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 damage
Moving past that, you make it to a large chamber, where a blazing fire burns under a rectangular hole in the 60-foot-tall ceiling. Just north and south of the entrance on the far side of the room, flights of stairs lead up to balconies that run along the room's sides at a height of 15 feet. Wooden doors are set into the far walls of both balconies.
You emerge from the gaping mouth of a man-sized stone visage, which you notice has been badly cut and defaced -- perhaps by the six skinwalkers in the room! They notice you as you reach the entrance and cry out an alarm as they reach for their weapons!

Linah darts into the room, weapon cutting into the skinwalker, though the electricity seems to cauterize the wound almost as soon as it's made.
The three closest converge on the paladin, jabbing at her with their spears and their demon-lion skins raking and biting at her. Despite their best efforts, the first blow almost hitting her, she weaves and sways, letting the worst of the blows hit harmlessly off her armor.
Behind her, the three other skinwalker swarm the door, blocking anyone else from entering as Zstelian deflects their jabs with their tribal spears. Note, the two on the corners are considered to have cover (as are you from them) from the wall.

Despite the tight cover and Zstelian being in the way, Kyson manages to barely hit his target with the fireball, softening it up for the old Varisian to slice into it, though its manages to block many of his blows.
Sekathral, newly invisible, puts a slug into it, but it stays on its feet and continues its attack and defense of the doorway as its two companions harry Zstelian with jabbing spears. Other two are doing aid another, though one of them failed. Even with that, no hits against Zstelian.
In the room, Linah's blade seems to cut through the thing's defenses like a knife through butter after it's been sitting out in Sarenrae's light for hours and it falls to the ground, wounds pouring blood onto the hard surface. Wow.
The other two press their attack, one of them clawing the paladin and stabbing her with its spear, just missing breaking her neck as it slides off her collarbone. 14 hp to Linah

Kyson burns the skinwalker blocking the door, and Zstelian hacks him down before turning his attention to one of the others flanking the door -- cutting him down as well.
Behind him, Khazmia teleports herself into the rom, bringing along Sekathal ("Ta, love, that's great!"), who unloads his barrel into one of the skinwalkers attacking Linah. His flinch as the bullet rips through his skin is enough to let the paladin cut him down, leaving her with apparently only one enemy to face.
But just as you start to feel more confident about emerging from this latest fight, five more skinwalkers emerge from the balcony above, four of them carrying longbows, while the fifth has a flaming spear!
Two of the archers shoot at Linah, while two more target Khazmia but all are rushing too much and the arrows harmlessly hit the ground.
The other two floorbound skinwalkers continue their assaults on Linah and Zstelian, one of them scratching the old Varisian. 7 hp

Kyson and Zstelian put down the last skinwalker that was blocking the door as Linah and Sekathral take care of the last of the foes on the ground level.
Khazmia takes to the sky and blasts one of the skinwalkers but the other two duck the blasts. They return fire with arrows, as does the female skinwalker to the south. A few of the arrows fly wide, but most hit as the Keleshite princess finds herself pincushioned, black-shafted arrows jutting from her skin like needles from a cushion back home 39 hp. One of the creatures instead intones a spell, the words alone seeming to foul the air, and moments later, Sekathral appears, his invisibility ended.
It's casting dispel magic.
The last of the skinwalkers, the one with the burning spear, descends and takes up a guard stance by the stairs.

Kyson's fireball hits his foe, but seems to have no effect, other than to draw the skinwalker's attention. Khazmia's spell is more effective -- though not as much as she'd hoped -- but draws even more attention to the sorceress.
Below her, Seka disappears again, starting up the stairs, while Zstelian 48 hp plus 18 fire damage and Linah close on the large skinwalker guarding the base of the stairs. They discover his defense is far more effective than the others they've faced, though they still draw blood.
Worse, though, his offense is similarly more deadly as he stabs repeatedly at Zstelian before sliding to the north to block off the stairs and swinging shield and letting lions' claws and fangs rake Linah 23 hp. Arrows from the balcony slam into the floor around them, one managing to hit Linah as she's bumped backward by her primary opponent's shield 11 more hp; Skinwalkers 8 and 11 are using bows.
The two remaining skinwalkers the two on the balcony to the northeastfocus on the party's two spellcasters, one casting at Khazmia while the other unleashes a fireball right in front of Kyson. The first spell has no effect, as Khazmia's spell resistance turns it aside, but the other roars across the room, though again doesn't affect Khazmia everyone else except Seka, 52 hp fire damage; DC 19 save for half

Kyson heals Zstelian, who flings his blades at one of the archers, dropping her to the ground. The draws a roar from the skinwalker fighting Linah and Sekathral, who bleeding from several new wounds from the two of them, closes on Zstelian in a fury.
The big skinwalker's spear jabs repeatedly, finding its way through Zstelian's guard and into his chest twice 68 hp, 17 of which is fire damage, as his shield batters into him. Just when it feels like it can't get worse, the lion claws around is neck rake down the old Varisian's side and 23 more hp.
Black tentacles appear on the balcony, but seem to struggle to grab the skinwalkers, which move away from the black mass.
One of them bumps into the invisible Sekathral who can get an AoO, but then lashes out at the obstacle in its path, missing badly, though the lion's nose starts snuffling loudly, clearly picking up the smoky elf's scent.
The other two gesture toward Khazmia and Kyson, scarlet rays of fire surging toward them and blackening flesh. 11 and 17 points of fire damage to Khaz (SR was overcome); 17 and 16 for Kyson.

DESCRIPTION
A blast of furnace-hot wind blasts downward, inflicting 4d6 fire damage +1 point per caster level to all creatures in the area and knocking them prone. A successful Fortitude save halves the fire damage and negates being knocked prone. Flying creatures forced into the ground by the powerful downdraft take damage as if they fell unless they make a DC 15 Fly check, in which case they remain at their original altitude.
Any creature that takes damage from a sirocco becomes fatigued (or exhausted, if already fatigued, such as from a previous round of exposure to a sirocco spell).

Kyson heals Zstelian again, the big Varisian resuming his assault on his attacker, though again the skinwalker manages to turn most of his thrusts aside. He's joined in his assault by Sekathral, his rapier soaked in blood from his strike against the skinwalker descending the stairs, and Linah, though they too seem to have trouble penetrating the big enemy's guard. Seka, you don't have flanking, but worse, the big man seems to know where you are somehow.
Beset on all sides, he launches a furious attack at all three of his foes, spear jabbing at Zstelian 27 hp, 7 of which is fire, shield slamming into Linah 8 hp and lion head claws and teeth cutting into Sekathral 19 hp.
The skinwalker descending the stairs pulls free of the tentacles and closes in on the elf, spear raised as if he knows exactly where he is now.
Across the room, Khazmia's burning winds seem to have minimal effect on the skinwalkers, though you can see a few beads of sweat on them. They resisted almost all the damage, but they took some, so are fatigued. They both cast and Khazmia feels her mind go blank for a second before she can think normally again, while Kyson similarly blanks for a second. Kyson, need a DC 21 Will save or your Intelligence and Charisma drop to 1 when you become a feeblemind; Khaz, your SR protected you.
