Savol Kodiakborne is a living legend. Now he returns home to the North to claim his ancestral homelands and with your help he just might get that chance.

Indeed, technique is everything. In Jediah's case, due to his size, the proper form is to face his opponent, crouch so he's eye-to-eye, then take a firm grip with both hands about shoulders-width apart. Then squeeze. :P

So - I'm still trying to figure out how to open up the obliette, and push Anastasiya's new boyfriend down to visit with his new houseguests. Call me a sucker for poetic justice.
Thanks for that, DM. ;)
I didn't realize that the Weidjadr had reach, or I would have explicitly specified.
@Rutilux - Sorry, I'm sure we can get infected by unknown illnesses together some other time!
Dagmar and Anastasiya you only need 8 hours of rest to get spells back it can be broken by taking a watch. It just means that you could do anything strenuous tonight so hopefully no-one decides to run a marathon

Though by breaking up their rest they would need to sleep longer than eight hours in total before refreshing spells. This is true of all arcane spellcasters (emphasis mine):

To prepare his daily spells, a wizard must first sleep for 8 hours. The wizard does not have to slumber for every minute of the time, but he must refrain from movement, combat, spellcasting, skill use, conversation, or any other fairly demanding physical or mental task during the rest period. If his rest is interrupted, each interruption adds 1 hour to the total amount of time he has to rest in order to clear his mind, and he must have at least 1 hour of uninterrupted rest immediately prior to preparing his spells.
Even movement is too strenuous, so taking a watch would definitely interrupt the rest period and require an extra hour. As such they should probably take first and last watch, respectively.

I guess we had better not need to pee in the middle of the night then or that would add an extra hour.
Indeed. Or sleep through it; wetting your bed doesn't take much effort.
Though it does create an interesting problem for the elderly wizard: He can't refresh his spells because he was up every hour to use the toilet. Meanwhile the elderly cleric laughs at this trouble and refreshes his spells daily with no problem.
Just so its stated. The vast majority of the survivors can speak and you understand common, only a few of the most elderly don't understand it and one or two seem to understand but only speak skald.

Sorry for my absence. My computer was possessed for a bit: Seems I should have uninstalled WoW a few years ago, when I last cancelled my game account. I started the updater while considering playing again, and it turns out they optimized the client files in that time. The launcher started the process on my machine, and for some reason it played havoc with my system files.

UNless our good DM objects to the above , I've decided Rutilux has a cousin heading north as well as was mentioned as a possibility in the recruitment thread
I don't mind people adding more character to the game... Just not more Characters (so don't expect her to be able to do more than a servant unless you take leadership later)
And welcome back Andreas, I was starting to worry that you had dropped out

Nope, I don't intent to go anywhere. If you want to rid yourself of the paladin you'll have to use one of the old tried and true methods: banishment to an otherworldly dimension or eaten by a dragon.
... actually, given the setting, let's forget about the second one.
if anyone wants to do anything before leaving feel free to post in gameplay including any interactions you want with any NPCs.. Or feel free to hassle Julian about his stature compared to ulfen.kidding
I was actually contemplating making derogatory remarks about his stature, but Dagmar doesn't want to speak to him anytime soon. That and she has enough of a temper she might get physical with him and that would be bad for her. :)
