Felicia runs forward through the door, seeing just a glimpse of the man through the second open door. With a furious jab, she launches a bolt of energy through, trying to clip him.

Iago, determined to be at the forefront of the battle and shield the others with his divine magic, runs past both Felicia and Roth and finds the Redbrand with another in a dead-end room. Not sure what to make of this he stops to guard the exit and glances at the rogue and magic-user for guidance. However he suspects that any friend of the Redbrand is an enemy of his so waves his mace menacingly awaiting their next action

Ràghnall fires an arrow as he stands, but still feeling a little woozy the arrow skitters of the fall and flies high over everyone's heads.

Arvhil steps forwards swinging his flail at the Ruffain on his right, but the man ducks under the weapon.

Rothwillian rushes forward chasing the retreating Redbrand, he finds himself in what appears to be a wizard’s workshop. A rat scurries across the floor and takes refuge under a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange-looking tomes.

The fleeing Redbrand is in the next room, A bedchamber, the walls are covered with drapes of scarlet cloth. The furnishings include a small writing desk with matching chair, a comfortable-looking bed, and a wooden chest at the foot of the bed.

A short, dark-bearded human male in robes, stands next to the desk, the chair behind him as if he'd just been sitting. He wears a princely mantle of ermine. A beautiful glass staff leans against his chair, within easy reach.

Felicia runs in as well, arcane power coursing from her hand as she jabs it at the ruffian, the energy blasts into his shoulder, blasting a hole straight through him as he slams into the wall!!
RB3 is dead

Iago charges in, determined to protect his allies!

One sword strike makes it past Arvhil's defendes, winding a gap in his armour and leaving a scratch on his side!

The wizard grabs his glass staff, he raps the end on the ground once, saying some arcane words, blue plates of energy suddenly materialise around his body like armour and then fade from view. He then runs to the wall, presses a hidden switch and runs out of a secret door!

After him! Don't let him get away! Iago calls to Roth and Felicia. His short pause to assess the situation now forgotten as he continues to sprint after the leader of the Redbrands. Through the secret door he runs and catches the wizard and tries to cut him off by circling around.

Iago charges thought the secret door, up some stairs and through another disguised door! It takes a second to register that he's back in the chamber with the crevasse... he catches up with the wizard and tries to circle around him to prevent escape...

To the north, Glasstaff chants, a silvery mist envelopes him and suddenly he winks ou5 of existence, appearing 30ft to the south! He keeps running to the south, "Don't let them follow me! Kill them all" he screams at the Redbrands as he dashes past...

Iago damns the wizard's base and cunning magic. Glasstaff has revealed himself a coward!

Then he vaguely sees Arvhil drop to the ground under the attacks of the Redbrand toughs. Cursing these evil people he calls upon his god again to strike them with great vengeance and furious anger. He moves towards them his hands filling with golden light before he casts it at the closest villain. You shall not survive this day! You have chosen a wicked life and now My God will send you to eternal purgatory!

Not really unfortunately, Lay on hands takes an action and you've been attacking every round. You'd been injured before and this round they scored two hits on you. One a critical hit.

Iago casts his beam of golden light at the Redbrand, it blasts into the man's back, burning so painfully that the thugs legs almost give out. H becomes enveloped in the golden glow, making him an easy target!

Felicia dashes after Glasstaff, but the wizard has a big lead...

Arvhil succeeds on his first death Save!

The Ruffians go to dash across the southern bridge but then remember that it's rigged to collapse, so instead they charge towards the northern bridge and cross over. The soft,y glowing one reaches Iago and attacks viciously with his sword. Iago blocks one thrust with his shield and the other blow is so clumsy that it goes no where near the cleric...

The blow wrecks the man's torso and, instantly dead, he tumbles into the ravine! Taking some poetic license but it's Iago's first crit! Iago points at the last Redbrand and with wild eyes rolling he booms,
Cast down your weapon. You have lost this battle. Only death awaits if you oppose us! He stands his ground ready to do battle but hoping the Redbrand might flee or surrender...

Felicia, moving with a sense of purpose, dashes further through the caverns, skidding into the hallway and around the corner. As soon as she spies Glasstaff, she scowls and sends a message into his mind.

The remaining redbrands eyes follow the limp body of his ally as it falls with a thud into the ravine! He stares at Iago and after a fraction of a seconds thought he casts down his sword with a clatter just as Ràghnall's arrow soars over his head!

Redbrand 4 surrenders!

Felicia and Rothwillian continue to run through the hallway after Glasstaff, rounding a corner they see him holding a dripping wet leather satchel. He gives Felicia an odd look. He holds out his hand palm towards her. As he chants blue orbs fly around his hand and then flash out pummelling Felicia!

Magic Missile (lvl 2 slot): 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 4) + 4 = 12

The magic missiles leave her hurting all over as Glasstaff turns and continues to run up the stairs towards the ruined manor above

Climbing nimbly up the side if the crevasse comes the Nothic, sideling up to the still form of Arvhil, it grabs the paladin by the leg and begins dragging him back towards the ravine!

Seeing the Nothic dragging his ally Arvhil and the Redbrand cast down his weapon, he eyes the brigand one last time saying, I have chosen to spare you this time but trouble us more and I will have no option but to end your life...

With that he moves quickly to Arvhil's side and summons the divine radiance upon his wounds whilst glaring at the one-eyed monstrosity.

Felicia staggers under the swift blows from the missiles. With a snarl, she staggers forward, breath coming ragged now. Shaking her head clear of the haze of pain, she mentally stabilizes the magic wrapping her hex around the wizard. Raising a finger, drawing on every ounce of oomph she has, a lance of eldritch magic streaks out towards him.

You become Stable, a stable creature is still unconscious and regains 1 Hp after 1d4 hours (unless it receives healing before that time...

Due to the way we are running initiative, and because Iago healed you this round you can take an action instead of rolling a death save...

Raghnall dashes past the surrendering Redbrand to try and stop the Nothic from dragging Arvhil into the pit.

Iago dashes down the other way, forgetting in his haste that the southern bridge is rigged to collapse! As he steps onto the bridge he feels it begin to give way, leaping with all his might he manages to grab hold of the edge and cast his healing spell on Arvhil!

Rothwillian closes the distance with Glasstaff, his rapier drawn, demanding surrender!

Felicia, staggers under the rain of magic missiles but then puts everything she has left into a blast of magic directed at Glasstaff, the magic streaking from her outstretched finger and slamming into the wizard!

Glasstaff reels from Felicia"s magical blast but he still up. He smirks at Rothwillian, and tries to grab the halfling as his hand arcs with electricity!
Shocking Grasp: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Roth is just too quick though and he ducks out of the way!

Glasstaff's smirk turns into a frown of frustration and with a growl he lets out an incantation and silvery mist envelopes him once more, when it clears the wizard has teleported again! He runs out of the hideout and into the ruins of the manor above!

You can still chase him, he's about 55ft away from Rothwillian.

The Nothic lets go of Arvhil and tries to knock Iago off the edge of the crevasse!

Iago needs to roll a Str (athletics) check beating DC11 or fall into the crevasse taking:

Feeling the healing energy course through him, Arvhil gets up and seeing the Nothic attacking Iago, he swings his flail and smashes the creature.

Continuing his swing he brings the flail around and attempts to strike the Nothic once again.

Raghnall's arrow soars over the Nothic head, the flickering torchlight throwing off the ranger's aim.

Arvhil spins his flail, it glances off the Nothic's shoulder grazing the thing's tough hide, but his next blow cracks right on the side of it's head, crushing bone and brain! It falls limply to the stony floor!

Iago finds himself lying in a layer of old brittle bones, mostly of small creatures like rats and birds but there is the odd larger bone... about ten feet away, he sees the shape of a large treasure chest!

Still to act Rothwillian and Felicia, Glasstaff has escaped to the ruined manor above but you can still give chase! He's about 55ft from Rothwillian's position!

Iago wheezes as he catches his breath, panting for a moment before rising to check for broken bones. He hears Arvhil's call and sees the rope drop down beside him. Finding no massive damage, just bruising and sore muscles, he grasps the rope and begins to climb.
Athletics Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Never fear good Arvhil, the Turm calls back up to the Paladin. I am able-bodied still and will be up in a moment. Did they catch that cursed Wizard?

He arcs backwards screaming in pain and collapses forwards into a crumbling cabinet, breathing heavily...

Meanwhile back in the cavern Rothwillian jogs back in to see Iago climbing out of the crevasse with Arvhil and Raghnall's help.
