Questionnaire

How much experience do you have in RPG’s?

20+ years, everything from AD&D to Vampire the Masquerade

How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?

I am currently Gming 3 games and playing in 9, although several of them seem to be stalling out.

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out.

I have GMed and played in book one of Reign of Winter. I am currently running Reign of Winter in book two.

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?

Yes.

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game?

Yes.

As there any other information you would like to share?
Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself?

Tracking experience is a rarity in PbP and I'm interested to see how it works out.

Cast your character (who plays them in the movie/TV show and budget is no limit)

Presenting Alec Fuornklin for your consideration.

Questionnaire

How much experience do you have in RPG’s?
Been playing for more than 30 years, played a number of different systems -- and playing PbP on these boards for 8 or so, now, I think...

How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?
I'm playing in 3 PF and one Dresden. Not GMing any.

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out.

I've started Reign of Winter with three different characters online, and never yet made it to level 2. ;) It's been taunting me all this time...

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?
Not an issue.

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game?

Sure, I've done it before.

As there any other information you would like to share?

As I said, been playing for decades, usually GM a weekly group (in person), but have an 11-month old daughter -- which really kills one's ability to follow a strict schedule (and let's not even pretend to talk about prep time)... So PbP is how I get my gaming fix. ;) Also, I can pretty much guarantee I'll miss 2 weeks per year or so for vacations, etc -- but will always give notice.

Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself?

Never done that for a PbP, but done it forever with paper - so no issues.

Character
Will build crunch tonight when the wee one is sleeping (squeezing this in at naptime) -- since every time I've tried a bard or skill character for this, I'm going in a different direction -- have a few ideas rolling about , but think I'm heading toward a cavalier.

All right, here's the link to the mostly-complete page of my winter witch, Letitia Frost.

Casting call: I have to go with Skyler Samuels from The Gifted. Letitia's one of three triplets, so I'm going with Ms. Samuels.

Background for Letitia Frost:

Helka Elvanna, baroness of the town Ledenica within the province of Thronehold and niece of Queen Elvanna, was briefly the talk of the wintry nation when she gave birth to triplets in AR 4696 -- seventeen years before the expected end of the current queen's reign. She immediately set about training her daughters in the ways of witchcraft and preparing them to rule. She had lofty expectations of both herself and her daughters when Baba Yaga returned to install a new daughter on the throne.

Her three daughters, Letitia, Lobelia, and Lucretia, all showed excellent promise. They were beautiful, white-haired and blue-eyed darlings and everything that their mother could have hoped for. They were given the finest tutoring as they grew up in the town on the Marbleflow River. Strangely enough, despite the lessons in the ruthlessness of Irriseni politics, the three girls were incredibly close and looked after each other. Whenever one faltered, the other two would be there to help her up.

Their lives in Ledenica was idyllic for the daughters of a winter witch. Their favorite Uncle Lazlo would take them to see the Marbleflow River and sometimes they would watch the hired adventurers that were sent to deal with the threats that would shamble out of the Frozen Fog.

On their fifteenth birthday, they were sent into the frozen wilds near their home to find their familiars. Lobelia found an arctic fox, while Lucretia made a connection with a white snow cat. Letitia, however, didn't find an animal to bond with.

The girls explored for several days, fighting the elements as Letitia tried everything to find a familiar. Frustration mounted, as did desperation. Finally, Lobelia suggested she charm an animal and pass it off as Letitia's familiar. Finding an arctic hare, they managed to capture it and return to their mother with their shared triumph.

Helka didn't notice the ruse, more concerned with the completion of their trials in the eyes of society than their actual success. Letitia kept the rabbit with her and relied upon her sisters' magic to fool their mother and instructors. They managed to keep up the ruse for four months until they were visited by Queen Elvanna herself.

The queen met at length with Helka while the triplets fretted over the queen's reasons for visiting. What sorts of business were conducted and what matters of state were discussed, the girls could only guess. But ultimately, when the two witches exited their chambers, something had been decided, and at least a portion of it involved Helka's girls.

The triplets were told to present themselves before their queen. Queen Elvanna smiled without warmth as she explained the trio were to go with her to Whitethrone to undertake study and tutelage within her own household. The honor of such a request turned to horror when Lobelia's charm on Letitia's hare wore off and the animal began fussing in the middle of the meeting.

The girls' ruse was discovered, and Letitia's shame in not having even begun the steps of becoming a winter witch was laid bare. Elvanna ordered Letitia to strangle the hare with her own hands. Then she took Lobelia and Lucretia with her to Whitethrone, and left Baroness Helka with instructions to do the same to her daughter that Letitia did to the rabbit.

Helka delayed, however. She locked Letitia up in her room so she could muster the will to do as her queen had bade. However, Letitia's uncle stole her out of her confinement and brought her to the docks. Lazlo knew the guard captain Vlad Omelinsky, who was responsible for the hiring of the mercenaries and adventurers, had been misreporting the payments and amassing a side fortune for himself. Blackmailing the guard captain, he had Letitia smuggled out of the city and the entire country with one of the adventuring parties that had finished their work.

Letitia dyed her hair and had to ride unceremoniously in a sack in the back of a wagon for most of the journey out of Irrisen. Once past the country's borders, Letitia followed the adventurers south. She didn't exactly know when to stop running, so she kept on traveling until she reached the nation of Taldor. It was there, in a small village called Heldren, that the adventurers finally dumped her.

Letitia decided she couldn't continue calling herself Letitia Elvanna, so she changed her surname to Frost. With some skill at alchemy, she found work at Willowbark Apothecary when she went in to buy some more hair dye with her last bit of coin. After several months enduring a blisteringly hot (though it was mild, the locals said) summer, Letitia began to come to the realization that she was fated to be an ordinary peasant in a foreign town. For a time, she was near inconsolable.

When winter finally arrived that year, she felt immeasurably better. She would wander in the woods in the blissful cold and feel somewhat normal. And then a snowy owl descended from the frost-covered branches and connected with her. It finally happened: she connected with a familiar!

The rest of the winter passed in a blur. Her work in the apothecary improved immensely, and her arcane abilities flourished with the guidance of her familiar, who she named Lazlo after her favorite uncle.

Unfortunately, winter ended, and spring and summer began once more. But she was a witch, and would carry winter in her heart no matter where she went.

Questionairre:

  • How much experience do you have in RPG’s?
Very little compared to most people here, it would seem. I only started tabletop 2-3 years ago (though I've played video game RPGs for most of my life, and studied game design in university). I've yet to have a game last long enough to level up a character more than twice.
  • How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?
I'm playing in five and GMing one over two websites, though several of the games are in the one-post-per-week territory.
  • Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter?
I know the general plot, but I haven't gone through it yet.
  • Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?
Generally, yes. I prefer to not make random filler posts if the game is waiting on someone or if I don't have anything constructive to add, but it's certainly a thing that can be done.
  • Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game?
Not sure how much use it'd be, since the only situation I can see myself ghosting is a medical emergency, but sure, why not.
  • As there any other information you would like to share?
I'm planning on running RoW myself at some point, but it probably won't be for a while. I figure that it'd be nice to go through as a player first.
  • Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself?
    Yep.

Okay, Soshyar the undine druid looks done. I've got a sheet here as well as in plaintext below.

Background and Description:
Along the coast of the Inner Sea, communities of undines thrive and prosper, and the wide mouth of the Jalrune River at the border of Taldor and Qadira is no different. Nestled among the multitude of coves and beaches are thousands of undine families, the people touched by the primal forces of the sea they make their homes next to, undisturbed by the centuries of imperial politics and conflict raging around them. Born to one of these families during a ferocious storm, Soshyar showed remarkable control over the waves and the wild as a child. Such a precocious child was seen as a good omen in the community, but Soshyar wanted no part of it. Unlike the stagnant pool of the undine communities he grew up in, Soshyar felt the need to move on, keeping his mind and body flowing to wherever the world would take it, like the mighty river before him. As soon as he grew of age, Soshyar left up the Jalrune, wandering the coasts, rivers, and wilderness of Taldor and Qadira while honing his divine gift.

Recently, though, Soshyar has been inexplicably drawn back towards his home region. While the reports of strange, decidedly unnatural activity around the Border Wood has Soshyar unnerved and worried about his home, he feels a more primal pull as well, as if he was a drop of water being slowly but surely driven down the face of a leaf before plummeting to the unknown below. Gathering his few belongings and thoughts, he breaks from his travel to head back to the familiar lands of home, and the unknown that is befalling it.

Blue from head to toe, Soshyar's extraplanar blood is evident at a glance. He's not particularly tall or big, though he carries a restless intensity with him. His armor and gear all seem to be crafted carefully from natural materials. Soshyar is eager to move around and see the world, preferring to never stay still for too long - both on a map, and in person. Though this may make him seem jittery, he can be quite patient and thoughtful, though he tends to let his instincts take him in new directions when he can't make up his mind - which is quite often.

As far as the casting thing, I don't watch movies or TV, and don't follow popular culture at all, so I literally have no ideas to answer with. I've basically never heard of the vast majority of the people that everyone else has answered with, and even if I have heard their names, I couldn't tell you what they've done or what they look like.

Submissions need to be in by Midnight websight time tonight, the 2nd.

Please let me know if I have missed something that has been submitted, it is not intentional. I have sent a couple of follow up questions out to people.

What a great list of submissions! And what a movie that would be with some of those cast :)

I edited Maja's profile so that the background section was properly formatted. I hope that clears up any confusion. :)

This is a submission for RoW that I've used before. I think I need to make a tweak or two to put it in line with this recruitment, but it should be easier to look over here.

EDIT: Should be solid now.

Questionnaire

How much experience do you have in RPG’s?
- Six and a half years of relatively regular gaming, including in-person games and PbP
How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?
- Technically playing 6 games, but two are one haitus right now and GMing 2.
Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out.
- Yes to both. I've GMed twice (once in person and once on PbP) and played once.
Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?

I got a place in another RoW game so I'm going to duck out here. Thanks!

Finally done, here is Kazak.

Description:
Despite being a Kellid slave to a (mad) Jadwiga witch, Kazak didn't much mind his life. His owner was too distracted and self-absorbed to be directly abusive, and he received second-hand knowledge on a great many subjects due to her ranting and raving about her classes at the Bloodstone Conservatory. He read when he could, and paid attention, and was generally quiet and obedient enough to not be noticed. This served him well right up until it backfired stupendously. One day his owner, needing an impressive project to impress after some social faux pas, conducted a difficult and intricate ritual to bind outsiders significantly more powerful than traditional methods, at the expense of needing a large amount of time, and a host for the outsider. Deemed obedient enough and unimportant enough, Kazak was chosen for this dubious "honor". To everyone's surprise (except perhaps his owner's), the ritual worked perfectly, and a powerful demonic Xacarba was now entwined with Kazak's soul. His owner rose several places in esteem at the academy, and Kazak was subject to ongoing tests and experiments.

The one bright spot in all this however was that it brought him to the attention of the Heralds of Summer's Return, when his owner took him to a Pharasmin temple for healing after a particularly invasive experiment. His rescue was actually highly successful, and a huge morale boost for the Heralds, as they successfully smuggled him out of Irrisen. One of the group that escorted him after he escaped from Irrisen was a tiefling named Tomorbaatar, whom Zakat bonded with over their shared outsider influences, to the point where when it came time for them to part ways, he left his backup weapon, a strangely sleek halberd, with Kazak.

After almost two years of travelling, he ended up in Heldren, in Taldor, under the care of an old soothsayer named Theodora. For the last two years she has raised him, and done her best to help him discover and adjust to what was done to him. While he still occasionally has flashbacks, and has a tendency to take even casual suggestions as ironclad orders, for the most part he is healthy and content.

I believe I have made all of the edits I needed to for Fryja, so here is the black sheep of the Elvanna family!

How much experience do you have in RPG’s?
About 9 years, give or take.

How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?
10, GMing 2 of those

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out.
I have, I own all the books myself from when I was going to GM it in RL, that didn't go as planned however.

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?
Yep! So long as I've something to reply to!

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game?
Yeah, I'll even give you my discord as I have that on me via my phone all the time.

As there any other information you would like to share?
I am an Irrisen lore NEEEEERD!

Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself?
Yep, I normally do that already so long as XP is provided, so I don't see a problem.

Edit:Found that this didn't make it onto the list!
Cast your character (who plays them in the movie/TV show and budget is no limit)
Charlize Theron, I think she'd play the role well.

OK folks, it looks like we have the list. A couple got in under the wire and one dropped out. I have skimmed and think I have my work cut out for me. I would expect answers the end of the week or over the weekend.

Start date will be dependent on how quickly I can make decision. My aspirational goal is to start on Monday but we shall see.

Cheers

Good luck to everyone.

I'd lay money on a witch making the cut.

I second that! XD

Also good luck to all!

Liberty's Edge

Certainly possible with four to choose from....

I have to tell you that this is the most difficult of the decisions I have made so far. You guys really made it impossible to come up with a four or five person group so I am taking six. If attrition takes us to five we will probably stay with that.

Freyr Ranger Witchguard - HUman - - kamenhero2
Aramant Shifter -Human - Andy Serkis - adsapiens
Tayanalla - Magus Spell Dancer - Elf - scarlett johansson - JoshB.
Kleora - Psychic - Human - Emma Watson - Drogeney

I would not say it is a prefectly balanced group but it is the submissions that I chose.

In all honesty I could have started a second table but I do not think I have the mental ability to keep two groups, at similar places, separate in my brain.

There is not one submission that I did not consider so I am sorry to those that did not get in.

Those that did get selected please "dot and delete" the gameplay thread and post in the discussion thread. The game will most likely begin on Monday.

Liberty's Edge

Have fun!

Thank you for choosing me.

Hope you all have a good game (and don't freeze to death)!

Reopening for 1 character. Preferable a healer. Creation rules are at the start of the thread. We are still at level 1 thanks to all the board outages.

Silver Crusade

I have a Cleric/Witch concept worked out already, but it will need to be reworked (and backed up to 1st). The concept is to go into Stargazer PC at 8th level. I should be able to post the rework tomorrow. For now, here are the answers to the Questionaire

Answers:
How much experience do you have in RPG’s? Over 30 years, going all the way back to 1983, though it was 2 years earlier that I first saw them. I have played many various styles of games as well.

How many PbP games are you currently in? I am playing in 1 PFS scenario, but I have recently started to add to recruitments on several (including your Jade Regent one as Onas Feher). GMing? I have been running a PBP of Mummy's Mask for over a year now. It has been a learning experience.

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? I have read the AP, though it has been a few years now.

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time? Yes.

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game? I will private message the GM and players with that if asked.

Is there any other information you would like to share? I am not as experienced at PBP as I am with the games overall but I bring years of experience at RPing over mechanics. I love a good story and as life has gotten in the way of playing in person, I have found that the PBP environment allows me to play more but with less scheduling issues.

Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself? As a logistics specialist in real life, keeping track of numbers is kind of what I do. This will not be an issue, I even feel I can tend to take it further than is necessary.

Thanks.

Silver Crusade

Actually, I apologize... I will have to repost a different healer. I should have one later this weekend.

I did not give a date to end this. I would like to make a selection on Monday.

Here's Neji the Oracle of Life! Played by Peyton List! I actually love playing support type characters, so went all out with that. Let me know if I need to fix anything!

How much experience do you have in RPG’s? - I've been playing RPGs for around 6 or so years at this point mainly in Pathfinder. I've dipped into 5e and such but Pathfinder is my home.

How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing? - I'm currently in 1 PFS Playtest Scenario which is starting soon and have signed up for one other AP PBP but unsure if I've gotten in. Other than that, nothing.

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out. - Nooope. Only thing I've read is the Player's Guide.

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time? - Yeah, for sure. Not much to do these days besides work.

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game? - Yeah, I don't mind.

As there any other information you would like to share? - I'm relatively new to PBP and a game I had before I ended up falling out of, but I was extremely busy back then and have the time to put forth for this.

Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself? - Yeah, I do that already in my rl group so it's pretty easy.

Silver Crusade

I decided to rework the character after all. Here is a link to the profile.

Aurora Noack

I am using this Post As to allow reference to the questions answered above.

I know that there may be some initial overlap with having a second witch in the party, but Aurora is mainly focused on the cleric side, specifically channeling. The witch hexes and spells will mainly be for support and should not conflict with the winter witch concept too much. Thank you.

Northern Ancestry: One of your parents came from the North, and the tales of the frozen lands at the top of the world that you grew up listening to excited your imagination. Alternatively, maybe one of your ancestor passed on the blood of some frost-rimed creature. You feel most alive during the chill of winter, and as a child, you spent hours playing in the snow. You rarely feel the cold, and you’ve always had a restless longing to travel north. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Fortitude saves, as well as cold resistance 2; this resistance does not stack with cold resistance gained from any other source.

Military Tradition: Several human cultures raise all children (or all children of a certain social class) to serve in the military or defend themselves with force of arms. They gain proficiency with up to two martial or exotic weapons appropriate to their culture. This racial trait replaces the bonus feat trait.

---===Special Abilities===---:

-------------------------------=SPECIAL/CLASS ABILITIES=-------------------------------
Call Heralds (Su)
A herald caller can channel stored spell energy into summoning spells that she hasn’t prepared ahead of time. She can lose a prepared spell in order to cast any summon monster spell of the same level or lower. She gains a +1 bonus on concentration checks to cast a summon monster spell defensively. This bonus increases to +2 at 5th level, and increases by 1 every 5 cleric levels thereafter.

Dedicated Summoner
A herald caller depends on summoned allies to overcome her foes, which affords her little experience with the martial pursuits typical of other clerics and a narrower spiritual focus. A herald caller can choose only one domain from her deity’s list of domains, rather than the normal two domains, and she doesn’t gain proficiency with medium armor or shields.

Divine Heralds (Su)
A herald caller can use summon monster spells only to summon creatures particularly appropriate to her deity. This includes all creatures listed as summon monster options for priests of her deity (see Expanded Summoning for Clerics), creatures whose alignment matches at least one aspect of her deity’s alignment, and creatures of an elemental subtype that matches a domain granted by the deity (if any). When summoning a creature that is normally summoned with the celestial or fiendish template, a herald caller of a chaotic deity can instead summon it with the entropic template, and a herald caller of a lawful deity can instead summon it with the resolute template.

Because of these summoned monsters’ strong ties to the herald caller’s deity, the herald caller also gains specific benefits with creatures she summons with summon monster spells gained from her cleric spell list. The herald caller and her summoned monsters can understand each other’s spoken words as if they shared a common language (though this doesn’t give summoned monsters the ability to speak if they normally lack it). Whenever the herald caller uses channel energy to heal, she can include all of her summoned monsters, even if they are out of her normal channel energy radius or of a creature type that would not normally be affected. If she channels energy to deal damage, she can exclude any of her summoned monsters that would normally be affected.

Travel Domain:
You are an explorer and find enlightenment in the simple joy of travel, be it by foot or conveyance or magic. Increase your base speed by 10 feet.
Agile Feet (Su): As a free action, you can gain increased mobility for 1 round. For the next round, you ignore all difficult terrain and do not take any penalties for moving through it. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Channel Energy (Su):
A good cleric (or a neutral cleric who worships a good deity) channels positive energy and can choose to deal damage to undead creatures or to heal living creatures. Channeling energy causes a burst that affects all creatures of one type (either undead or living) in a 30-foot radius centered on the cleric. The amount of damage dealt or healed is equal to 1d6 points of damage plus 1d6 points of damage for every two cleric levels beyond 1st (2d6 at 3rd, 3d6 at 5th, and so on). Creatures that take damage from channeled energy receive a Will save to halve the damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the cleric’s level + the cleric’s Charisma modifier. Creatures healed by channel energy cannot exceed their maximum hit point total—all excess healing is lost. A cleric may channel energy a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier. This is a standard action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. A cleric can choose whether or not to include herself in this effect. A cleric must be able to present her holy symbol to use this ability.

---===Background===---:

When a noblewoman falls in love with a barbarian from an unfriendly tribe and gets pregnant, there's going to be a scandal. Such was also the result for Jon Erikson from the prod Ulfen tribe of Seigar and Alisa Yelizaveta from the Jadwiga, the ruling caste of Irrisen. Instead of fighting against both their families, the couple choose to flee in order to provide a future for their child. Eventually the couple settled down in Taldor where they made a living making wine and selling it to the thirsty nobles there. The son they named Erik Jonson.

Growing up for Erik was a clash of cultures, his mother taught him courtly manners, his father taught him how to fight, but the day to day business was all about making wine. Every day he would practice with his father for several hours, using mighty polearms from his father's tribe or a powerful hornbow that his father had once upon a time claimed as spoils of war from the orcs of the hold of Belzeken. After dark his mother would more often than not spend an hour or so to teach him and eventually his brother Haldor and two sisters Katerina and Anna as well about their ancestry and how to behave.

There were often other people coming to the winery to trade or to buy wine. They came with tales of adventure, or frequently worship of Cayden Cailean, because his followers couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit an excellent winery. They told him about the importance of fighting tyranny and oppression and this made the young boy wonder if his parents really did make the correct choice in leaving their homeland instead of staying to fight.

Inspired by these visitors Erik would often travel to the nearby city to visit the temple of Cayden Cailean and stay longer than what would be necessary to just sell wine. Eventually he spent more time there than at home and finally he was ordained a cleric of the lucky drunk. He was surprised at his father's reaction to the event. Jon gave him one of his finest polearms, a fauchard and one of the mighty bows. Jon told his son that it was now up to him to prove himself and that Jon would pray to Erik’s god that his son would gather more valor and accomplish more than he had been able to do.

---===Appearance and Personality===---:

Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Skin: Fair
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 197 lbs
Erik is a mountain of a man, raging over six and a half feet and with plenty of muscles to match. His face is quite handsome with blue eyes and blonde hair. With a chain shirt and a massive cold iron fauchard he looks more like an adventurer than a cleric, but the tankard symbol on the chest of his jacket and the holy symbol around his neck kinda gives him away.

Erik has ventured out adventuring to fight for what's right, though he doesn't get know exactly what he'll encounter. He wants to see the world and what's out there, not just stay in one place all the time.

The young man loves wine and tasting different kinds and he hopes that his travels will give him opportunity to sample more. When he needs to relax, he prefers to enjoy alcoholic beverages with song and good company. He's not a loner that prefers to drink by himself.

A fair bit of channeling should provide most of the healing necessary. For spells he'll be focusing on summoning, buffing and what healing his channeling can't deal with. In addition he's decent at fighting in melee, especially by using a reach weapon to fight enemies coming at him.

How much experience do you have in RPG’s?
I've played pathfinder for over six years with some dabbling in other systems. Mostly I've been playing online, but I've played a couple irl games as well.

How many PbP games are you currently in? GMing?
I'm playing in 4 other pbp games, though one of them have completely stalled.

Have you played, GMed or read Reign of Winter? Note that experience will not rule you out.
I've played through book one irl, but with kids I'm no longer able to play such sessions. I hope to be able to play it out fully online instead.

Can you post at least once per day M-F 90% of the time?
I generally have time to post when commuting to or from work and often a bit times in the evenings as well. It shouldn't be a problem.

Would you, if requested, provide an actual email for contact if you ghost the game?

Sure, though I would prefer to also have discord as an easy way to communicate if the boards go down.

As there any other information you would like to share?
I got two small kids, a stable job and a wife. That doesn't leave much time for long sessions, but being able to play pbp while commuting or after the kids have gone to bed is perfect.

Do you understand that you need to track XP and other resources for yourself?

It shouldn't be an issue.

Great stuff so far.

Submissions are closed. I will review and make my selection tonight or tomorrow. Then I need to work you in.

Well this one was not an easy decision at all. I have emailed the person selected so as not to ruin the surprise for the party.

Honestly the other submissions were of high quality this one spoke to me for a few GMing reasons.
