Whoa, whoa, why am I in front? Squishy caster goes in the middle or the back!
Akhenethys finds himself in front of his strong friends, instead of the other way around, and hurriedly casts a spell that, if successful, should stop the creature from attacking this round.
Grease, DC 17 Reflex or fall prone, on the square marked on the map. If it works and the Zombie goes prone, Akhenethys will walk into the room, making room for the fighters. If not, he will run for the safety of the tunnel behind them. There's more than 30ft before an empty space, but since the combat rules say that if your movement ends in an illegal space, you have to move to the closest legal space, I think that would let me make it to the square next to Two Tall as a move action.

Lilyth moved into the room and set herself, brandishing her spear and warning the others.
"Remeber, do not move past me until the creature attacks. We can all benefit from that."
That said, she turned back to the zombie and prepared herself.

Fatham brings his scimitar down again, but this time can't penetrate the creature's tough hide.

Kastarr lets his axe blade rip through the zombie's dead hide. using the momentum from his strike, the ranger brings the axe around in a tight arc to cut at the zombie again.

So, if I try to hit him with a ranged attack, even a touch, I'll be at an effective -12, due to in melee, soft cover, and prone.
Akhenethys assumes his comrades have the foe well in hand and begins examining the room.

Fatham can in fact penetrate the creature's hide. His scimitar cuts into the decaying flesh, though the creature.

The creature stops moving.
Akhenethys examines the other side of the room. In that recess, he finds the perfectly preserved body of a young boy lying in a puddle. It stares silently upward. You notice an striking resemblance to Colson Maldris, leader of the Liberty's Edge faction.

Not sure if Akhenethys is going to reveal that to the rest of us, so...
Two Tall suggests moving further in, but being alert to more of the undead. He begins moving deeper into the tunnels, alert for trouble.

After searching the corpse of the undead and ensuring it's dead by cutting off its head, Fatham moves down the stairway and joins Two Tall.
He looks around into the next rooms.

"I believe he had a younger brother who attended the school. Since Lilyth, Kastarr and I work closely with him, perhaps we should see if the three of us can find an appropriate token of his brother's to return to Maldris. A notebook or something perhaps. We'll look on our way out."

"I assume that Maldris would want to give his brother a proper funeral. Our job was to make sure that there is no incriminating evidence on his body."
Kastarr rolls the young boy's corpse while Fatham tends to the zombie.

Lilyth stepped back while the others decapitated, then searched the body. Instead, she wandered the room, peering into doorways and generally trying to see if anything was headed their way.

Who has light sources again?
Lilyth enters a room where water drips from the double-vaulted ceiling and trickles down the walls to pool on the floor. Bone shards of a hundred skulls litter the room like shattered seashells. Wide stairs climb to the west. Narrow stairs dive to the north. On the south wall, an open doorway gapes, a carved relief depicting a massive battle filling the archway over the door. The rest of the walls are filled floor to ceiling with nooks that house ancient, but drenched, skeletal remains. In the center of the room sit twelve spectral school children in a circle on the floor. One child seems to be silently telling a story, her arms moving rapidly as she makes scary faces.
Deris rushes forward.
"See! Alive! I knew it!" he screams, pointing at her. Fatham begins to hear the sound of movement from the north corridor.

Fatham has light as a spell he'll use whenever he can't see.
Fatham growls like a wild animal as he hears movement from the north.
"Something is wrong here...something is coming!" he snarls as he moves to north corridor to guard the way.

"Deris, wait! Don't rush out ahead!" But it was too late. The man had run on ahead, with Fatham quickly following behind. Lilyth passed up both and set her spear to receive anything coming down the hallway that looked even mildly dangerous

Kastarr has a Wayfinder. It allows the casting of the light spell at will. I would assume that the Wayfinder is what actually lights however. Kastarr also has 3 torches and 10 tindertwigs. They are more for burning things, than light, though. So he would be using the Wayfinder as needed.
Kastarr notices that Deris is doing something crazy again, and hurries to catch up. Who invited this 'fine gentleman' to come along, again?

Ok, just double checking, as we're in windowless underground. Fast forwarding a bit if you're leaving Deris alone.
The sound of the footsteps increases until Lilyth sees three humanlike creatures with mouths full of pointed teeth approaching. The first one, rushing up the stairs towards her, fails to notice her spear until too late, and he stops moving as it impales him. Using that AOO roll as a surprise round action, more or less.

Akhenethys has a wayfinder, as well.
The wizard sees the creatures attacking Lilyth, and calls out, "Watch out, I think those are ghouls, just like we faced in the museum!"

Lilyth was glad Akhenethys knew what these things were, because she didn't have a clue. The fact that one impaled itself on her spear showed they weren't very smart, or very tough. Still, that bite on her arm hurt, and the wound itched madly.
Thinking that her longspear made it difficult to attack, now that she had gotten in the first strike, she withdrew, letting the others take the fight to the ghouls.

I got it from someone who applied to one of my APs long ago. I've been adapting it and updating it to add new classes and such. If you want the latest version, I have one newer than this.

Akhenethys recognizes these as ghouls, undead who feast on human(oid) flesh. Their bite carries a deadly disease, that turns its victims into ghouls, while its bite and both its claws can paralyze, though elves (including half-elves) are immune to that effect.
The ghoul arrives at the top of the stairs, and is promptly mauled by the dinosaur. The undead bites right back, but misses.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
G: 8 damage

Two Tall waits until after Milarandei begins singing, then moves over next to Kastarr and gets ready to attack should the creature get within range of a swing of his axe.

The last ghoul rushes up the stairs, right in time for Two Tall's perfectly timed axe stroke.
Investigating the room they came from reveals a room where a lone body lies on a platform, dressed in ornate bronze full plate armor.
From the main chamber, stairs descend, ending in a narrow doorway. The crash of waves can be clearly heard through the stone.
Deris remains sitting, talking to his spectral daughter. She continues to appear to talk to the other translucent children, seemingly ignoring him.
Who wants to be first through the door, and is there anything you'd like to do first?

"I'm gonna need a bigger axe." Kastarr grins at Two Tall.
As he looks at the body in the ghoul's room: "A dead hero in bronze armor... That sounds familiar."
Does the figure in the bronze full plate have an inscribed shield, per chance, GM Lari?
