I like the idea of the priest/cat burglar. He could be a monk, except for the lawfulness...
I actually played a Half-Giant Barbarian 1/Psychic Warrior 1. He was very effective, thanks to his Powerfull Build + Rage + Expansion + Force Screen. Originally though, I envisioned him as a Half-Orc Barbarian/Sorcerer. Then the GM made the mistake of allowing psionics...

The summoner who's afraid of his eidolon.
...I take it back, I might play that, actually. It would be kind of awesome to have a character who refuses to use his main ability until things have gotten totally screwed.
The look on his face the first time the eidolon was summoned would be priceless

A druid with hayfever.
A shortsighted ranger.
A depressiv bard.
For the second, just go two weapon combat style. Or two handed. Or sword and shield. Or mounted. Plenty ways to make that work.
For the third, try listening to some Nirvana. Or watch a Shakespeare play to the end. There's a bard archetype committed specifically to depressing themes: dirge bard.

summoner with eidolon is not even on the list of character classes! What about rules would not allow naked Barbarian.
Lam
It's not about whether it's allowed or not, it's about ineffective characters that are fun/cool to roleplay.
Like a fighter optimized for defense, but not so optimized for attack and damage.

I had a look on the Dirge Bard: Haha:) This character sounds fun to play. And when I'm playing it I'm gonna listen to Nirvana. But not to the song "I Hate Myself and Want to Die", guess my team members wouldn't fight that well.

- A barbarian who becomces peaceloving when under stress.
- a wizard with Tourette's syndrome.
- a bard, performing jokes, and always forgetting the punchline
- a giant in a gnomes body,...
and, i have to admit, i`d like to play someone like Stanley_Tweedle, once... or maybe not.

A Diviner who considers himself a Runelord of the Eighth Sin: the Sin of Impudence. He'd Detect or Seek Thoughts to look for people's embarrassing secrets, scry on people who are in the privy, craft Amulets of Thought Projection, and when you finally try to give him a much-deserved smacking, it turns out he's already protected himself from the type of energy you were going to zap him with, or already has Stoneskin going or something.
I wouldn't even make that guy the villain of a homebrew adventure.

The most amusing character I ever played in a party with was a crossdressing barbarian in heels.
Lots of crises of faith in the middle of melee combat.
