Fun build you will never play

Pathfinder Online

Some fun character concepts that nobody will ever play.

A Paladin with kleptomania.
A barbarian sorcerer who goes into a blind rage and try's to beat in the brains of who ever interrupts his spells.
The pious priest by day, cat burglar by night.
Bardic druid who will only perform for the trees.

I like the idea of the priest/cat burglar. He could be a monk, except for the lawfulness...

I actually played a Half-Giant Barbarian 1/Psychic Warrior 1. He was very effective, thanks to his Powerfull Build + Rage + Expansion + Force Screen. Originally though, I envisioned him as a Half-Orc Barbarian/Sorcerer. Then the GM made the mistake of allowing psionics...

Int 9 wizard.

A druid with hayfever.
A shortsighted ranger.
A depressiv bard.

Dark Archive

A naked barbarian. Yes, that means no clothes.

The summoner who's afraid of his eidolon.

...I take it back, I might play that, actually. It would be kind of awesome to have a character who refuses to use his main ability until things have gotten totally screwed.

The look on his face the first time the eidolon was summoned would be priceless

Sorry but I actually did play that.

Elven Ranger/Bard/Arcane Archer with a fetish for dryads. :)

A bard whose Performance was belly dancing.

Have you read the Golarion setting? They are practically begging you to make a Varisian Bard.

Ok here's one: A half orc Paladin...

...with a unicorn mount.

Now that I think about it, there are probably thousands of them in WoW.

Halfling male with a "thing" for female ogres. Too short a career.

Halfling female with a "thing" for male ogres. Even shorter.

Ewwwww! :(

I'm confused. "Career" is apparently a euphemism for something, and I'm POSITIVE I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS.

A thief that is afraid of the dark.

A drow ranger who embraces the dark nature of his kin, but infiltrates good organizations by pretending to be a good-aligned rebel against his cultural upbringing.

summoner with eidolon is not even on the list of character classes! What about rules would not allow naked Barbarian.

Lam

wiz/fighter/rogue with a heavy repeating crossbow.

For the second, just go two weapon combat style. Or two handed. Or sword and shield. Or mounted. Plenty ways to make that work.

For the third, try listening to some Nirvana. Or watch a Shakespeare play to the end. There's a bard archetype committed specifically to depressing themes: dirge bard.

It's not about whether it's allowed or not, it's about ineffective characters that are fun/cool to roleplay.

Like a fighter optimized for defense, but not so optimized for attack and damage.

Half Orc pit fighter who always sounds like he just copped a mace to the nuts.
The absent minded professor type Alchemist.
Bard who mimes or is tone deaf.

I had a look on the Dirge Bard: Haha:) This character sounds fun to play. And when I'm playing it I'm gonna listen to Nirvana. But not to the song "I Hate Myself and Want to Die", guess my team members wouldn't fight that well.

An egotistical wizard who only casts spells when being given high enough praise.

Goblin Squad Member

I once played in a game where the cleric was like that. Getting healed was an exercise in brown-nosing.

- A barbarian who becomces peaceloving when under stress.
- a wizard with Tourette's syndrome.
- a bard, performing jokes, and always forgetting the punchline
- a giant in a gnomes body,...

and, i have to admit, i`d like to play someone like Stanley_Tweedle, once... or maybe not.

Not a build I've never played, but one that I should never have played: The pacifist battle cleric.

lol ... lots of merciful weapons and stunning blows ?

The most amusing character I ever played in a party with was a crossdressing barbarian in heels.

A Diviner who considers himself a Runelord of the Eighth Sin: the Sin of Impudence. He'd Detect or Seek Thoughts to look for people's embarrassing secrets, scry on people who are in the privy, craft Amulets of Thought Projection, and when you finally try to give him a much-deserved smacking, it turns out he's already protected himself from the type of energy you were going to zap him with, or already has Stoneskin going or something.

I wouldn't even make that guy the villain of a homebrew adventure.

Lots of crises of faith in the middle of melee combat.
