Raevin doesn't get a chronicle for that game (remember, I'd already played it with another character) - but thanks for running and letting me stay for no credit - it was fun watching the big guys duke it out again!
Sorry about lagging behind, it took me longer to "dig out" than I'd anticipated, and then I was ill to the point of incapacitation yesterday. Still dragging today but at least among the living again. I'm working on Wyeth's level-up now and will have it posted shortly.

Just a head's up, I'll be away from my usual computers and routines from Friday to Sunday. My father-in-law died and so I'll be out of town for the funeral. I may have access to wifi and some time to kill, so I'll try to check in but don't expect any posts until Sunday night or Monday.
I am going in for surgery tomorrow. It is a one-day out-patient procedure but I probably won't post much if at all tomorrow, at least until nighttime... depends on how I feel... bot me as necessary if required. Thanks.
Shasta, was kinda wallowing in my own misery and didn't really pay much attention to the actual text of your post. You have my sincere condolences for the loss of your father in law.

Thanks. Fortunately, he lived a long full life and was in failing health, suffering from dementia, so, not so sad as relieved. My wife and I had a good visit with him not too long ago when he was in better health and so it's as good as such things can be. Chuang Tzu said, "That which makes my life good, makes my death good also."

Hey guys, so I JUST noticed this thread as the other one closed while I was at Denver Comic Con a couple of weeks ago.... I'm up for continuing the misadventures of Saitama though, if it's still not too late!

@Marduk: For you, there are three solid ways to boost your AC.
1. Get a wand of Mage Armor and a couple of potions in case for some reason, there's no arcane caster capable of using it (like oddly enough, this party). That's a +4 armor bonus for 1 hour in either case.
If you do want to use it on your own, a single level dip in Bloodrager will keep up your BAB, allow the use of several useful wands, give you the ability to bloodrage for more damage and HP if you need it, and either boost your speed, give you a boost to your CMB (Steelblood archetype, although that isn't quite flavorful), or grant you an Improved combat maneuver bonus feat (Blood Conduit archetype, which is actually flavorful and potentially useful). In either case, if you do go for a bloodrager dip, the Elemental bloodline seems to pair well with your 4 winds monk archetype. Point is, use the mage armor!
2. Crane Style feat, Snake Style Feat, or Snapping Turtle Style feat. Crane Style will give you more bang for your buck (+4 Dodge to AC/CMD for a -2 attack penalty) while Snapping Turtle gives a flat +1 shield bonus with no penalty as long as you have a hand free. Snake Style allows you to use an immediate action to use a Sense Motive check as your AC for one attack, which can be useful, although it will burn up your swift actions and you need those for ki stuff.
3. Take the Qinggong archetype, replace something (Slow Fall or Wholeness of Body are my favorites) to gain Barkskin as a spell-like ability that costs 1 ki point per use. That'll grant a scaling natural armor bonus, which helps since if you use the Amulet of Mighty Fists later, you won't be getting the Amulet of Natural Armor. Plus side, this'll stack with mage armor nicely.
Other options include ring of protecetion (2K for a +1 ring), or potions of shield of faith (+2 deflection for 1 minute).
Well, my understanding is that monks can take a free adjust after lvl 2 one time by going to the unchained monk - but he will lose his archetype if he does that, so there is a tradeoff there...

@Marduk: The Qinggong monk archetype actually can be at any time until you hit level 4. This is because the archetype doesn't kick in until level 4 when you can swap abilities. In fact, it's the only archetype that you can take and never use. :)

I can't find any posts from our GM or any aliases since June 1. Should we be worried? Probably just summer vacation or some such, but I can only find one post where mention is made of an impending interruption in posts. Hope all is OK.
You haven't seen me around for some time for which I apologize. Some three weeks ago my computer broke down and it took about a week to get it repaired.
In that time I also experienced that I had too much on my plate and instead of being honest about that to myself (and you) I dropped the ball and did not resume posting when the technical issues were sorted out. I felt obliged to get back to you, but that became harder with every passing day. I finally have found the courage to get back to the Paizo site.
I have had a lot of fun playing in all the PbP's I have been in, but I feel that I need to take a step back and stop playing online for the time being. It might be that when my work and personal life willl settle down again that I will be back, but I feel I should not promise to posting regularly right now.
Sorry to hear you can't run this, but thoroughly understand how you feel - best to you... saitama, I'd be honored to play in a game you ran if you'll have me.

Fair enough, thanks G!
Okay, I finally have a bit of breathing room to review scenarios. The options are:
1. I can run the Scions set for you all.
2. I can run a module. I think the party is the perfect level for The Feast of Ravenmoor, a level 2-4 module.
3. I can run The Destiny of the Sands series (starts off 1-5, then ends with 3-7, Season 5). Hakime/JAF0, will two games put you at level 3 so you'd qualify for that scenario if we did it?
Please let me know first if you have played any of those, and what your two favorite options are from what you haven't played.
Is destiny of the sands the module where you end being mythic for 1 game? if so, I've played it, the title sounds very familiar. The scions or the feast of ravenmoor are fine with me.

There are a couple people I've played with who would fit well with this group. I could reach out to them and see if they're interested and have a suitable PC, if it'd help.

I have not played any of the options and don't have a strong preference. Based on the promo blurbs, I'd rank my interest as Module (Ravenmoor), Scions, Sands.

Okay, I pinged ("panged?") three players from the intersection of the sets "people I really enjoy playing alongside" and "seriously talented roleplayers" and "likely to have a PFS PC available." Membership in the third set is just a guess, but I'm positive about the first two. :o)
I pointed them to this thread. We'll see what happens.
I'm one of Wyeth's ping-ees. I'd be interested, but my tier 1 PFS PC is a Chelaxian devil binder- LN, tending LE. Not sure she'd fit in with this group. Plus she's level 1 while everybody else is 3/4. She's a hoot, though.
