I'd like to toss my hat in as an interested party. Does anyone have any particular opinion on what'd make a decent spider focused witch doctor?
I was thinking Summoner might actually work out well. I do seem to play a lot of those, though.
Edit: Oh! Alchemist might be reflavored to work out well with that...
Sukur, some thematic domain choices might be Good, Glory, Protection, Strength, Sun (especially the Light subdomain) or War domains.
Twilsemail, perhaps the GM would allow you to take summon swarm as a formula.

I'm going to work on figuring out how a Witch Doctor wound up outside of the Umbaru and sort out the mechanics later. I still need confirmation from the GM that there's room for me to apply.
Master Summoner is looking more tempting. Swarms and swarms of spiders eventually. Some kind of ugly creature from Mbwiru Eikura following me around. Should be a blast.

To some poeple, this might just be a new experience. Hwangawa, however, was shaken. She could say, without boasting, that she knew the calls of every bird that lived in the Umbaru jungles. She'd always been close to the spirits of air and song, and the birds were their children.
The world became more clear and she could tell that she was in a forest, not the jungle. The trees were wrong, too old. The spirits here were restless. They did not receive the proper care.
She spent several days wandering the forest, calming the spirits here, before she found the town. She was unsure what might be happening inside, but she moved towards to gates to see if this was why the spirits had moved her here.
I'll have an alias up within an hour and post it here.
Edit: Here she is. I apparently forgot to buy gear. I'll rectify that shortly.

Sukur, my previous character was a Cleric of Iomadae, and Rasmus thought that it would work really well as a substitute for Zakarum, so during the RP portions, he would refer to my character as a Zakarumite. I think it would work just as well if you wanted to use a longsword instead. Just my opinion.

I would be VERY interested in playing this particular game, I really love the Diablo world and thinking about making a Fighter that's barbarian-themed since the PF barb doesn't fit as well with the one in the game. I'll have a bio and sheet made sometime today later on for you.
